3 out of 5 eggsbroken after 28 days

Pros: has a little curve to the rows. very confy to use. this should be the standard keyboard everywhere. just wish it lasted more than a month.

Cons: Broke after 28 days. will not give me a power light when you put in the batt. or a light at all just stoped working. i was in the middle of a sentence and boom nothing. mouse still works just fine.

Other Thoughts: great keyboard! nothing specal about the mouse. it works. bought a different mouse so i dont use it that offten except when im training.

3 out of 5 eggsNot my best investment??

Pros: wireless, easy install, excellent features, comfortable size

Cons: lasted less than 2 years!! Started producing weird results a few months ag0 (turn off the pc and watch it restart within 1-2 minutes-------repeatedly!! (And, NO, there is no other wireless unit within range of this). Now, a single keystroke is liable to produce any/all/random/multiple results on screen---or nothing at all! Brand new batteries---now just a converstation piece!!

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Keyboard however..

Pros: I like the feel of the keyboard, also like the feel of the mouse. Decent pricing as well. It's also nice that the wireless receiver is essentially like a usb drive and not a large device like older wireless keyboard/mouse combos.

Cons: The range of the keyboard is terrible it didn't work plugged in under my desk....

Sometimes randomly the mouse will stop working correctly and I have to lift it off the mouse pad and move it around and then it starts working again. This doesn't happen very often but it's something to be aware of.

Other Thoughts: I would've probably rated it 2 and 1/2 eggs if that was a choice...

5 out of 5 eggsgood combo

Pros: Bluetrack works on thick carpet or countertop and it is awesome.
Spill proof keyboard.
Nice key feeling and feedback.
Not completely silent (both mouse and keyboard -I mean when you click or press keys) but also not noisy either.
Wireless works well at 30 feet away from PC (clear path)
Batteries last long (I have purchased this model about 2 years ago)
If you have any problems , Microsoft customer service is easy to reach and the support is great (also USA based)

Cons: Not iluminated

Other Thoughts: Great wireless mouse + WIRELESS keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsGood KB/Mouse combo

Pros: 1 USB dongle for both components, reaches to 23ft before it cuts out. I used a USB 2.0 port which got me to 28ft before cutting out. Might have something to do with interference with other electronics. Keyboard shortcuts are useful to have.

Cons: Mouse wheel isn't "click" or "notch" type, it's the smooth scrolling. A little bit annoying but I kind of seems a lot more accurate than my old mouse

5 out of 5 eggsUSB 3.0 is the culprit for distance problems

Pros: Range
Battery life
Mouse works great on pretty much any surface

Cons: The mouse has no back/forward buttons.

Other Thoughts: I've noticed a lot of reviews complaining about the short range this keyboard has. It actually advertises a 30 feet range and I've seen it live up to that. I personally own two of these and work in the IT department of a school where we have at least a dozen. What we discovered was that USB 3.0 interferes with 2.4GHz wireless devices. When plugged into a USB 3.0 port the range is about 2 or 3 feet, but when in a 2.0 port the range is easily the 30 feet advertised (without anything in between). Even a 3.0 port that's next to a 2.0 port can cause the interference so it's something to keep in mind. 5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard and Mouse

Pros: Quiet keyboard, nice big mouse, lots of customizable features! And a fantastic price!

Cons: The wireless range can be sketchy at times.

Other Thoughts: I used a USB extension cable to mount the receiver a little closer to the keyboard and mouse. Has been working fine for almost a year! Don't know why people whine about it so much.

3 out of 5 eggsokay

Pros: nice design, and mouse,
its wireless

Cons: it looses connection between my computer 7 feet away and me on the couch, theres a glass table in the way, but hey.

Other Thoughts: seems to be okay though, may just be my envirorment, id have to recommend it.

2 out of 5 eggsPiece of Garbage

Pros: It has every letter and most of the punctuation, I think. Looks cool, what with all the white plastic.

Cons: Keyboard loses signal and mouse lags at a distance of 24 inches, rendering both basically unusable about 40% of the time. This review took me a full 8 minutes to write because of the terrible keyboard I'm typing it on.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't buy it again.

The stupid little dongle is a terrible idea. My last keyboard/mouse combo had a receiver unit with a USB cord coming out of the back of it, making it easy to move the receiver close to the keyboard, making it possible to use.
