5 out of 5 eggsI love this keyboard!

Pros: Very comfortable to use
Padded wrist rest
Hot keys

Cons: Haven't found any

Other Thoughts: This keyboard is so comfortable to use that I just ordered another one to take to work - and it was $10 less than I paid for the one I have in my home office. Although I've only had it about 2 weeks, I'm quickly getting used to it. It does take some time to figure it out - the keys are spread apart more than a standard keyboard and, of course, a laptop. This makes it a bit difficult to switch back and forth. I work from home 3 days a week and go into the office 2 days a week, and it's already been a bit odd switching back and forth.

It comes with a removable plastic riser on the front that tilts the keyboard more downward. It was way too much for me at home so I removed it, but at work I have a stand-up desk and it might just be a good thing there - I'll have to try it out.

I haven't done anything yet with the programmable keys and I need to figure out what the little slider in the middle is for, but once I get comfortable with the rest of the keyboard that's my next step.

1 out of 5 eggsShould have learned the first time.

Pros: Form,

Cons: quality, longevity

Other Thoughts: This is the second one of these i have bought in the last year. I'm an IT Director for a non-profit in 35 states. Same issue both times. The entire left half of the keyboard will stop working. No warning. Fine one minute, dead the next. Nothing to be done but throw it away and start again. Apparently the quality has gone way way down. Won't buy this model again.

4 out of 5 eggsReally Annoying B Key

Pros: I love how this keyboard conforms to how you rest your hands, not trying to get your hands to type a way they are uncomfortable with.
Also I really like the favorites keys, they really help bring up apps quick. The keys have a lot of travel which I like, speaking from a guy thats been using his laptop's keyboard for everything.

Cons: REALLY annoying 'b' key! I don't know if i keep pushing it wrong but it never wants to work with my normal typing, I always have to push on it really hard if I want it to work. Though I do have an older model, so microsoft might have fixed it.

Other Thoughts: Just an observation, this keyboard is kind of loud, to me that really doesn't matter, but just saying. Awesome for the price!

1 out of 5 eggsThe B Key is in The Wrong Place

Pros: It's certainly comfortable to use... if you type the letter B with your left hand.

Cons: The B key is in the wrong place. I, along with pretty much everyone I know, types B with my right index finger. With this keyboard, you either have to get used to typing B with your right hand, or replace all your B's with N's. I ended up switching back to a regular keyboard.

Other Thoughts: Just putting an extra B key on the right side of the split would have fixed the problem.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful

Pros: Got this to replace horribly old Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard. If you liked the old one or any other ergonomic keyboard you will love this one. Macros and zoom wheel are the 2 biggest items I have noticed on the keyboard.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsErgonomic Keyboard

Pros: - Ergonomic
- Inexpensive
- Lots of Function Keys

Cons: - Difficult to get Function Keys to work
- Takes a little getting used to

Other Thoughts: I got this keyboard at a greatly reduced price as a Shell Shocker deal. At normal price, it is still a pretty good deal. I was not expecting much from it, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised. In terms of ergonomics, this keyboard is really nice. It feels very natural to rest your hands on. Rather than being raked toward you, the keys slope down as you go up the keyboard. It took me a while to get used to the keyboard, but I now really like it. The keyboard has a lot of function keys, but I had a rather difficult time actually getting them to work. And still, they only work on the rarest of occasions. However, I have always had issues with function keys, and I did not purchase this keyboard for the function keys. Construction quality isn't bad, and the keyboard seems durable, but I do worry that the rubber domes will wear out faster than I would like them to.

Overall, this is not a bad keyboard. If you do a lot of typing, you owe it to your wrists and hands to try this thing out.

4 out of 5 eggsPeople who use them LOVE this k/b

Pros: Great key feel
Fixes issues with fingers and wrists

Cons: Key caps will wear out like a cheap suit over a short period of time - deleted one star for that.

Other Thoughts: People who know how to correctly type won't ever care about the key cap paint wearing off. However, when you service a PC in a business environment, those who need to do repair work at the PC may have a hard time navigating if they can't type like a pro.

1 out of 5 eggsWhat a pain to use

Pros: A number of extra function buttons; hand rest

Cons: Horrible keyboard action, very difficult to type on.

Other Thoughts: ANGRY TYPING -- learn how to punch this thing like this is your last letter on Earth ... the keys are so hard to push, especially the space bar. I've had soft-touch MS keyboards before that were a pleasure to use ... not this one ... it's ideally suitable for King Kong. I've corrected 10 keystroke typos just writing this. DO NOT BUY.

3 out of 5 eggsGood, but doesnt last long

Pros: Great layout. Looks cool, the ergonomic design is wonderful.

Cons: keys randomly stop working.

Other Thoughts: I have had 3 of these. The first 2 died within 3 months, and by that I mean certain keys would just stop working. They wouldn't come back after a reboot or attempted cleaning, they were just gone like the circuitry burned out. I exchanged the first 2 and this is my 3rd one. It has lasted about a year and now several of the keys on the right side of the keyboard and number pad no longer work. I have to cut and paste certain letters to use them when typing. Its been too long since I bought it to exchange it, so I will have to shell out for another keyboard. As much as I love this one when it works, I don't see myself buying this one again.
