1 out of 5 eggsComma key quit working after 8 months

Pros: Decent ergo layout

Cons: My comma key quit working on me after 9 months...now I have to buy a new keyboard. Of course I cleaned it several times; removed the key; got the air spray; etc...

Other Thoughts: I thought I got a bargain on this (comma) but since I have to buy another one (comma) it was much more costly than what I bargained for. I hope to get at least a year- or two -out of keyboards

5 out of 5 eggsWish they still made this keyboard

Pros: I work as a mainframe programmer. I use this keyboard daily and type quite a lot. I've never had any issues with it and it has worked wonderfully.
--Easy typing layout
--Perfect amount and layout of media and hotkeys
--normal key layout
--Easy to find volume and mute (silver)

Cons: the middle Function keys are a bit hard to reach (F4-F7). Probably not a big deal for most but for me it is a little bit annoying.
Smaller than normal Ctrl key, I've not really noticed any issues but it can be overshot when reaching for it.

Other Thoughts: I truly wish they still produced this keyboard. I'm looking to get a new one for my home PC and have been looking everywhere to try and find this exact keyboard.

I think the new Microsoft curve keyboards are too curved and wouldn't be comfortable for my odd typing style. I like the easy to find volume buttons (silver) and think they might be considered too outdated for newer keyboards, but I love them.

4 out of 5 eggsStill the best shaped compromise

Pros: Works perfectly, never had it break. I eat on it all the time. I'm sure it's disgusting inside but I never have problems. The curve is great for relieving stress without the extra hassle of split keyboards.

Cons: It's so incredibly basic. This isn't a gamers keyboard at all. If you need to hit 4-5 buttons at the same time you'll have to re-map some of the keys just to make it reliable in hectic games.

Other Thoughts: I wish someone made a higher end keyboard with the ability to just smack the keyboard and have everything register. I really don't remember what that's called but any self respecting "gamer" keyboard would have that ability.

The fact that it's a curve doesn't slow me down at all. Even with using regular keyboards all day I just fall right back into the pattern at home.

5 out of 5 eggsMicrosoft curved keyboard

Pros: Awesome keyboard for the price. The curve makes typing easier on the wrists, but a little harder when switching back and forth between non curved keyboards.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Microsoft keyboards have always worked well for me. I have only bought the inexpensive ones, but never had an issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff

Pros: Very comfortable key spacing.
Traditional size F-keys
Traditional layout for the 6 keys above the arrow keys.

Cons: Hard to find. Must not be made any more.

Other Thoughts: The only thing that could make this better would be backlit keys.

I've seen the newer flavors of the Comfort Curve, but I just don't like their key layout and /or tiny F-keys.

2 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard...for a while...

Pros: Good ergonomics. Good aesthetics. Good price. Easy to install.

Cons: Worked for a little over a year (when the warranty ends) then random keys started intermittently failing. Internet searching indicates that many people have run into this same problem. A solid slap to the back of the keyboard seems to fix the problem temporarily...however, l am shopping for another keyboard. Not happy with the reliability of this one. May not buy another Microsoft product...
