4 out of 5 eggsworking great

Pros: working great, been through a few drops and beatings, and still going strong.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: did break off one of the fold out feet, but same design hasnt changed in a while was able to rob one from an old white KB and it fit perfectly

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Keyboard

Pros: Very durable. Spill proof. Very comfortable.

Cons: Perhaps it would be nice to have the palm pad removable for some people? But I've always enjoyed it... Only an issue if you don't like palm pads. Not wireless (this also isn't an issue for me but if you require a wireless keyboard this one doesn't have that option) Once you get used to typing on this awesome keyboard you'll hate all other keyboards.

Other Thoughts: This was my first ergonomic keyboard. When I first got it I thought I may have made a mistake due to the difficulty adapting to the design. However, once adapted I couldn't stand standard keyboards and realized how terrible they are on your wrists. Friends have complained trying to type on it, but I just reassure them it's because they learned to type incorrectly! Depending on whether or not you learned to type T, Y, G, H, B, and N correctly this may cause a problem until you learn. Something worth mention that is not in the product info is that it is spill resistant. I spilled coffee on mine and thought for sure it was done for... NOPE, opened it up, wiped off the plastic input and it was good as new - all electronics (save for the LEDs in the center) are coated in plastic and are waterproof. You won't regret this keyboard, but you will hate all the others after you get used to it.

5 out of 5 eggsClassics never die!

Pros: I love the natural feel. The buttons are a bit rough on striking down. I dont think its ideal for those who are looking for low profile buttons for quick typing. I still average ~90+ wpm. I use it for college stuff plus some gaming.

Cons: Arrow keys are different than what i'm used to, not like i use them much. But, the down arrow isn't between the left and right. Again, not a big deal, hardly use it, just something that I'm not used to.

Other Thoughts: Built sturdy, great for overall use.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Quality Control @ Microsoft

Pros: looks nice. looks sturdy. looks ergonomic ...

Cons: Defective. "H" key stuck on full blast. Fails at keyborad error in bios. Where is the quality control at Microsoft? Microsoft owes me $150 (for my evaluation and my customers disappointment.

4 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: It works fine. the keys are ok except for the arrow keys. the letters are easy to see for me but my husband cant see them as well as on the cream colored one we used to have.

Cons: The keys are way too close together. I dont like the arrow keys set up like they are on this board. I guess i'm just used to a much larger keyboard. This one seems to be very small to me.

Other Thoughts: You can say what you want but for my money i want the kind of keyboard i like. I use argo because of having surgery for carpal tunnel, which is prob why most ppl do. and i really like the arrow keys to be layed out so they are easy to use. I personally would not buy this one again.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Look, Great Color

Pros: I like this keyboard, the black color is nice instead of the old off white or cream color. The last one i had was the white/cream and it worked great. I had carpal tunnel surgery awhile back and this board makes gamming fun again. This one is a little bit narrower than my last one, but nothing bad.

Cons: The only thing i wish is that the arrow keys, right side, were a little farther apart. they are kind of close and smaller than my other board. not worth an egg but still......maybe i just have fat fingers.

Other Thoughts: If you like the ergonomic type of keyboard , you'll love this one. For the price it cant be beat. Great job Newegg!!!

5 out of 5 eggsSame as the old keyboard

Pros: If you like the Natural design, split or separate down the middle, or use to it from school.work, then this is perfect.

Cons: Takes getting use to.

Other Thoughts: This exact keyboard design came with the Windows 95 machine, so I have gotten use to it. The old Natural keyboard is still functioning since 1996. The new one is just an additional keyboard to the laptop docking station.

5 out of 5 eggsBack in Black - A long time favorite for programming!

Pros: I've used the Natural Keyboard Elite since the beginning of my Web development career in the late 90's. I love the key placement and especially like the new Black edition as it modernizes the look while maintaining the same feel.

Thanks Microsoft, it looks better in black!

There are several options when it comes to ergonomic keyboards and this one in particular has a good price point of entry. Another plus about this board, at least for me, is the function keys (F1 - F12) are just that function keys. As a programmer I don't like it when those keys have alternate (default) options like opening an email app (I do realize that manufacturers have gotten better about that).

Cons: The indicator LED's in the center of the keyboard for Num Lock, Caps Lock & Scroll Lock are fairly dim on mine. I'm not sure how prevalent that may be. I have several of the classic grey/white versions and the indicators are much brighter. Not a biggie - keyboard functions great!

Other Thoughts: Ergonomic keyboards & standard keyboards are alike in that it comes down to personal preference. Some prefer more feedback in having that click/heavy key feeling, while others prefer the soft touch. I do like this keyboard because it isn't typically loud when I'm typing. If you are looking for an Ergonomic keyboard on a budget, this one is a winner in my opinion.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh quality

Pros: My grandmother needed a keyboard she could use and not have any wrist or joint pains with. This works perfectly and is great for long term use.

-comes with an adapter for USB but you need the driver installation to run before its recognized not inside the operating system.

Cons: -could be cheaper as its just a bent keyboard
