1 out of 5 eggsKeyboard stand broke off

Pros: Different keyboard layouts, was a good deal when I got it.

Cons: Foldable keyboard feet broke in half... keyboard is useless now.

Other Thoughts: Very disappointed.

3 out of 5 eggsIf you dont like Macros

Pros: Not a bad design
Functioned as desired

Cons: Horrible Macro Program

Other Thoughts: Had this keyboard for about 2 years, wanted to set up macros the entire time but the macro program from Microsoft just was not up to par with the competition. After many hours and lots of frustration I gave up on the macros.... yeah you can call me stupid or whatever you want for not being able to set it up. But IMO given the price of the product, I can buy (now) a mechanical logitech, or razer, and get much better macro programs - so why does this keyboard still hold the price it does?

Spilled a drink in it and it did not recover so replaced it with the Logitech g710+ and never looked back. Logitech macro programs top this by massive amounts that I think should drop the sidewinder by like 50% price.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard, but get it on sale

Pros: -Red back light
-Has a good feel
-Basic macros

Cons: -Only a red back light
-Macros sometimes fail to work
-Can't do very advanced things with macros
-Macros only work on certain programs
-Not worth $100...

Other Thoughts: I am glad I got this keyboard on sale for $50, it is a good keyboard and I am loving it, but the price when it is not on sale is outrageous...
Macros are not the best, advised that you don't get this keyboard if you are heavily into macros.
You can get a much better keyboard for the same non-sale price.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard

Pros: Red back light
Good feel

Cons: Only red back light
Macros are not that great, and only work on a few programs

Other Thoughts: Good if you just want a normal keyboard and not that interested in making macros.

5 out of 5 eggsTHE KING OF KEYBOARDS

Pros: Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick! This Bad Boy is Awesome! I love the look and feel of this keyboard, I am amazed at how well crafted Microsoft's Hardware Division Designs products, Bill Gates should have gotten out of the software business and into the hardware business. The speed, precision, red lights at night and keys rock!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Another Perfect Precision Product to Purchase! Well worth the value!
I would be willing to pay $100.00 for this keyboard, wired or wireless!

4 out of 5 eggsSidewinder X4

Pros: + Great gaming keyboard for the price
+ 3 groups of 6 macro keys (easy to set up with software)
+ Adjustable brightness key
+ media buttons

Cons: - Media buttons only work with Windows Media Player
- USB cable is going out (if I pick up the keyboard, it disconnects)

Other Thoughts: This was my first gaming keyboard. I still use it but I'm looking for something better to replace it. It's still a great keyboard and I recommended it!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: A great overall keyboard. I love the fact that it's wired and doesn't have to be charged. The keys feel great. The back lighting makes the keyboard feel warm, and the price is really good.

Cons: None that I know of. This had everything I wanted in a keyboard, and it does it well.

Other Thoughts: This was recommended to me from a friend that uses it as well. I love, and if it every dies in the future get another one.

3 out of 5 eggsNice keyboard - until key tops wear off

Pros: Nice keyboard, good feel to keys, backlight helps.
Wired USB - no dead batteries ever.

Cons: I use this for my work computer. Lots of use of certain keys - especially tab and numeric keypad.
"Tab" key's marking has worn off so now the tab is just a red backlit blob. I've worn out other keyboards before but never in just one year.
Control key is now starting to go bad - makes cut and paste rather difficult and I now must watch it every time to make sure it works.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat gaming keyboard

Pros: Very nice keyboard, black finish with adjustable backlit letters. Programmable macro buttons and comfy feel.

NOT a loud typing keyboard which is WHY I LOVE it! You do not hear peckity peck peck all day with typing on this keyboard! I type very fast and get annoyed with the constant sound of loud key presses.

Cons: NONE

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: It's nice to have backlit keys. I haven't really played with the macro keys ever so I can't comment on that. I've had zero problems with the keyboard. Nice price too.

Cons: Not a huge fan of red as the back light.
