5 out of 5 eggsGreat KB

Pros: Well built
low noise
adjustable backlit keys
nice form factor, not to big or small
types well
nice for gaming
macro keys
great durability

Cons: None really...some sellers are listing this KB for around 300 dollars....is that a joke ?

Other Thoughts: bought this on sale about 4 years ago for about $35...one of the best additions to my PC ever.

5 out of 5 eggsDo you really need a screen on your keyboard? Buy this f cking thing. It's ideal.

Pros: Great keyboard. I've had it for a long time, well over 5 years.
Literally no issues. I've spilled sh t all over it. Oil, soda, beer, you name it. Keyboard is built like a tank. It has brightness settings. I've kept mine at full brightness since day one. Has the side number keys, which I like. Big reason, besides the back lit keyboard, was the side number keys. You should buy this unless you want something different.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The keyboard still lights up, I've never had a key to stop working. It feels brand new. Doesn't feel cheap. It doesn't feel like typing on a cloud, which I, frankly, don't give a f ck about anyway. I haven't even fully utilized it either. I've had it forever and I'm not sure what the record, 123 button, and six buttons S1-6. Haven't used a single fu king one. Don't know what they do, I could read the manual and figure it out, but I don't. I use the keyboard to type. Maybe one day I'll stop being a stubborn f ck and read the thing and maybe make some use for the few buttons I don't use.

5 out of 5 eggsNo issues after over 4 years of use

Pros: Non offensive, led back lit keyboard
3 levels of brightness
programmable macros
Long life span
Quieter than most keyboards

Cons: Only one color led
Macros operate at the speed you input them

Other Thoughts: I have had this keyboard for over 4 years, as has my roommate and friend. I have seen their keyboards drink more than a few beers in their time and still function without issue. This keyboard is resilient, it's a shame they don't make them anymore.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Keyboard I've Owned

Pros: Ordered this keyboard off Newegg back in 2011 when I built a pc. The Keyboard has worked strong over the years, and stills functions exactly it did the first day.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product for the price I paid 4 years ago

Pros: -Nothing has failed after almost 5 years
-macros and media buttons
-it has been dropped, stepped on, spilled on and in general taken a beating over the years and not a single thing broke. It will last a long time.
-backlit
-not mechanical, but the keys still feel nice

Cons: -After a while, the coating on the keys I use most (WASD) has worn off and the letters are now giant smudges. It's not a big deal to me and it's the only quality issue.

-The media buttons don't work in some programs, and tend not to work when in a fullscreen application or game.

-Software is not the best. But it's not the worst

Other Thoughts: I bought this keyboard about 4 years ago for the sale price of $30. Multiple people I know bought it as well and loved it. This is a great keyboard but for the price I paid, not the current price of $265. I honestly don't know what the deal is with the price going up so much. DO NOT PAY MORE THAN $60 FOR THIS PRODUCT.
Overall it's probably one of the best non-mechanical keyboards out there for someone who is a gamer but also needs to type the occasional essay.

5 out of 5 eggsSideWinder x4

Pros: I purchased it at Newegg on 02-01-2013 for ~ 16.5% the current asking price as of 11/01/2015.
It is still working without any issues.
The customization features are nice for game play and multimedia.
The price I paid for it.
It has gained in value as it is now selling for $268.99.

Cons: It is a bit noisy.
The color adjustment is bright, medium, dim off.
One color only.

Other Thoughts: I'm willing to sell mine...near perfect condition... for only 50% the current asking price if you are interested.... :) hahaha

5 out of 5 eggsSolid keyboard

Pros: Backlit, has macro keys
Keys feel crisp compared to other non-mechanical keyboards
Price (two years ago)

Cons: Function keys/esc are a bit small
Backlight is a bit dim compared to other backlit keyboards
Price (now)

Other Thoughts: I've been using the keyboard for about two years. The only drawback is the small esc/function keys (annoying if you use vim, or a game that uses function keys a lot). The backlight is a bit dim in good room lighting, but in the dark it's great.

Overall, it's a solid keyboard that I'd definitely recommend at its original price of $45 or so. If you're not dead-set on getting mechanical switches, it's hard to find a backlit keyboard with macro keys for less from a reputable manufacturer.

But for some ridiculous reason, it's showing up for >$100 now. That's more than a high end mechanical keyboard packed through the roof with features. This keyboard is nice, but it's not worth >$100. Just get a nice mechanical keyboard if you're going to pay that much.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Worth Price

Pros: Backlit
Fairly Durable
Some good drivers

Cons: Not Mechanical
Cannot Change the Backlit colors
Still has some Ghosting issues
No Decent driver support for Windows 10. Fancy that being its a MICROSOFT BRANDED item.

Other Thoughts: I had the keyboard since it half a year after its release got it for $30 black Friday at best buy 2010. Now newegg asking $299 for a non mechanical discontinued pile of made in china plastic. My board fried today as I write this was a small crackle in the usb wire and fried the microprocessor on the board. After tearing it apart its just as cheap as any made in china gaming board you can buy for less then $30 that is backlit. My recommendation is if you want to pay for something get a Steel Series mechanical, Logitech G510, or a Razor Blackwidow because they are fraction of the price Newegg is asking for this.

3 out of 5 eggsSo-so quality in a pretty package

Pros: The red backlighting is a bit easier on the eyes at night, and the dim functions worked well to put it at a reasonable brightness level
Media keys are nice and work seamlessly

Cons: Low profile keys don't feel right to me on a desktop. Not much resistance in the keypad, doesn't come close to a log1tech g series keyboard, let alone anything with mechanical switches. Keys wear fairly quickly

Other Thoughts: Good for somebody who isn't too demanding, not so much for power users. Definitely not worth the new 300 dollar price tag, a value at 25-35 bucks
