5 out of 5 eggsEnjoying it

Pros: Back lighting levels on the keyboard, the color red. keys are lower profile.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I like how the keys sit on this keyboard, the keystrokes are quite and quick. compared to the "gaming" mechanical keyboards which just makes me feel like I am back in the early 90's.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat functioning Keyboard

Pros: Price, Functions, Mid range keystroke, Backlit, Multiple key pressing, and it's a nice looking keyboard that has a sturdy feel to it. Looks great combined with a red LED mouse. I'm surprised at how often I use the calc button.

Cons: I'm not big into using macros, but if you are, keep in mind this records the keystrokes with the exact timing that you took to record them. If you are using the macros in hopes to save time thinking that the commands will enter instantly this will not be the case.

Other Thoughts: It didn't take long to get used to after several years of using only short stroke keyboards. I don't like the long stroke of most of the mechanical "gamer" keyboards and this was a nice happy medium.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Everything works like it should and no wear on keys even though I use it everyday 4+hours a day.

Cons: Had to uninstall the drivers once or twice after a windows update as it seemed to cause and issues with the keyboard drivers.

Simple fix on uninstall and reinstall and all was back to working order but a tad annoying.

4 out of 5 eggsLove this Keyboard!

Pros: I absolutely love this keyboard! Its not too loud like mechanical keyboards (which I'll never get for that reason). I've had this for two years, 3 months and there is still nothing wrong, all LED lights are working. The Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse software is easy to use. Created some macros for certain games.

Cons: It does get dirty a bit easily due to the piano like finish. Also the wrist rest seems to like to collect your skin and can be pretty nasty after a couple years.

Other Thoughts: I like to turn it upside down to clean it out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard all around

Pros: Well, All I got to say is this, I have owned this keyboard for the last 5 years. For these 5 years I have been Gaming with it everyday for about 6-12 hours a day. Of course There are days in there I have not but yea know for the most part I used it every day. I play FPS games mostly but also play League of legends and so forth. The keyboard has been Great this whole time and is still holding up. This was my starting gaming keyboard and I am tempted to buy another.
So with that said GET IT.

Cons: Only con with it and this is on my end. I never use the Macros, I could and should but I do not they seem out of the way for me.

Other Thoughts: So Because I have had this for 5 years about to go on 6 It is starting to feel like it needs to be replaced soon. The keys are finally wearing down and so forth but they have not let up at all for reading that I hit the key.

5 out of 5 eggsBest keyboard for the price

Pros: Great build quality
Feels super great
Backlight rocks
Price is super low

Cons: Backlight is only red, but red is cool. Not enough to take off an egg.

Other Thoughts: Using this after any other keyboard makes other keyboards look inferior. You can feel the difference.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Keyboard I have Ever Owned

Pros: Great key feel, gaming buttons, back lit, nice palm rest, super responsive.

Cons: No curvature so it can hurt to use for school work.

Other Thoughts: Because of my typing style the keyboard is a bit loud, it is GREAT because it drives my wife insane and she leaves the room. Then I can switch from doing some work to gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: I've had this keyboard over a year and I still love this thing. The anti-ghosting on this keyboard is awesome. Different keyboard profiles. Tons of macro slots/configuration, even app-specific capability. Media buttons on the top are great, and turning off or dimming the keyboard illumination when leaving your computer on over night is convenient.

Cons: Needs more color options!

5 out of 5 eggsStill going strong

Pros: Almost three years old, and it is still fully operational. Even the lettering is not wearing down.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Almost three years with a teenage user, and it is still going strong. This keyboard has outlived the original rig, and probably a half dozen mice (mouses--Meeces, whatever). I just reviewed again, because someone asked about a rugged keyboard, and I had to check my old reviews to remember the model number, and since I am right here why not an update.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent keyboard

Pros: Has all the same macro keys and control keys of a Logitech G15, without the rather useless LCD. I bought one of these after nosing around when my G15 finally died. First I bought a Microsoft Natural 4000... after about a week of using that ergonomic keyboard, my hands were hurting! I don't get what's 'ergonomic' with those things if they start hurting your hands.

So try two is this X4, much cheaper than the G15 as it lacks the useless LCD panel and keysize/layout is almost the same. Nothing new to learn between the G15 to X4.

Cons: Cons... macro buttons will not work with alternative desktop systems like KDE and such. That's kinda expected considering how hostile Microsoft is towards competitors.

Other Thoughts: I really don't do a lot of gaming these days, but it's nice to have the macro keys there for the few I do. They also work well enough for general desktop commands not already covered by the media keys.
