5 out of 5 eggsThe Best Keyboard Ever!

Pros: This was bought to use at work as I have R.A. in my hands and wrists. The pain in my hands after a long day typing was excruciating to the point I was having trouble driving home. I am so glad this was a cost effective and amicable solution. The gentle curved angle is supreme for comfort. I use this with a keyboard shelf. I have been pain free for a month. It's nice having the short cut keys marked, but I especially love, love, love the calculator key. For the price and comfort this is worth having some much that I bought one for home.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Sometimes when I am on out another office mate will use my computer so she can be closer to a friend....I hated that, especially when she messes with my settings. I always complained but mgmt never did anything. She cannot get used to the new keyboard and complained. They told her to stay off my computer and sent out a memo to all employees about using their assigned work stations only. For that alone I nominate this keyboard as "Best Product Ever" !!!!

2 out of 5 eggsit's a downgrade to past comfort curves

Pros: Ergonomic
Soft and quiet keys

Cons: Terrible layout making keys more compressed together.
Arrow keys are right next to Ctrl key and number pad.
The worst is expanding the delete button and moving the Insert key to the top.
I use Ctrl+Insert and Shift+Insert so often my fingers are trained on the location of those keys from all keyboards.
Now Microsoft wants to change the layout so while typing and making changes to documents and spreadsheets I'm deleting data and losing clipboard cuts.

For a business keyboard it's counter productive as you make more mistakes due to the compact redesigned layout.

Other Thoughts: I cannot continue using this keyboard and will be searching for an alternative brand. I've always preferred Microsoft ergonomic keyboards as they do have a more natural hand position to other "wave" keyboards.

2 out of 5 eggsNow legs to adjust keyboard height

Pros: not sure

Cons: Bought it for my wife that has always used and Erg. Keyboard. She rejected it right away is it is quite flat and does not have legs to adjust the height.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: This keyboard is great, I suffer from carpal tunnel, and this keyboard relieves my pain . It is well made.

Cons: none I can see

Other Thoughts: I found this one is far better than the Microsoft sculpt comfort wireless keyboard, that model slides on the desk too much, the wired one I bought to replace it doesn't slide at all and has a good grip on the desk

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: A more natural position than a straight keyboard. Curved but non-split: good for CAD work where I'm mousing w/ one hand while hunt&pecking with the other, while reasonably comfortable for touch typing.. Sturdier than non-brand name KB's.

Cons: Will take some time to get used to key position for CAD work.
It seems that no matter how much money I give Bill G. he still won't get a decent haircut.

1 out of 5 eggsawful replacement

Pros: None

Cons: My comfort curve 2000 broke, and I thought this would be a good replacement, the HUGE curve is neither comfortable nor helpful. Super awful, not sure I want to spend the time or money to return this poorly designed keyboard

Other Thoughts: WHY did they discontinue the comfort curve 2000?

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Price

Pros: Purchased for use with ASUS Laptop and J5 Create USB-3 docking station. Connects and works well.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Not quite the build quality I was expectation from a Microsoft Product. It seems to work fine but feels very cheap. Only time will tell.

2 out of 5 eggsSome keys barely work after 2 years

Pros: Comfortable design

Cons: Several of the keys no longer function properly after only 2 years of gentle use. The 1 and 2 keys in particular require a very firm press to work, basically the keyboard is nearly useless now since it is such an annoyance.

5 out of 5 eggsNot a SQUARE keyboard...

Pros: Nice curved keyboard. Have used the previous version of this for online games for 5 years (abused it), I type a great deal of words every year and this is a very comfortable way of doing it.

Cons: ***Not really a con: If you use an old square keyboard, it will take a little time to get used to this one. Usually less than an hour or so...

Other Thoughts: Other users who gave it 1 egg because they were not used to it yet makes it an unfair review. Don't let those few people keep you from ordering this great product.

2 out of 5 eggsNothing but generic support from Microsoft

Pros: It works.

Cons: Windows only recognizes it as a generic USB keyboard. There are no MS drivers for it. There is no software customization possible for it. If you go to the MS website you will find a "mouse & Keyboard Center" download associated with it but all that does is turn off the little generic support found for any keyboard within the control panel so that you are left with exactly zero configuration options for the thing.
