5 out of 5 eggsExcellant Value

Pros: Very nice keyboard & mouse. Many pre-programmed keys, and 5 keys you can assign macros of filenames to. Solid construction. Ergonomic. Nice feel. Very easy to set up.

Cons: Could not find a sleep button on the keyboard. Overcame this by programming one of the keys to call the sleep command line code

Other Thoughts: I spent hours pouring over Newegg reviews for wireless keyboard/mouse combos under $40. Picked this keyboard as reviews seemed to be the best overall. Worked out great! I am very pleased with this keyboard/mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsLove her!!!

Pros: Looks nice, buttons are low profile and slightly curved for easy typing, 5 programmable hot keys, media hot keys and palm rest (was a must for my purchase). I was looking to spend more for a keyboard but this had what I wanted and more so who can complain about that!

Cons: I wouldn't say it's a con but the glossy finish never really fairs well with me since it collects dust and scratches easily.

Other Thoughts: The keys do go straight across without spaces, ie: my old delete key was above the up arrow, now end is above the up arrow which has been messing with me but I'll re-train my brain soon enough. So I wouldn't say compact but consolidated.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent for the price

Pros: Programmable hot keys, mouse has scroll right and left and can be used on any surface, completely wireless, comes complete with batteries. Made by Microsoft so it sets ups within minutes with imbedded software (no CD required).

Cons: None noted as of yet.

Other Thoughts: Have only had it a little over a week, so the battery life in the keyboard and mouse it not known as of this posting.

4 out of 5 eggskeyboard 2000 with mouse

Pros: Inexpensive, keyboard response is good, sensitive up to 10 m (according to the spec sheet). Don't need to sit at the desk.
Mouse fits my hand, no extraneous buttons to press by mistake.

Cons: The 10 meter thing presumes a line of sight between the USB antenna and the mouse. When the antenna was plugged into a USB port on the back of the case down underneath my desk, the mouse performed poorly on the desk above the case. I solved this problem with a USB extender cable (M/F). Now the mouse works as far away as I can see the cursor on my 24" screen.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat economy wireless desktop

Pros: Economical
Attractive
Easy install
Batteries included

Cons: At this price point, none.

VS. more expensive units
No recharging
Hard to beat a cord mouse for gaming

Other Thoughts: I put in the batteries (included!), plugged in the receiver, and it just worked. All business. The keyboard has a nice texture in the wrist rest area that makes this set look more expensive than it is.
