2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Mouse wheel has no "click" stops.

Cons: Mouse's principal (left-click) button now works intermittently and only with a HARD click effort. Cleaning with canned air didn't help.

Mouse wheel has bad bearing; grinds unless rolling it perfectly down the center.

Keyboard's directional cursor keys are WAY too close to other keys, so I accidentally hit other keys when trying to use cursor keys (I'm a fast touch typist)

The keyboard itermittently doesn't work or has lags. I've now had to situate the USB receiver on my monitor base (via USB extension cable) to get it to work somewhat decently.

Other Thoughts: It seems difficult to find a decent keyboard/mouse combo these days. After several disappointing Logitechs I thought I'd give this Microsoft combo a try (since I had a decent Microsoft RF-wireless mouse for my laptop), but after a year of using this I am once again looking for yet another keyboard/mouse combo. :(

2 out of 5 eggsAwful Mouse

Pros: The keyboard works fairly well for general use. It has a nice feel and the keys are good quality.

The mouse does work on the large majority of surfaces (although sensitivity varies slightly per surface)

Cons: The mouse is terrible. It loses the signal at random times.
The rubber on the mouse wheel broke off after a year.
The keyboard custom macros don't work well. I usually have to press the button multiple times before it will run.
The battery life is about a quarter of what they say is typical. My mouse batteries need replacement once every couple months and the keyboard lasts 4 to 5 months.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for a mouse

3 out of 5 eggsNice feel and build quality..

Pros: Good feel, layout. Nice texture on the mouse and the batterys appear to be holding up very well.

Cons: USB 3.0 port issues.. It randomly will let me type when plugged into a usb 3.0. All the of the special keys and the mouse work perfect. But the regular keys would randomly stop. Had to install a USB 2.0 card into the PC to plug this into so this issue would stop. No idea the reasoning to why this has problems but it makes me think of the iphone/usb 3.0 port issues.

1 out of 5 eggsKeyboard does not even balance

Pros: Mouse works fine, and both keyboard and mouse look good.

Cons: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I am so disappointed that this keyboard does not even balance... I assume I got unlucky, and received a keyboard that does not even balance. I am too lazy to return things, so I will just have some papers folded underneath the keyboard to balance, but it is really annoying...

3 out of 5 eggsAlright for the Price

Pros: The keyboard works great - it has a lot of functionality.
It was easy to set-up.
The battery life was pretty good.

Cons: The mouse may be the worst mouse I've ever used. Everyone that uses the mouse says they hate it

1 out of 5 eggsJUNK

Pros: Wireless, comfortable, features

Cons: Wireless. Jittery mouse if more than 3 feet from receiver. Mouse wheel is hyper sensitive. Scrolls even if you just place your finger on it. Escape button isn't a normal button.

Other Thoughts: Was expecting more from a Microsoft product. After having a lot of trouble with my Sidewinder 8x, I'm done with Microsoft products. DO NOT BUY.
