Pros: Works well on Windows. Comfortable.

Cons: Analogue sticks are unresponsive near the middle. Fine motion is not possible. Diagonal selection with the D-pad is difficult.

5 out of 5 eggsperfect

Pros: Easy hookup, worked right out of the box. No issues whatsoever. Didn't need to configure anything. I have two of these hooked up through one receiver.

Cons: Not a con for me, but some people might not like that there is zero software configuration.

Other Thoughts: Bought to use with Lego Star Wars III: Clone Wars. We are running that through Steam.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect to play oldschool 2d indie games on Steam

Pros: Cheap.
Comes with a controller and a wireless dongle.
Plug and play.
Works out of the box with most games on Steam.

Cons: Drivers are stable but lacking features.
No way to know batteries power level.
No way to close the controller after use.
D pad is really bad.

Other Thoughts: It is the 360 controller for PC. No need to say more except that there's no way to know the battery power level on PC. Also you can't close the controller after use. It will clause itself automatically after some time but it is still a problem. If you stop playing let's say Rogue Legacy and then want to start to play Metro then Metro will automatically work in controller mode cause the controller is still on. There's 3rd party software to clause it (you can find them with a simple search) but this feature should be included with the drivers.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks, but can't turn it off

Pros: Exact same controller as Xbox360.
Wireless USB dongle for PC has long cord (about 5 ft).
Good range (15 ft or more).
Worked perfectly with Titanfall - no setup required.

Cons: Can't turn the controller off. Normally, I would shut a controller off from the XBox menu, but the PC driver provides no control panel or anything. To turn it off, we have to momentarily open the battery compartment.

Other Thoughts: The instructions don't mention pairing. Just like with the XBox, you have to push the pairing button on both the controller and on the USB dongle to get it to work.

1 out of 5 eggsNot the best quality wiring

Pros: Great feel. Makes Pc games feel like console games with better graphics (depending on your videocard). Easy setup.

Cons: The controller already is acting up. The wire part that meets with the controller is losing connection when you just barely move the wire. I have to hold it extremely steady or it disconnects at the worst moments.

Other Thoughts: If the cables were made better this would be 5 stars. The fact that it went down just a few months after purchase is ridiculous. I have no pets or children and I'm older and take care of my stuff. Buy with caution and take care of the wire.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works
Official controller feels better than the others I have used

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was skeptical about the wireless adapter since I heard so many people have had problems with connectivity. In a small desk setup where I am maybe 5 feet from the receiver this thing works very wonderfully. Quality controller. The 360 controller is hands down the best I've ever used and this official Micros---- one is leaps and bounds better build quality than the Afterglow I had been using before.

Will update if there is failure in an unreasonable time. (within 2 years)

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quick Response Time
Rumble Feature
Sleek Look
Controller Casing Feel
Signal Works Through Objects

Cons: If you have very large hands, as I do, the battery pack will annoy you to no ends as it takes up almost all the room in the middle of the controller's back.

It's not a huge biggie, and I can compromise since it's wireless and there's not much they could do other than have it charge instead of using batteries.

Other Thoughts: It does what it's supposed to do, and it does it well. The only bad thing I could think of was the feel when holding it if you have large hands.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's an Xbox controller

Pros: It's a regular Xbox controller and It's comfortable to use. It doesn't get any more basic than this.

Cons: N/A

3 out of 5 eggsrandom disconnects

Pros: Works most of the time.

Cons: Often disconnects while playing. Sometimes so often that I have to watch the controller for the lights, to make sure it's still powered on. Not reliable for fast paced games, for which an interruption like control loss, may result in the game being unplayable.

Other Thoughts: Don't know if it's a aberration, since it's the only MS controller I've owned for the PC, but none of my half dozen, or more, Xbox controllers for the consoles have ever had this problem. It worked flawlessly for a few months, and then got flaky. My guess is an issue with either the receiver or the software.
