5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: When I purchased this controller, I was expecting an xbox 360 experience on my computer.

What I actually got was far more. Paired with a good system, the gaming experience is far better than what you can get with a console. Playing Bioshock Infinite on ultra, I realized how responsive and smooth these controllers really are. It's completely unlike the experience on an actual xbox.

While many older games don't have controller integration, almost all of the newer games do.

Dead Space 3, Bioshock Infinite, Skyrim, and Borderlands 2 look and feel so much better on the PC with this controller than they do on a console.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat.

Pros: Durable, no dead zones on the joysticks, very responsive.

Cons: None really always loved the official 360 controller over any other or aftermarket 360 controller.

Other Thoughts: Mine plugged in and played no problem on Windows 7 didn't even use the disc that came with it. All games I have tried set up nicely, if you do run into problems give the program Xpadder a try.

2 out of 5 eggsi got a bad one

Pros: No wires
If you like the XBox 360 controller configuration, you're set for comfortable and familiar controller use on your PC.
Maybe lasts longer and works better than cheap aftermarket brands? (←only unconfirmed rumor at this point!)

Cons: Mine didn't work right out of the box.
Long suffering over the discontinuation of the original XBox large "Duke" style controller, I find this (and every controller version that followed "Duke") to be too small for my hands.

Other Thoughts: It noticed that there's a fair amount of problems with these when I first skimmed through the reviews, before buying. But I took my chances and hoped for good results. When I first connected it to my PC, the left joystick was always stuck to the right some, even when not in use. The stick looked physically normal, but internally I guess, it was off some. So in the game I was playing, my character would be stepping to the right even while the joystick was untouched and resting in the neutral position. I tried "resetting" the neutral position of the joystick. ...by removing the joystick from my PC and reconnecting it (always making sure both joysticks were resting in neutral orientation during reconnection), resetting the game, even restarting my PC.
The controller never did work correctly. I boxed it for return that same day.
I successfully returned it for a full refund, nevertheless forever losing about $15 in my return shipping costs for even having taken a chance on this item.
I decided not to opt for a replacement, as I already had my doubts about quality before buying it in the first place. (note that people say the USB receiver part can go bad too)
I'll stick to using wired Xbox controllers connected to my PC via USB converter cable.

3 out of 5 eggsLeft thumb spring wouldn't return fully

Pros: Microsoft controllers are great to use for games.

Cons: This is my second problem I've had with these controllers in one week. My wired one's cable just decided to somehow become lose and would lose connection from the PC. And I take REAL good care of my things. So I decided I would try a wireless one. Well guess what? This one's stick doesn't center fully after moving to the right. Now I'm in the process of an RMA. I just hope the next one doesn't have the same problem.

5 out of 5 eggsConsole-quality control

Pros: Tight controls, responsive buttons, comfortable analog sticks

Cons: No auto shut-off feature

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for the console gaming experience on your PC, look no further. Setup takes seconds & the controls feel exactly as they do on the 360. The only complaint I have is that the controller doesn't automatically shut itself off when you turn off your PC. There's no "off" button either. Instead you have to remove the battery compartment, but it's not too much of a hassle & shouldn't be a deterrent from buying this gamepad.

Pros: familiar ergonomic wireless design

Cons: NO WAY TO POWER OFF EXCEPT REMOVING BATTERY PACK. xbox statistics collector bloatware included in installation.
