5 out of 5 eggsIt's an Xbox controller

Pros: It's a regular Xbox controller and It's comfortable to use. It doesn't get any more basic than this.

Cons: N/A

3 out of 5 eggsrandom disconnects

Pros: Works most of the time.

Cons: Often disconnects while playing. Sometimes so often that I have to watch the controller for the lights, to make sure it's still powered on. Not reliable for fast paced games, for which an interruption like control loss, may result in the game being unplayable.

Other Thoughts: Don't know if it's a aberration, since it's the only MS controller I've owned for the PC, but none of my half dozen, or more, Xbox controllers for the consoles have ever had this problem. It worked flawlessly for a few months, and then got flaky. My guess is an issue with either the receiver or the software.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best controller on PC so far

Pros: - Easy to setup, especially on Windows 7/8
- Batteries are easily replaceable
- Good battery life, auto-shutdown after 10 minutes of no use
- Great handling in just about every area
- Great wireless signal

Cons: - Squeaky analog sticks; sound might go away over time
- No rechargeable battery pack like with other controllers (requires another part to buy)

Other Thoughts: This is probably going to be the best controller for PC games until Valve's Steam Controller comes out some time in the near future.

Highly recommended for games that are simply better with a controller than a keyboard/mouse combo.

5 out of 5 eggsworks well with steamos

Pros: Works well with steamos. That is all I needed it to do. Cannot possibly be worse than the Logitech cordless rumble pad 2 that I had before.

Also tested and works fine on win 8.1

Cons: None

1 out of 5 eggsWould like to review it if it ever gets here

Pros: Well hoping it works great and like the idea of less wires

Cons: Would love to actually receive this item. Paid for the 2nd air shipping so I could get it quickly, but ordered on 2/26/14 and still haven't gotten it. Now it is delayed because of weather, if it would have been here on time it wouldn't have been caught in the weather in Dallas.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gamepad

Pros: Wireless, well built, great compatibility.

Cons: Sometimes the receiver does not show up in printers and devices window, and has to be unplugged then plugged back in. This does not happen very often, but it happens on two different computers of mine with two different Xbox controllers.

Other Thoughts: After years of playing with a number of different controllers, I am sorry I didn't buy these earlier. No more Logitech for me.

1 out of 5 eggsShort Life

Pros: When it worked it was very responsive. Used with Pinnacle Game Profiler.

Cons: Lasted about 12 hours of game play. 90 days warranty is a joke.

Other Thoughts: Get with it Microsoft. What are you doing putting out a product that fails so easily.
