1 out of 5 eggsFlawed Execution

Pros: Fabulous form factor. fits so well in my lap. The trackball and buttons are nicely place for feet-up computing.

Cons: Trackball is about as accurate as a 10 year old wheel mouse that needs cleaning. PS/2 wires are too short to lean back and get my feet up.

Other Thoughts: I didn't spend much on this. When I did, I got something satisfactory. Probably not worth returning. I'll keep it for a spare keyboard..

4 out of 5 eggsOnly choice

Pros: Only PS2 mini keyboard with a trackball I could find.
I have it connected to a KVM via a CAT5 extender so a real PS2 keyeboard was required.
It Works and clears some desk space.

Cons: Expensive for the quality, no scroll, touchy trackball that requires two hands to click on anything since buttons are on left.

Other Thoughts: It should used for special purposes and not for a pimary keybard.
It does exactly what I needed it for.

1 out of 5 eggsSave your money

Pros: Very light and small. Nice to have the mouse integrated in the keyboard (when it works).

If you almost never use it, it might be ok as long as the track ball or mouse buttons don't stop working.

Cons: This keyboard is a poorly designed piece of junk and not worth your money.

The track ball is very sensitive to dust, etc and often won't work at all. It definitely is totally unusable in a dusty environment. To make matters worse, it is almost impossible to open the track ball up to clean it, which IMO, if you design a trackball that is this sensitive, it should at least be easy to clean.

The keys are way to sticky, you have to pound it to get it to type. Your hands will hurt if you have to type for more than a few minutes. This gets worse over time. After a few months, the mouse click buttons stopped working very well.

The mouse design itself is awful, putting the buttons on one side and the trackball on the other was a bad choice - if you are buying a small keyboard, chances are you sometimes need to use it with one hand. Having the mouse keys on the opposite side from the track-ball makes this impossible

Other Thoughts: I bought this keyboard to work with a PC that I carry around for demos and the keyboard has seen low use over about 14 month. It barely works now.

Everyone who has used this keyboard has commented to me that the trackball didn't work and having the mouse buttons on the opposite side from the track-ball was a bad design.

If I had paid ten bucks for this keyboard I would have given if maybe 4 stars, but for $40, it better work well and for a long time, this one does neither.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works.

Pros: It's the small size I wanted.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The keys have a clear tactile feel. I have no trouble with Windows XP Pro recognizing the trackball with no driver installations needed. I bought it because it was small and black. Interior decorating wise, it goes well with the PC hooked up to my TV - small, unobtrusive, sleek and no separate mouse cluttering up the space.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Compact Keyboard

Pros: The keyboard appears to be high quality/well made. I have a high end Logitech on another machine and the keys feel similar to the touch. As the other commenter indicated, the ball occasionally does not respond to smaller movements, particularly vertical movement. However, I noticed that it has a lot to do with the pressure you apply. Face it; it is not an optical mouse. I use it for the same thing (rack server keyboard) and after shopping around; I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Cons: Some keys are small but not too bad. At least there all there.

4 out of 5 eggsServer room keyboard

Pros: Perfect fit on a 19 inch rack shelf.

Cons: The trackball sticks sometimes.

Other Thoughts: The keys are smaller but not terribly uncomfortable. I use it in a server room, so it is used infrequently. Probably would not like this much if it was my primary keyboard.
