4 out of 5 eggsReal Keyboard

Pros: Well made.

Cons: Some keys need not be so narrow.

Other Thoughts: The LETTER keys measure EXACTLY the same size and spacing as the most standard keyboard, like a Keytronic or something. The feel is perfectly standard. This is the only kind of keyboard I can type on. HOWEVER, not one of these mini keyboard makers actually understands the true purpose of this kind of keyboard. The purpose is only to remove the numbers pad so there is not so much distance between the mouse and typing, AND have a numbers pad on the left side for the left hand so you don't have to lift your right hand off the mouse to enter numbers. Makes a lot of sense if anyone thinks about it and tries it. But the mini keyboard makers think the whole idea is to just shrink the keyboard as much as possible to save space. And as a result of that erroneous thinking, they make some of the function keys too narrow. Look at the product image and see it for yourself. But it's still good for typing. And I would so much like to give it five eggs for that alone, but I still have to take one egg off because the designers of this keyboard misunderstood its purpose. But again, this mini keyboard is as close as it comes to getting it right.

5 out of 5 eggsNice mini keyboard

Pros: Small sturdy keyboard. The keys have a nice solid feel to them.

Cons: It is not really a con but you have to be carefull when typing because of the smaller than normal keys.

Other Thoughts: I knew what I was getting when ordering this keyboard. We use the same keyboard at work to connect to the sander computers. I wanted a mini keyboard with great key response. I cannot stand keys with no feel to them.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for a rack

Pros: Small size fits on our rack shelf. Needed it to be a PS/2 for the KVM for our rack.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if it included a PS/2 to USB adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsgood server keyboard

Pros: Excellent keyboard for a server or computer where not a lot of typing is required. Saves tons of space, high quality construction, keys feel great.

Cons: Small, and would be cumbersome for a primary keyboard if you type frequently, or even chat.

Other Thoughts: If you need a small keyboard to cut down on deskspace on a secondary computer/server, then this is the keyboard for you.

3 out of 5 eggsToo cramped for me

Pros: - Space-saving design leaves more room on the desk for mousepad.

- Good tactile feel.

Cons: - Keys are too small and cramped for me, especially backspace and spacebar. I frequently mistype, so I had to return it.

Other Thoughts: I thought this keyboard would have normal key size and pitch, like a standard keyboard without the numeric keypad, but the keys are too narrow and cramped for me. I constantly mis-hit them. Most laptops have better key spacing.

It did free up a lot of space on the desk for my big mousepad, but I had to return it because typing was too difficult.
