SolidTek KB-730BU Black USB fullsize Keyboard with Touchpad built in as mouse, ACK-730 Touch pad with scroll function

Pros: Good layout and key response.

Cons: Maybe not a con for everyone but the touchpad is recessed a little deeper than I am used too with my laptop but not a big problem, the left/right curser buttons are also a tad further from the static pad than i am used too.
The scrolling feature does exist on this touchpad but you have to slide your finger on the extreme right edge of the pad for it to work, with big fingers this can be hard to do....

Other Thoughts: This is a pretty good option for what i am using it for. My setup is hooked up to a tv and i control everything from the recliner. I tried a keyboard and mouse but that just wasn't working. The keyboard is hooked up to a USB extender cable bought here on newegg, so cord length isn't an issue.

Pros: It's doing what I wanted: saving space and giving me a touchpad so I don't have to fiddle with a mouse.

Cons: Not crazy about the key arrangement on the number pad side of the board.

Wish it were more compact and the keyboard more standardized.

Other Thoughts: Needed this for a specialized, automation workstation that I'm building where a mouse wasn't feasible, and this looks like it will work.

Pros: Cheap, has touchpad, touchpad works.

Cons: Keyboard keys are very stiff. Returned it for an Addesso keyboard, hoping this one isn't the same way.

Pros: Integrated keyboard and touchpad convenient. Good keyboard feel.

Cons: I bought two of these, for two separate rigs, and they have both since ceased functioning. I would say they have lasted on the range of 6-12 months. That makes me unhappy.

Pros: lap friendly, nice firm keystroke, good layout, solid build.

Cons: touchpad is small

Pros: I made a mistake in my previous comment. The touchpad has scrolling capabilieties. There is a small sign in the corner indicating it.

Cons: The scrolling area on the touchpand is not clearly marked. But it's there.

Other Thoughts: Works ok with USB extension cord, now it can reach all the way to the jacuzzi.

Pros: Works right out of a box, just plug and play. I needed and extra keyboard with touchpad to use in the bed. You can use the touchpad with your thumb too! It has extra wrist space to comfortably type on the lap or pillow while sitting or lying down. Big enter key helps avoiding those backslash key typos normally in place. It’s quick to get used to. The layout is pretty good. BTW you can use it for troubleshooting in the server room, fist 19" rack drawer.

Cons: No scroll area on the touchpad.

Other Thoughts: Wish it had backlit keys.

Pros: What can I say. It's a compact keyboard and touchpad that works as I wanted. Size was perfect for what I needed and will actually end up buying a 2nd.

Cons: admittedly keys are a bit small, but as noted earlier, it's sufficient for it's purpose.

Other Thoughts: They're are certainly others available but at this price I cannot complain and would recommend it for anyone else.

Pros: Portability; Lap-compatible; Full keyboard, including numpad!

Cons: Smaller keys introduce 'some' typing errors; "Del" key is above the numpad; Touchpad accelerator a little faster than others

Other Thoughts: Our blades have a local I/O port on the front which allows the connection of USB I/O devices. We have a crash cart with a monitor and keyboard. The mouse has always been a problem, because when you're sitting in front of the rack with the keyboard in your lap, there's no place to "wave" a mouse. This keyboard worked and continues to work flawlessly out of the box. It has a few quirks (see Cons), but nothing that can't be overcome.

There are 3 blank keys in the lower left. Are they programmable? I'm not sure, nor care, but you might. The keyboard comes in a brown box, w/ no literature.

Pros: Good size, fit in to my Rack perfect while still have the number pad available when most mini keyboard don't

Cons: don't have one so far

Other Thoughts: Be great if they have it in USB.
