Other Thoughts: Not being able to use a Bluetooth(BT) device during an IBM/Microsoft ISA BIOS boot process is normal, expected behavior.

The device is not at fault, because BT devices cannot function, without the required OS BT protocol stack & driver installed and running.

A.F.I. and Google knows, NO ONE, has ever written a x86 Assembly Language protocol stack & driver for BT that could be implemented in an ISA BIOS.

A UEFI BIOS can get around this, IF a BT protocol stack & driver are installed into the UEFI BIOS. This is because UEFI is written in C instead of assembly language, and the standard BT software can simply be converted to the UEFI API.

Microsoft, Logitech and a few others, manufacture DUAL MODE Keyboards and Mice, that start off in a proprietary 2.4GHz USB mode, just like any cheapo wireless USB keyboard and/or mouse, and then switch the keyboard and/or mouse to BT when the proprietary Dual Mode adapter is initialilzed.

Lose the Dual Mode BT adapter, and lose BIOS functio

Pros: It's light, but well built and feels solid .It runs on two AAA batteries and has an off switch on the bottom to conserve battery life.

I've used this keyboard on a Linux based MythTV PC and on a Windows 7 XBMC PC. In both cases, setup was done via the operating system's native bluetooth support (no extra software/drivers installed) and was very straight forward.

Cons: The keyboard goes into a 'sleep mode' after sitting idle for several minutes. It can take anywhere from 10 to 20 seconds to wakeup, which is most annoying.

Other Thoughts: The F11 and F12 keys are only available by holding the 'fn' key, then tapping F9 or F10 respectively. The pageup, pagedown, home and end keys work the same way, using the 'fn' key and navigation arrow keys. This functionality isn't a problem for me, but might be aggravating for some, depending on your use for the keyboard.

Pros: Good compact size. Trackball mouse.

Cons: Keeps dropping connection. Everytime you close the lid on the laptop, you have to do the connection process from scratch: delete old blutooth item then add it again. Misses the point of wireless if you have to manually do it.

Pros: small size making it nice for an HTPC application.

Cons: Will not function during the boot process of your OS so you will not be able to log into your system, You will need to have a real keyboard to do that with! With respect to Jamie's comments about the keyboard not being able to function during the boot process. IT IS THE FAULT OF THE KEYBOARD! I have a Logitech keyboard and mouse and they both function during the boot process and they are both bluetooth!

Other Thoughts: I am sorry but I do not need to have two keyboards to use my PC a real one and this partly functional one that is very expensive. So in my opinion it is redundant and not worth the money and will be returned today!

Pros: Excellent product. I manufactured computer accessories and them at retail for 9 years. This is a great product. Includes USB bluetooth adapter in the box and a nice little cover for the keyboard. Nice touches.. Plugged everything in, paired the device and everything worked like a champ and as expected.
I don't have any problem with the small size or the track pad; but I like my tracking fast on my mouse.

Cons: It would be great if the keyboard was backlit... since I am a touch typer this isn't as big of a deal for me... but it woud be nice. Since the ' key is in an alternate place.

Occasionally drops a letter while typing. But not too bad... not sure if it is dropping or it is me not hitting the little keys as solidly as I should (could be either one).

Other Thoughts: I'd buy it again for my PC connected to my TV. This was all written with the keyboard and it is doing a great job.

Pros: SIZE: if you are looking for a tiny KB, this is it.
CONNECTIVITY: bluetooth, works in Linux no problem.
Aesthetics: black, stylish.
POINTER: includes trackpad.
WEIGHT: light.
KEYS: sturdy, responsive keys.

Cons: BODY: cheap shell detracts from the over-all experience.
BATTERY COVER: yeah, that'll be gone in a week.
MOUSE: either too sensitive, or needs calibration......
MOUSE BUTTONS: (see "BODY" comment above.)
LAYOUT: some button rearrangement, but that's got to be expected and accepted on a mini.

Other Thoughts: This is a great little keyboard for its purpose. Using it as a Mythbuntu remote control.

If you're looking for a remote control that can also be a KB & mouse, then buy it.

My only real gripe is the price to quality ratio.

Pros: it is very tiny and works good with both my laptop and newly built mediaPC. it pairs well with the Kingwin KBT-150M.

Pros: I needed a wireless keyboard/mouse combo for my HTPC. It is connected to my LCD monitor and a 47" LCD TV. This wireless combo allows me to configure things, browse the internet, read mail, etc from my couch.

I have this setup with a DLINK Bluetooth dongle (which was difficult to setup on Windows XP x64), but it works perfectly. I believe the signal stretches 30 feet, which is more than enough.

Very small. I put it in my coffee table's draw.

Cons: Touchpad and keys are small, but of course this is intended. The touchpad is very sensitive. It makes navigation difficult.

Other Thoughts: Great product for people with HTPC, although don't rely on this to be the primary keyboard and mouse.

Pros: Bluetooth, compact size for HTPC

Cons: Needs "on" light so you don't forget to switch it off when done; uses regular batteries which could get expensive - others have recharging dock stations; build quality is suspect and feels like a FAR keyboard - sorry but for $80 I'd like to have some substance to it; mouse pad is small with hard to hit left/right buttons, and mouse jumps during use - you'll be able to do what you want on the screen, but it's not a smooth operation like on a laptop or wired mouse pad.

Other Thoughts: I would personally look elsewhere or spend some extra money for the logitech. This keyboard just isn't worth it for $80, but the idea is right for a small HTPC system

Pros: Very compact - simple to set up in both Linux and Windows.

Cons: Touchpad utilities are not included on the driver CD and a web search doesn't bring up anything. I do know that under Linux Synaptics utilities won't work and under Windows I have a set of Alps Glidepoint utilities I'm getting ready to test. Solidtek's website currently doesn't list the product or have any place I can find to download drivers. Without touchpad utilities it's not possible to adjust trackpad sensitivity (I think it's a little too sensitive) or do any advanced trackpad stuff. It's not a dealbreaker for me but is something to be aware of.

Other Thoughts: Great little keyboard if I can get the touchpad configured.
