Good core features, questionable extras
- Pros: 10 simultaneous button presses at once. Low latency. keys are quiet, light, and only travel a small distance with each press. It has macro buttons, they are easy to program and do what they are supposed to do.
- Cons: Onboard earphone port and microphone ports have noticeable buzzing. Frequency of the buzz changes with the pulsing of the keyboards LEDs. Poorly wired. Tech support has been bad. When their steps didn't work, Google showed me the right way to do things.
- Other Thoughts: The manual I got didn't explain that version 2.0 or later drivers and firmware were necessary to get all the features. Firmware update was buggy as hell. Had to try 3 different comps before one would complete the process.
50/50?
- Pros: OK this keyboard is amazing... there is a learning curve for the different type of keys... but the keys themselves are great. It's comfortable well built, quality, and the features ROCK.
It seems that it's either a hit or miss with this product. I bought it at circuit city's website for pick up for 36 dollars LOL bargain if you ask me.
- Cons: I wish all of the keys were lit... but it really doesn't bother me...
- Other Thoughts: for 99 dollars I wouldnt have bought it... but I got a good deal and I am well satisfied. going from a 2003 dell keyboard... it's nice...
