3 out of 5 eggsDecent Budget Keyboard

Pros: Decent keys, fast response, slick and flat keys.

Cons: No back light on keys, being no back lights you would think at least they would put white letters on keys. They put black letters on black keys. So know how to type.

Other Thoughts: As long as you know how to type well its a decent budget keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Learning Keyboard

Pros: I bought this keyboard wanting to learn how to type better ( after not being taught in school) and with the black keys it made me learn how to.

Cons: now that i know how to type some of the functions that some of the other razer keyboards have would be nice

5 out of 5 eggsRazer Keyboard

Pros: Low profile is very nice for games with lots of hotkey use. Also nice for typing sort of.

Makes you get good at typing, because you can't see the keys.

Cons: At first I bought this keyboard to get better at typing, which I am, but sometimes, I wish I could see the symbols.

Other Thoughts: If you good at typing and don't look at the keyboard and want to keep it that way its a good buy, however if you trying to force yourself to get good at typing this is a truly hard way of learning cause you will go crazy when you can't find that certain key, especially if time matters.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid keyboard

Pros: Cheap and sturdy feel. Doesn't feel flimsy like some people say. Keys are dark but if you are trying to improve your typing (like me) then that is simply an added bonus. Media keys are useful, but it took me a while to figure out that they aren't touch, you have to actually press :P Overall, good keyboard for beginning gamers, but if you aren't trying to improve your typing then go for the silver edition.

Cons: Only thing that downloaded was the driver, no control panel or anything, so I don't know how to add macros. But it's not a huge deal since I'm not used to them anyway, so I'm not missing out.

Other Thoughts: Has a sleek overall finish that only a black on black keyboard can give you. Entry level gamers should consider, but higher level gamers should probably pass.

4 out of 5 eggsBang for the Buck

Pros: • Macros
• Easy to make macros
• Very sturdy
• Media Keys

Cons: • Lags when spamming huge macros
• The paper that masks over the media buttons ripped when I pressed the Razer logo
• Attracts a lot of dust
• There is a character limit when making macros (although I think this applies to every razer keyboard)

Other Thoughts: Overall very sturdy keyboard and good buy. "You get what you buy" If you are on a budget and if possible, try to spend $20-30 more and get a lycosa, for the backlight and touchpanel media keys. The arctosa has cheap media buttons you have to exert force to use.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent starting gaming keyboard

Pros: Mechanically sound. Easy to install. Works like it should with no issues.

Cons: No backlight. I knew it had no backlight when I ordered it so that is fine, but it also has barely visible letters on the keys like it should have a backlight but doesn't.

Not a big deal because I don't look at the keyboard much when I type anyhow, but still annoying that the key are black and the letters are black as well.

Other Thoughts: If I had more to spend I definitely would have gotten a backlit keyboard but for the price this keyboard is solid.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat board

Pros: For the price, its a good board, and its a Razer. I wanted it to light up, but when you know where keys are on a board the lights a sorta pointless. :)

Cons: I wish it had come with a Audio and Mic jack built into it. Like alot of razer boards, but its no biggy.

3 out of 5 eggsNot quite enough info

Pros: Razer brand, accurate, comfortable, low profile

Cons: Not back lit, impossible to see the keys if you are not good at typing. Picture shows back lit but the keyboard itself is not. Media controls a rubbish.

Other Thoughts: Overall good keyboard. Not entirely worth the price, mainly because of black on black style

5 out of 5 eggsStylish and Fairly Quiet Non-Mechanical Keyboard

Pros: I had read that mechanical keyboards were fairly noisy, so I checked this out when switching to desktop.

For one, it matches my Razer mouse/mouse mat

Call me a fanboy, but it looks great!

There are three noticeable LEDs for the locks, and some media keys if you need to mute in a hurry or turn down the volume without disturbing the GF during a movie...Skip scenes and play/pause/stop too

Small modern enter key, glossy surround, matte palm rest

Not too loud!

Fairly Priced

Cons: I'm not sure

Other Thoughts: I'd have gotten mechanical, but the keys here pop off and pop on with simplicity, if you try too, and it can be operated quietly if you can't use a touchscreen in the moment. Plus it looks great!
