4 out of 5 eggsOk I Guess

Pros: Easy set up, not mandatory to install anything, Sweet lights

Cons: None really, unless you got fairly large hands this will make you adjust your thumb in a uncomfortable way for the space and joy stick.

Other Thoughts: This is a great item, but i have small hand apparently to use this comfortably. My hand would get tired from reaching the space button and joy stick but overall performance was perfect. Nothing really bad to say about it.

-Razer's best product , Very durable sturdy built
-Good Software
-Greatly improves your game performance
-Coming from a MMORPG standpoint this is a must have!

Cons: None really
- If your not a daily gamer or hardcore (2 weeks for me) it will take some time to get used to it but its worth it.

4 out of 5 eggsworth it!

Pros: Great switching of profiles and use of 16 buttons. Thumb control of the cursor keys is nice. Well worth the price for one hand and mouse games like WOW and Diablo 3.

Cons: Hand grip is solid built where it can not be extended for larger handed people. Can cause hand cramps if you keep your hand in a specific position. Avoid long term use if you have carpal tunnel.

4 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: does what i need it to do, multiple profiles, easy customization, analog control, buttons light up blue.

Cons: paint on keys coming off (1 year and a few days since ive had this, using it for hours a day for at least 9 months straight). you cant change the profiles on the keypad itself you need to use the program on your pc to change the profile. the wrist support is horrible because it encourages carpal tunnel syndrome. one reason why im purchasing logitechs g13 now.. (i have to wear a wrist brace to sleep because of the mild carpal tunnel syndrome i have). not all of the buttons are easy to reach with your hand like the lower keys. it needs to have more weight because it moves around a lot on my desk.

Other Thoughts: there is a new version of Razer's gaming keypad but it just doesnt look like its worth it. logitech's g13 looks like the best choice so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Processor

Pros: Super fast, great performance, stays cool with no problem!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've always gone the intel route with my computers but after seeing this processor while putting together a new gaming rig I had to try it out. It's an amazing processor and after this experience, I may never use intel again. AMD has the best performance per dollar! Geekbench 4-core blowfish score is 19,000+ and the performance is simply amazing. Especially for the low cost! I would recommend this processor to anyone!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product!

Pros: I LOVE the feel and the button positioning of this game pad. Very comfortable for extended play.

Cons: Minus one egg for taking out the onboard memory from the original and selling for the same price of what it replaced.

Other Thoughts: Started using it from the original black/grey/orange Belkin N52, then bought a 52TE after I wore that one out. Then kids spilled coke on the N52TE and bought this one, love it almost as much as the N52TE minus the fact they took out the onboard memory.

4 out of 5 eggsMostly Awesome

Pros: Much more comfortable than the Logitech G13, which was too big for my hands.
Every key is programmable
On-the-fly profile switching
Stays in place during gaming sessions
Braided cord is a plus

Cons: Feels flimsy (it's proven to be quite durable, but it still feels cheaply made)
Buttons get stuck way more often than I'd really like
Razer software can be a total PITA

1 out of 5 eggsRazer still charges a premium, but the quality has gone down

Pros: Technically it's still almost as good as the old Belkin N52 predecessor, if you liked that. The space bar button can be a bit finicky at times though (it wasn't on the N52), you have to press it on this Razer Nostromo version a bit more 'accurately' or else it doesn't register sometimes.

Cons: Poor build quality. Paint chips off the keys just from skin on the fingers rubbing against them. Light died out.

Other Thoughts: Having bought Razer products over the years, 4 actually with this, I feel qualified to speak to the quality of their products.

First there was my original Deathadder mouse, the Deathadder 1800 DPI. Great mouseOne of the best of its time considering the market then. The first one had the left button go out, well, sort of, it's just I need to click it hard and in a certain area to make it register a click. That was unbearable, but the mouse lasted about 6 months and it was good enough that I got another. The gamble was worth it, that deathadder 1800DPI still works to this day, even though I rarely use it. I've since replaced it with Roccat's latest high-end offering as my primary FPS mouse, mainly because of my frustration with the Nostromo, and because my Roccat is in my opinion superior technically and build-quality wise. Read on.

Then, the Razer Naga Molten. No problems! But I rarely use it unless I'm playing MMOs. Guildmates of mine personally reported how their Naga's died, and then linked a thread on ventrilo with how the Naga is plagued with problems and lot of people have had to return theirs.

Razer seems like the Las Vegas of gaming peripherals; you win sometimes, just sometimes.

Then comes this Nostromo. I only bought it because for 6 years I used and abused my Belkin N52 on a daily basis. I thought, OK, fine, Razor picked up that product line and re-badged it, hopefully didn't change much at all as far as construction, materials, build quality goes. It looks a bit nicer with the lighting and paint scheme anyway.

How wrong was I. Within a month of having this thing, the paint was coming off key 8 and 9. Having had it about 8-9 months now, the paint is at least 50% gone on keys 8 and 9, and at least 25% gone on keys 10 and 14. The paint on the other keys is fully intact.

I would try to take their side for a minute and think "maybe it was my fingernails on my index finger? Well, for one, I always keep my nails short being a piano player, I clip them as soon as there is only a little bit, and for two, the paint is not chipping from the top are of the key down, which is where the nail would make contact, it's instead chipping from the middle out, where the meat of the fingertip makes contact and consistent rubbing. Three, it's obviously not just my index finger, because it's also the 8 key, which would be S playing WASD on a keyboard, and that's always the middle finger, and as I typed this, I tried to see if there was any chance my nail would make contact with that key when pressing it, even frantically like there is quick action. No, not a chance.

Conclusion? Poor quality job on the paint. It falls off and looks like I buy cheap junk when people come over.

Another problem with Razer is their cheap software contracting. If I try to run macros with two of their products, they conflict. Google for that, it's well spoken of.

To close, I'd have give 2 stars if it were just the paint, but he lighting completely die

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: upgraded from an original N50 by Belkin. I don't use all the buttons, i mean, there are just so many. Software is pretty simple, and mine shipped with the latest firmware.

Cons: buttons have to be pressed all the way to register, so every now and then a stroke won't get through.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for starcraft 2, WoW and LoL

Pros: Pros:
>Easily Adjusted.
>Great feeling buttons (for that relaxation feel of pressing)
>Analog is great for 3rd person viewing and when running in games!
>The Multi output sets make it great for Combat and easier to hotkey.
>Price was good for the product! :-)

Cons: Cons:
Only one really; If you have small hands, this may be a bit difficult getting use to. But remember you can always take of the palm rest to get a much, much, much better reach!

Other Thoughts: If you have not used a mouse pad before, just take into consideration it will take a little time to get use to. But since the Nostromo is one of the first-game oriented mouse pads, this is also a great one to start out on!
I do strongly suggest to get this if you want to make gaming a little bit easier!
And the best part; you can have up to 8 sets and I believe 8 macros? (if you use them).

Otherwise, worth it! Hope you enjoy if you do get it.
