2 out of 5 eggs EHH...?

Pros: Great feel, red, fully mechanical.

Cons: Well... I've owned this for about a year and I must say the backlight is very unreliable. I browsed the forums about it and it seems to be pretty common that the backlight dims out and tends to flicker. The only solution I found was that you have to send it in to razer because its not a part that can be fixed easily at all.

The only other cons I can think of is there were some versions of the synapse 2 software for the keyboard that were kind of buggy.

Cost is very high on this for the unreliable backlight. the red backlight is the whole reason I got this thing...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: Nice tactile feedback. Love the sound cherry blues make. LED backlighting is amazing. Also, unlike the regular BlackWidow or the BlackWidow Ultimate, this one does NOT leave fingerprints and attract dust. I suppose it's because of the film that covers the Dragon Age II designs. This is the main reason I bought this keyboard. I had the regular BlackWidow, and I could not deal with fingerprints and dust. Returned it after a day of use.

If you have any other questions or want to see certain pictures, feel free to email me.

Cons: I have yet to find one. I know some people have been reporting that their keys get stuck, keys stop working, or the board is messed up causing two buttons to be pressed when only pressing one. This is true with the first generation Dragon Age II keyboards, but the second gen ones are much much better.

Other Thoughts: Get this if 1.) You want a cheap mech keyboard with macros. 2.) You want a kb that lights up red <3 3.) You want a free item for Dragon Age II (?).

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome...but.

Pros: I really like this keyboard, its easy to use, easy to configure.

Cons: Only problem i have with the keyboard is that with only two months use, the shift key on the right hand side no longer works... Reading up online, this is something that others have experienced as well... With the amount of money spent to purchase the keyboard, keys randomly going out is a con...

Other Thoughts: still love the razer keyboard... i'm going to try to purchase a different version, hopefully without keys that randomly go out1

5 out of 5 eggsFinally Made the Jump

Pros: Mechanical, macro keys, individual red leds on each key, clicking sound when typing. DA2 design seems to hide fingerprints. Feels amazing to type on. Red leds match my computer better than the other versions of this keyboard.

Cons: Maybe pricey if not bought on sale.

Other Thoughts: I was afraid to purchase a Black Widow Ultimate keyboard because of bad reviews about space bar hanging up on the ALT key and poor quality issues. I saw this on sale for about $95 and free shipping at Newegg and decided to make the jump and give it a shot. I don't know if it's because this is a "version2" or something and updated from the originals, but I have had zero problems with this keyboard. The shiny finish on the board doesn't show fingerprints as I expected, it's great for gaming, very heavy so it doesn't slide around on my desk, and it sits at a very comfortable angle. The Logitech G110 would sit so flat on my desk I had to prop it up with little boxes on the corners. I'm not sorry I bought this board. It's awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsMechanical Keyboard = Winning

Pros: - Can't go back to non-mechanical after
- Extremely good response
- Click Noise sounds good
- Individually lit LED's for each key
- Macros are amazing
- Good Firmware / Driver
- Lighting Control

Cons: - Click noise is too loud, cherry brown (ultimate stealth) might suite users better.
- Dragon Age 2 Logo and Dudes Face
- Volume Keyboard Control doesn't work all the time, especially in-game.
- Num-lock, Cap-lock, Scroll-lock LED's aren't as bright.

Other Thoughts: 1 - Bought because it was the only good motherboard i could find that glowed red for decent cost.

2. Was priced at $99.99 Free Shipping

3. Matched the Razer Mamba 4G (16,000,000 Colors) that i use with Red Lighting, and White Phantom Case, Fully modded with 5mm and 3mm ultra bright 5000 MCD Led's.

4. Only get this on sale, or if you need the red led's to match something else. It's not worth the cost @ $139.99.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: -Great Click Sound
-Faster for typing and games
-Can't go back to standard keyboards after switching to mechanical
-1000mhz polling rate
-Red LED's (BRIGHT!!)

Love the keyboard "FN" Key controls. Macros are great to use to remember login and password information for those lazy like me. ( i dont play mmorpg, i buy keyboards with macros to store my logins)

Cons: -USB Rope is pretty thick
-USB & Mic/sound port might not be needed for some people

Other Thoughts: Solid & Heavy Build.

Luckily mine wasn't DOA and didn't have the shift key issue where it would hit the Caps lock.

5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING! you will never go back to rubber dome

Pros: well to start off its freaking MECHANICAL! if you have ever typed on cherry blue switches you know how amazing it is
the backlighting is even and bright and has a very red color somtimes in videos it looks pink or orange buts in real life it is very red very clicky and responsive would never go back to a rubber dome after using it

Cons: bit a learnign curve to get used to touch typing kinda style also the keys are very sensetive but once you get used to it you feel like a master of typing when you use it
(i literally would ramble on in the address bar just because i wanted to type on it)
is a tad on the loud side i have a nother mechanical keyboard that is totally silent so if i need to be quiet il usually use that one

Other Thoughts: this is a very nice keyboard and yes it is very expensive but i think its worth every cent of it

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Gaming Keyboard

Pros: THe mechanical keys are just perfect IMO. A little louder than I thought they would be, but what do you expect from a sturdy mechanical keyboard. The macros are positioned nicely also. I like how they are a little closer to my WASD keys than on other keyboards. It makes them easier to access for me. It has a lot more features than I was expecting, and I have not tried them all yet, but I absolutely love the response time. After using these mechanical keyboards for so long, I really do hate the standard keyboard now.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE THE FIRMWARE AND DRIVER SOFTWARE!!! I was experiencing many of the lighting issues and other problems people were noticing at first. I went online to the razer website and downloaded the DRIVER AND FIRMWARE updates. Installed them, and issues were all fixed. So if you purchase any of the razer Blackwidows, make sure to get the latest firmware and drivers for proper use.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The only reason I bought this version is so that it would match my computer. The blue would have thrown it off.

Cons: For some it says Dragon Age. I just bought it because it was red and matched my computer better.
