4 out of 5 eggsSolid gaming keyboard

Pros: Love the tactile response (clicky-ness) for gaming, green backlight on low setting is perfect IMO, and the macro buttons are handy.

Cons: It tends to get a lot of updates, which can be annoying to keep up with, and occasionally one will have a tiny glitch in it, but they're good about fixing it quickly with the next update.

Other Thoughts: After using this keyboard for a while and seeing some that friends have, I like the design where keyboards have 6 macro buttons that are grouped into three clusters of 2 because it's easier to feel exactly which one you're touching without looking than 5 keys that are all grouped together like this one has. Not huge, but still worth mentioning.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks Great.... Hopefully it stays that way

Pros: So far the keyboard works great. Types fantastic and responsive. Looks great. Easy to set up macros and program keys.

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: Fingers crossed it stays working after the razor mouse i got to go with it died in just over a month almost damaging my keyboard and computer due to the power in the plug shorting out. I also will not ever give razor my money again after their terrible customer service. I utilized their online customer service page and waited for three weeks with no response. I then called there CS phone number with my case number ready in hand, the rep was at least pleasant. He sent me an email to fill out the info and send back to then get my RMA. waited a week for that i got an email saying "Thank you for the information" and thats all. next email I received days later
"Hi there,
Thank you for contacting Razer. We have escalated your issue to a specialist who will personally handle your case and get back to you shortly. While most escalations are answered within one to two business days or less, some escalations can take a bit longer due to the nature of the escalation and/or during peak customer demand. We appreciate your patience.
Thank you for using Razer and have a nice day!!!

Best Regards,

Razer Support Team "

Then a couple more days later I finally get my RMA number and shipping info to find that i need to pay to ship it to them (who knows when i will ever see the mouse agian at this point). For a product that easily could have destroyed my computer or even started a fire if i was not home to catch it immediately, this is terrible service. I should have never attempted to get anything other than Logitech.

1 out of 5 eggsdoesn't work after 8 months

Pros: work for 8 months.

Cons: I had 20 years computer experience.
This is the first time that I see the keyboard only last less than a year.
For such expensive keyboard, I hope it can last at least 3 years.

Other Thoughts: I will never buy they product anymore.

5 out of 5 eggsRazer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 MX Blue Switch

Pros: Just bought my very 1st Mechanical Gaming Keyboard the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Elite. And YES! Response to every game i played (Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and Battlefield) is awesome. Its been a week since i started using this keyboard and it is feeling great. Build quality is next to none and the design is such a joy to look at. I can now work or play even when the lights are off. Lighting is just crisp and clean. Layout is standard keyboard layout but with the additional of 5 Macro Keys. The macro Keys actually is very fun to use. Ive been using it on my Autocad Program for easier commands and for MMO games for faster spell casting. Also present are Media Keys. Great way to easily access my songs. The finish for the keyboard is a Black Matte finish. Contrasts well with the Neon Green Back-light of the keyboard.
The Razer Synapse 2.0 is also a plus factor with the Keyboard. It instantly loads your preferred setting to any other PC/Laptops with Razer Synapse. Just a log in away from your own account.
My verdict is, dont hesitate in buying the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Elite

Cons: My only concern with the Keyboard is the Weight. Carrying it is heavy. And if you are going to lan party's its really heavy and with the CPU.
The Matte Finish is also kinda prone to fingerprints and oil. Also there is only 2 lighting mode. Pulsate and Steady. So if you want a more diverse lighting option, This is not it.

Other than that, The Razer Blackwidow Ultimate is great.

Other Thoughts: If you are into gaming and typing, the Razer Black Widow Ultimate is the keyboard for you

4 out of 5 eggsBeast

Pros: Cherry MX Blue is perfect for those that need tactile feedback. This is the 2013 model keyboard.

Cons: Back lighting is only green. No option to change it.

Other Thoughts: Great keyboard. I love it. If only it was built with the extra keys like the Anansi.

5 out of 5 eggslove this keyboard

Pros: read the description. everything about this keyboard is great.
I bought this keyboard by mistake at first. I had meant to order the razer keyboard with the little touchscreen panel on the right, but I guess I was in a rush and miss clicked and ordered this one. I love it.
buy it.

Cons: none that I can think of.
kind of wish it had more backlight colors than just green. but then again.. you wont care after using it.
buy it.

Other Thoughts: I have had this keyboard for over a year, and I am now buying my second one. it turns out the keyboard is only 80% crazy girlfriend proof.. she got pretty mad at me and when was not home tried to break the keyboard in half. I am currently writing this on that keyboard. lol while the keyboard looks completely fine she must have damaged the internal components because the keyboard isn't pick up when I press the 'shift' keys, 'x', 'c', and a unless I press down pretty hard. buy it and you will love it.
