RAZER Marauder StarCraft II Heart of the Swarm RZ03-00440100-R3M2 Black USB Wired Gaming Keyboard

Pros: The Marauder has some cool features: multiple colors that transition in game when playing SC2, and smooth keys feel nice.

Cons: Longer buttons must be pressed in the middle to bottom out, this causes a delay in response due to required attention in game or even typing. Though it is branded a SC2 keyboard, and some good players use it, milliseconds add up, and I think it really isn't for RTS gaming.

Pros: Everything except the below. It looks great, matches everything in my PC, and has a nice tactile feedback.

Cons: The color of the lights on this keyboard can be configured with a utility, and in-game playing Starcraft the lights change color in response to in-game events. Therefore, the drivers include software to change the colors of the lights.

...but there is no interface or API to create custom events for this such as a light change on schedule by time of day or as a notification of new email. This is only a con because this keyboard is one software feature away from being something truly amazing.

Pros: I can go on forever for the pros of this keyboard i just want to start off by saying I love the design. I'm not a fan of the keyboards with the flat keys so thank you razor for providing a keyboard for me. The color of the keyboard can be changed and if you actually play StarCraft II this keyboard is quite unique. You can set it up to keep track of your APM by the color of the keys so you know if your doing great or moving too slow. Also you can set alerts so if your under attack or if a worker spawns ect you can have your keyboard blink 1-5 times to alert you of what event has happened. You can color code this as well makes it quite nice if you play the Zerg to keep track of your larva spawns. Very compact and flashy for a keyboard so doesn't take up desk space and looks very attractive design wise. You can also use the software to make profiles for the keyboard and also set up macros very easy to install.

All in all thoroughly impressed with this keyboard thus far!

Cons: The only con I have for this beautiful device is even tho i enjoy the compactness, the arrow keys are shared with the numeric keypad so if num lock is on and your typing and you try and use the arrow key to correct an error you will enter random numbers. But that's for office use so if your using it for solely gaming then it's amazing.

Other Thoughts: Keyboard is more than i could ask for the delivery was speedy and fast. Arrived a day before determined delivery time the box was a little dented that this keyboard and my razor headset came in. But still works amazing no issues what so ever, extremely happy i bought this keyboard well worth the money. I know i haven't had it long but i just wanted to get the word out to the cautious buyers that the product exceeds my expectations and brings me even closer with razor products great job Razor keep is up
