5 out of 5 eggsOver a year and still going strong!

Pros: -Sturdy.
-No ghosting.
-Beautifully backlit.
-Built in Game mode.
-Programmable keys.
-So many levels of brightness.
-Clickiness isn't obnoxiously loud.
-USB pass through + audio/mic jacks.
-While gaming keys respond extremely fast.
-Keys make typing and gaming much more enjoyable.
-Very well built and just a solid keyboard overall.

Cons: -Zero.

Other Thoughts: By now I've had this keyboard just about a week over a year. I got it when it first came out. I wasn't really sure if spending so much money on a keyboard would be worth it but in the end it was worth it. My ratio in most of my games went up after getting Blackwidow Ultimate.
I'd definitely recommend this keyboard to any hardcore gamer out there.

2 out of 5 eggsCould be great...

Pros: -Great Appearance
-Solid Keystrokes
-Good Backlight

Cons: -Bad Quality
-Cheap Materials

Other Thoughts: I bought the 2013 BlackWidow and owned it for a year, then the "W" and "D" keys stopped working completely. I Attempted to re-solder the switches but the cheap materials gave me too much trouble.

Bought the 2014 version of the BlackWidow(Current Version) thinking "This one will be better quality! They had to improve over that last one." I was proved wrong in under a month, the control key broke right off the switch when i was copy/pasting. Luckily, the warranty had me covered and I got another because i couldn't trade it for a Logitech.

The third one broke after 3 months. This time it was the enter key when I was spamming an arma 3 lobby. I'm on my fourth one thanks to the warranty. When the warranty wears out i'll never buy a razer product again.

It's a great keyboard if you don't like using it for anything! Beauty comes at a price.

2 out of 5 eggs2 failed keyboards in 4 yrs

Pros: Looks great, love the "mechanical sound"

Cons: Have had 2 fail. Razer customer support is slow and not helpful

Other Thoughts: One the backlit key went out, still functional, but looked terrible. The other, I had one particular key, that when you pressed it, it would add 2-3 extra of that letter. I pressed the "o" key 10 times and got 16 of them on the screen. These aren't huge deals, but for the money it should last more than a year.

2 out of 5 eggsQuestionable Build Quality and QA

Pros: Feels Sturdy
Looks good
Braided Cables Are Nice
Love the Noise/Feel of Keys

Cons: Holds fingerprints/grease easily
Attracts/Holds Dust on Side of keys Easily
Left SHIFT key Non-Responsive on Day 32
Right Leg Snapped While Using Number Pad
Green a Bit Too Bright (Should have Gotten Blue)

Other Thoughts: Overall, I like the keyboard, however I am extremely disappointed that the Shift key stopped working after barely 30 days. I'm going to try support, but from feedback here and other places, I'm better off holding my breath. It's a joke when my $10 keyboard from 12yrs ago works great, but I can't get decent support for the 45 day old $100 keyboard!

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible Customer Service, okay quality

Pros: Mechanical
When it works, it works well
New switches are alright, although i'd prefer something that is proprietary.

Cons: After 2 months, my D key stared becoming un-responsive or double tapping
When i received the keyboard, the / ? key didn't work until i slammed on it really hard.
The keyboard material holds onto grease really well (even if your hands are clean)
Customer support is garbage

Other Thoughts: I can't believe i spent any amount of money on this trash. As stated in the cons above, my D key became unresponsive, or when it did respond, it would press 2 or 3 times. It was seriously irritating especially when playing CS:GO. It took me nearly 2 weeks (11 days to be exact) to finally get through their bullcrap customer service. It was always at least 2 days between replies from them. Then the guy i was talking to from customer service didn't give me the shipping label he was supposed to, so it was another 2 days for that. I finally got my keyboard after 1 month and 1 week (that's counting the 11 days of "customer service"), and it cost me $31.12. Seriously.... Now, when i open it, it didn't even come in the retail box (which i sent mine back to them in). All that it was packed in was packing paper and bubble wrap. But they keyboard was there, so yay. I get really excited and get ready to plug it in, when i notice hair under one of the keys. I popped the key off carefully, and noticed there was all sorts of dirt and hair under there. Then i looked up towards the Esc key, and there was a mark from something spilled on it... I tested it out writing up this review, and i've noticed that my E, R, and T keys are all sticking sometimes as i type (they don't repeatedly press, they just take an extra half a second to come back up) which now has really ticked me off.

TL;DR, customer support sucks, they new switches suck (random keys will stop working or barely work) and if you go through the pain of doing an "exchange", you'll get a refurb. Don't get this keyboard, the new 2014 series sucks, and so does everything else about them. Go with a Logitech. When this one fails me, that's what i'm headed for. Their customer support is phenomenal.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat Murder Weapon

Pros: Sturdy and heavy! Rugged combat construction would not make it out of place in a miltiary field environment (with the backlighting made red or turned off).

Cons: Keys are actually very small and close together. Having big hands, I was constantly correcting my typing - fat-fingering the caps lock every time I tried to turn left. Keys are very heavy to click making you extremely slow when gaming. This heavy clicking also makes it loud enough your TS friends know exactly how you're doing, as well as you real life neighbors.

Other Thoughts: The Deathstalker, at half the price, is a superior piece of machinery for gaming - especially for us big and tall folk that have families that like to sleep at night.
