Logitech invites you to say hello to gaming excitement with the G11 gaming keyboard. This keyboard went big, and did so with style. With a massive twenty-nine function keys, it integrates a macro key with eighteen G keys to allow on-the-fly programming while still in the game. It also features a unique, but so necessary, off switch for the window key so you will never again be ejected from a game at the worse possible moment.

The 104 keys nestled in the center are where you'd expect, but all keys feature three levels of back glow to make light night gaming sessions that much better. Its time to go to the next level!

  • newegg Illuminated Characters These illuminated key caps offer incredible visibility in both bright and low-light conditions. The 3-level adjustable backlighting makes even pitch-dark operation available possible without additional illumination.
  • newegg 18 Fully Programmable G Keys Execute complex macros with a single press of one of the 18 fully programmable G keys.
  • newegg Media Keys With the multimedia hot keys, control the volume, play back or pause music or videos at the touch of a button.
  • newegg Cable-Routing Channels Route mouse, headset, or other cables under the keyboard. This handy feature keeps your desktop looking perfectly tidy and organized!

1 out of 5 eggsLousy, Noisy, Sticky, Unimaginative Keyboard

Pros: Nice, blue backlight.

Cons: Keys are very stiff and noisy. Does not fit my hand well. I noticed if I go into a typing fury, my hands start to move just a bit and I start to fat-finger the neighboring keys like there is no tomorrow. Because Logitech has never seemed to make any ergonomic keyboards, and this is no exception. I find it a pain in the behind to type with this keyboard and with any other Logitech keyboards I have had. Because the keys are stiff, I often light-strike. Also, some of the keys are coming sticky, which means extra force is required to make sure you strike the proper key. The company is largely un-innovative. If you check their website, it's basically the same products year after year. That being said, this will likely be the last Logitech product I ever own.

Other Thoughts: I have never used the gaming keys on the far left (G1 to G18). The keyboard is rather long in width, so expect a bit of a reach to get to your mouse. Very un-ergonomic. Overall disappointed with many Logitech products.

Save yourself a bunch of dough and don't buy a Logitech. Buy a Kinesis Freestyle 2 instead. It's a bit pricy, but will worth the money. It over comes all the short-comings of this keyboard. When mine arrives, this will quickly go into the trash bin.

5 out of 5 eggsClosing in on 5 Years

Pros: I bought this Keyboard for myself as an early bday present and i Absolutely love it. Never had an issue, easy to use and its logitech

I also wanted a keyboard with the ability to control my music player from my pc. this was huge since im a gamer and hated to alt tab.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I remember debating whether to get the G-15 or this one and reason why i decided to go with the 11 was for the blue led's

5 out of 5 eggsAfter 4 years, still great.

Pros: I've owned this keyboard for over 4 years. All the lighting still works, the lettering is still there, and all the keys work. I've pulled out the keys several times to clean out from underneath the keys, and popped them back in, still working fine.

Cons: This is a fat keyboard. Make sure if you have a keyboard tray, it fits.

Other Thoughts: The wrist-rester thing that clips on at the front has two prongs that attach to the keyboard. One of them broke, but that was after 2 years of taking it on and off. It still works, the side just comes out some times and I have to move it back into place.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Keyboard

Pros: 18 programmable G keys with 3 modes for a total of 54 macro keys per profile and an in-game macro recorder

the included profile manager works amazingly, lets you record keystrokes, macros, or use pre-determined macros for select games, it even automatically selects the right profile depending whihc program is running (pretty standard, but my old one didnt)

3-way changeable lighting for the keys, high/low/off

awesome media controls let you pause/play/skip/rewind with the media player minimized and hidden away (something that seemed to disappear for quite a while there)

Cons: the buttons feel a bit more like some of the older style keyboards, I was used to the newer sleek ones where you barely touch the buttons, these ones have to actually be pushed down, but I got used to it within a day or two

Other Thoughts: perfect score 10/10

anybody who wants a gaming keyboard but doesn't want to shell out the extra money for the g15, this keyboard is a must-have. also, for however much less it is than the g15, it has more macro buttons.

4 out of 5 eggsLove It! But....

Pros: This Keyboard is great! The Keys are the right all the right size. More than enough buttons for me, and I love the Switch at the top that turns off the Windows Key.

Cons: I'm not sure if it is just my keyboard, but the left shift button is sometimes difficult to push. The first time I use it on any given day, it is pretty hard to push. As I use it more, it seems to soften up. That is my only problem with it

4 out of 5 eggsnice keyboard

Pros: 15 G keys that you can program to do anything you want.
the ability to turn off the LED lights.
very nice key responce.

Cons: no in-game macro recorder, which would have been really nice but logitech wants you to buy the G19 for that.
if you plug your mouse and a USB stick into the 2 USB ports on the keyboard you may come up with a power surge error on the usb port on the mobo...something which sucks but other than that this keyboard is awesome.

Other Thoughts: i bought one of these for myself about a week ago and then one for a friend about a month ago and both are running like a champ. i would defiantly buy another one of these

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The keyboard is simply AMAZING!
The macro keys are very useful in games. You can also program the keys to open programs or do other things.

Cons: This keyboard is bigger than your average keyboard, so if your desk is too small, this might not fit.

Other Thoughts: If you are a gamer, then get this keyboard for sure.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than Microsoft.

Pros: It's a Logitech device, usually that's enough to justify a purchase in my experience. Accurate keys that that give good feedback, very quiet, understated glow at night, macro keys are actually kind of useful as I experiment with them.

Cons: Fairly large on my desk, I'm fairly sure the layout could have been crammed together a touch more for a smaller footprint. I wish they'd also make one with an integrated boom mic that comes up out of the rim, that would be helpful.

Other Thoughts: I haven't gone wrong with Logitech mice, speakers, headphones, mic, and now a keyboard. Good brand, keep it up.
