5 out of 5 eggsThe Keys are in the right place

Pros: It's hard to find a kayboard where they haven't rearanced the keys. This is one that keeps them right.
Limited in complexity. I like the keys to be where they should be. No moving the ~ key or making a giant Delete key.
Being a UNIX admin I like the | "pipe" to be where it belongs.

Cons: If you have large hands the keys are tight.
No extra programable keys, if that is your thing.
Uses 3A not 2A batteries. "I'd think 2A would last longer"

Other Thoughts: The batteries although 3A, last and are easily replaced.

5 out of 5 eggsWell worth the money, well designed

Pros: It's cut WAY down on my battery usage. Buying some sets of these and rechargeable batteries means I'm running running for AA batteries once a week for one of my KBM sets.

The laser mouse is also pretty nice and quite comfortable. The little extra buttons underneath the scroll wheel are out of the way but accessible...much better than the thumb buttons I always twitch-click on accident.

Cons: No real complaints.

Other Thoughts: Why is this the cheapest wireless KBM combo Logitech has with a tradition key layout? That ridiculous new layout without a scroll lock key and an overlarge delete key drives me crazy.

4 out of 5 eggsMy favorite mouse

Pros: Keyboard and Mouse have held up very well with almost daily use in office environment. This keyboard-mouse kit includes my favorite mouse ever. The back and forward buttons are placed just below the scroll wheel which is perfect for easy access! Not a lot of unwanted buttons like some keyboards.

Cons: Mouse and Keyboard use different batteries (Mouse: AA Keyboard: AAA) so you have to keep both types on hand.

2 out of 5 eggsF Keys (F1-F12) on Keyboard Function Sporadically

Pros: The mouse works perfectly.

Cons: The F keys (F1-F12) on the keyboard rarely work. I searched Logitech's troubleshooting forum and found that I am not the only person who has this problem with this model. Logitech suggested connecting the receiver to a different USB port, which worked twice for me, but has never helped since. Now the F keys do not work at all. This is terrible for me because I need the F keys for games. Also, I can no longer startup while holding F8 to bring up the startup menu and disable driver signature enforcement to make some programs work (such as PeerGuardian 2) with Vista 64-bit.

Other Thoughts: This faulty product disappoints me. If I could go back in time, I would definitely buy a different mouse+keyboard combo.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for me

Pros: Works great for me. We had the receiver about 4 feet away sitting right by a printer (which I believe it said may cause conflicts) and the signal strength is fine.

I just placed an order for another one.

Cons: On the initial setup we did have to play around with different locations until we found the one we use now. Also my wife had trouble finding the setting for the mouse that she liked (speed and acceleration) but I think that was more her than the mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard!

Pros: This is an excellent keyboard. Does everything it's supposed to. Looks good, it's quiet, works from about 20 FT away, great key functions, battery life, light, and most of all, not that expensive!

Cons: The mouse isnt nearly as good as the keyboard. (I use a custom G7)

Other Thoughts: I look at it as an excellent wireless keyboard for the price, and hey! a free mouse to have just in case

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Good size and the keys feel correct. The number pad and system keys have not been re-arranged as many of the other wireless keyboards. The programmable keys are handy. Windows XP Pro x64 recognized it. The mouse is comfortable and smooth.

Cons: If you are doing a fresh install - when you press F8 to accept the EULA it does not recognize the keyboard. It might be the Gigabyte motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I have two Logitech mice and the both seem to have a higher sensitivity than the MS wireless mice. After you get used to it is hard to go back, but the first time into a game, you will be over-correcting.

3 out of 5 eggsKeep the RF Module Level

Pros: I bought this keyboard and mouse to use with a HTPC. The mouse and keyboard both have a good feel to them.

Cons: If the RF module is placed to low or high below where the mouse and keyboard are positioned, they'll cease to work. The vertical signal strength is a problem. Don't use you a HTPC.

2 out of 5 eggsHorrible Keyboard.... but Quality Mouse

Pros: The mouse was the only good part of the OEM... it's probably one of the best wireless mouse that you can find...

Cons: The keyboard...
I owned this product for almost two months and it kept disconnecting... finally, today, not only did it disconnected, it also died...

Other Thoughts: Although I didn't buy this product from newegg, it's still the same model... also the keyboard did have nice features though... however, if you're going to buy this product, watch out! You might end up throwing out the keyboard but keeping the mouse (meaning you're paying $55 + tax for a mouse - which isn't too bad I guess...)
