Fantastic keyboard, adequate mouse
- Pros: To be completely honest, I bought this set for the keyboard alone, and I am not disappointed. The Wave keyboard isn't revolutionary, but it is very comfortable, and more importantly, it is extremely solid and well-made. The palm rest is well designed and won't break off, the feet keep the keyboard in place, and the keys provide satisfying feedback.
- Cons: Logitech refuses to put their best products together in one kit. Perhaps it's a business strategy, but my previous kit included the fabulous MX700 and MX1000 mice, saddled with junky keyboards. Now I have a great keyboard to go along with my MX1000 mouse from a previous kit, but I had to spend a lot to get the keyboard. And while I didn't give the new mouse much of a chance, it's symmetric design doesn't hold a candle to a good right-handed mouse, if your a right-handed user.
- Other Thoughts: For those of you upgrading from previous Logitech wireless sets, be aware of the following: older wireless receivers can function with the new set, but won't allow the use of any of the special features. And while the new wireless receiver WILL allow full functionality of older devices, if you have a rechargeable device, such as an MX700 or MX1000 mice, you'll probably end up having to keep the old charger/receiver plugged in along with the new mini-receiver.
Second Impressions
- Pros: My MX1000 works with the receiver from the WAVE keyboard. I just pressed connect on the receiver and then connect on the MX1000 and it started working.
The Setpoint 4.00.121 drivers now seem to be working correctly. They did not install correctly the first two times but the third time was the charm.
- Cons: After a number of hours searching the forums, numerous people are having issues with the setpoint drivers. One of the fixes was to go to program file\common files\logitech\cddrv and modify a config file. The first two times I ran the install that folder was non existent, but after the third time it was there and everything worked so I did not need to modify it.

great keyboard... not so great mouse
- Pros: keyboard is great. I get reception up to ten feet. I am very glad they included a usb cable.
- Cons: The mouse aint so hot . 95% of you money is going to the keyboard and you get what you pay for
- Other Thoughts: Battery life on the mouse is completely unacceptable. I have to change the batteries every 2 weeks. The keyboard, on the other hand has lasted about a 8 months without changing the batteries, which i thought was great
- Pros: Excellent range without any blips, each unit very comfortable and intuitive, keyboard great for use in lap or on desk and very lightweight.
- Cons: Need very smooth surface for mouse to operate on.. then again that is the case for any mouse.
- Other Thoughts: Highly recommended and worth the price (especially one sale).

- Pros: It works great. The range is good. The feel is solid. I didn't use the mouse, didn't want it. I bought it for the wireless keyboard. Best keyboard i have ever had.
