2 out of 5 eggsGood for desk - NOT for HTPC

Pros: The keyboard and mouse feel great. It's easy to type on, and it has a fair amount of useful preprogrammed keys...

Cons: but it doesn't work if you are more than 5 ft from the receiver, and response is reduced if you are more than 3 ft. from the receiver. If I wanted to be limited to a 5 ft. radius of my computer, I would have bought a wired keyboard.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to use with an HTPC, hoping to be able to set at the couch (~ 9' from computer) and type. No such luck.

Also, why is range not included as a spec anywhere? For a wireless keyboard and mouse, that's a pretty important bit of info. It's frustrating to have to find out first hand that it flat out won't work from a reasonable distance away.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother great keyboard & mouse from Logitech

Pros: Very comfortable keyboard and perfect selection of extra function keys. Great battery life, especially with energiser lithium batteries! Mouse is very acurate and smoth.

Cons: None that i've found yet, except for perhaps range, it'll work in some locations 20ft away, but not others 3ft away...

Other Thoughts: Interesting ergonomics, not 100% immediately intuitive like microsoft's split key layout but comfortable, the feel of key are smoth and quiet, feel as if they'll be very durable.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Keyboard?

Pros: A wireless, multi function keyboard. Could you ask for more? The ergonomic design means maximum comfort for your hands. I didn't even need to buy a wrist rest because it comes with one. The keys are also very quiet if you can't stand the clickity clack of a regular keyboard. This keyboard synced with my wireless mouse flawlessly.

Cons: None that I can think of, except maybe that batteries don't last forever.

Other Thoughts: It's worth the money to get a wireless keyboard. I can't express how awesome it is to sit back in my chair and type. : )

5 out of 5 eggsNear Perfect

Pros: I purchased this at a local brick and mortar three years ago for $75 when retail at the time was $90. Logitech is the best brand for keyboards and mice (for crying out loud, they invented the three button mouse in the early 90's). The media center buttons work out of the box with windows media center (XP, and 7), rhythmbox for Ubuntu, and are really easy to program for Winamp.

The keyboard risers are set to either 0, 4, or 8 degrees. How cool is that? A choice.

It also comes with a built-in wristpad, the keys don't stick, and both plug in through one USB port.

I get 40' ranges on it in open air, but it doesn't seem to go through concrete or brick very well (DUH!).

Cons: Nitpicking...they lie in the product description. It comes with a couple of Duracell AA batteries for both mouse and keyboard and they last 2 years in the keyboard (being used heavily for typing college papers) and 1 year for the mouse (doing some heavy StarCraft gaming). I can't complain since I get double the use that they predict.

Mouse is lazer, but dpi is not adjustable. I know of only one wireless mouse which is, but it would be nice if it were.

the sliders on the bottom of the mouse come off after a year. I put them back on with no problems.

The mouse gets stuck often when it needs new batteries, don't get mad at it, just change them out when it starts.

Keyboard battery indicator light is either green or red, there is no yellow (I'm really nitpicking here). It lasts in the red 6 months before it dies.

sometimes they randomly come unpaired with the receiver (once every 6 months) and all you have to do is follow directions and push the connect buttons and you're goo

Other Thoughts: I didn't like qwerty, so I switched the keys to dvorak international with some stickers. easy change with stickers, but impossible to pop them off and move them.

Easily the best keyboard and the best mouse I have ever owned, but I've never bought a gaming mouse, so I can't attest to comparing with a Death Adder or whatnot.

1 out of 5 eggsShoddy product

Pros: Worked for a few months

Cons: The laser/optical sensor stopped working after a few months. Logitech support suggested reinstalling the driver and other pointless stuff like that. The sensor will sometimes allow movement from 2 oclock to 7, but will not go in any other direction. I fixed it for a little bit by hitting the mouse on my desk, but eventually that stopped fixing it too. (I can still scroll and use all the other buttons) Keep your receipts for this one.

5 out of 5 eggsAwsome Keyboard

Pros: Works seamlessly on my custom build Vista machine.

Cons: The notch on the F and J keys is hard to feel. Makes it harder to find your home keys unless you are looking at the board. The keyboard has an actual wave contour to it which takes some getting use to.

Other Thoughts: Was using a Microsoft 3000 setup and even though it was Vista Certified it would not work have the time. The keyboard and mouse would disconnect in the middle of using them. The Logitech Wave has NO problems. All the buttons work with whatever you are running, like the Media buttons on the keyboard will work on Real Player or Windows Media Player.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Comfortabe Keyboard

Pros: This keyboard and mouse combo is very comfortable with long battery life. I have had a wonderful experience with this keyboard and mouse. Range is definitely adequate for the casual user. You can't type across the room with it, but that is typically unnecessary. Receiver works great eventhough it is place near lots of electronic equipment. I have had the keyboard for more than 3 months and have not had to reconnect since I first installed it.

Cons: Not as comfortable or ergonomic as the older split keyboard models.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this keyboard over the Microsoft equivalent

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: These are easy to install and are very smooth. I ordered one of these for a coworked and have ordered a total of 74 now.

Cons: It tends to go through battries alot. I switched to recharageable and that sems to have solved the problem.

1 out of 5 eggsGood Design, VERY BAD range

Pros: Good sleek wave layout, lots of function keys.

Cons: If you want to work more than 5ft away look for another keyboard, this works nice in a tight setup but if you want to even sit on the couch as with an HTPC its a no-go. Even with the extender it still only goes maybe 3ft further(the length of the cord)

Other Thoughts: For a logitech product this makes me sad.

2 out of 5 eggsNot so happy

Pros: Very easy to use. Keyboard is outstanding.

Cons: Mouse quit working about 8 ft away.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to use with my laptop connected to my HDTV. Mouse would not work from my couch about 10 ft away. Very disappointed.
