5 out of 5 eggsVery Comfortabe Keyboard

Pros: This keyboard and mouse combo is very comfortable with long battery life. I have had a wonderful experience with this keyboard and mouse. Range is definitely adequate for the casual user. You can't type across the room with it, but that is typically unnecessary. Receiver works great eventhough it is place near lots of electronic equipment. I have had the keyboard for more than 3 months and have not had to reconnect since I first installed it.

Cons: Not as comfortable or ergonomic as the older split keyboard models.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this keyboard over the Microsoft equivalent

5 out of 5 eggsGood Product

Pros: These are easy to install and are very smooth. I ordered one of these for a coworked and have ordered a total of 74 now.

Cons: It tends to go through battries alot. I switched to recharageable and that sems to have solved the problem.

1 out of 5 eggsGood Design, VERY BAD range

Pros: Good sleek wave layout, lots of function keys.

Cons: If you want to work more than 5ft away look for another keyboard, this works nice in a tight setup but if you want to even sit on the couch as with an HTPC its a no-go. Even with the extender it still only goes maybe 3ft further(the length of the cord)

Other Thoughts: For a logitech product this makes me sad.

2 out of 5 eggsNot so happy

Pros: Very easy to use. Keyboard is outstanding.

Cons: Mouse quit working about 8 ft away.

Other Thoughts: Bought this to use with my laptop connected to my HDTV. Mouse would not work from my couch about 10 ft away. Very disappointed.

3 out of 5 eggs3 out of 5

Pros: Quiet keys, no wires, convenient palm rest for keyboard

Cons: 1. weird location of Home/End/Delete/Insert/PgUp/PgDn keys. Really hate the keyboard when typing, then going back for correction, hoping to get to the end but deleting a symbol!
2. Somewhat soft edges on keys - it gives you less tactile feedback once you move fingers from one key to another without looking.
3. Short range for RF transmitter (no wonder they provide a USB extension cord)
4. I would say half of the "extra" buttons on keyboard are useless and just clog the surface. Disturb more than help.

3 out of 5 eggsGood features, but range comes up short

Pros: Ergonomic
Very good padding for wrist rest
lots of multimedia keys
quiet keys and buttons
mouse with back/forward buttons

Cons: Setpoint somewhat intrusive and clunky
Horrible range if you want for a HTPC setup

Other Thoughts: I cannot get more than 4 feet away from the dongle to use keyboard or mouse. would be fine if I was at a desk, but I have to sit on my coffee table and not on my couch to write the review. Had all the features but comes up short (pun intended) if you desire to be more than 3-4 feet away from transmitter.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful keyboard

Pros: This keyboard is a joy to type on. I thought the whole "wave" concept was kind of a gimmick until I actually tried typing on one in the store. The high, attached wrist pad and 3 tilt settings yield a relaxed wrist position and the curved key layout yields a relaxed and natural finger position. This is the most comfortable keyboard I've ever typed on. It, like many logitech boards, features a variety of handy function keys. Some are programmable, but they aren't supported on my Ubuntu system.

The mouse is comfortable, uses a higher precision laser, has a tilt wheel, and back and forth buttons. These are all programmable like the keyboard function keys for Mac and Windows users. This combination of features, in addition to being wireless, makes for a mouse that is far superior to any cheapo OEM mouse that might come with a new machine but....

Cons: It doesn't match the comfort or accuracy of higher end mice. It is an ambidextrous design, which limits comfort and usefulness for both right- and left-handed users. The forward button on the right side of the mouse it too far back to comfortably reach with my fingers and the back button on the left side of the mouse is too far forward so I accidentally push it with my thumb every time I pick up the mouse. You have to buy the more expensive "Pro" version of the cordless desktop to get a better, right-handed mouse. In my opinion, this combo pack is basically just an expensive keyboard. I'm not going to knock an egg though because this keyboard alone with worth every penny!

Other Thoughts: I've only tested the wireless distance up to about 10ft, which is all that really concerns me. I can't read the screen anymore, so why go any further. This keyboard is pretty big, so I thought it might make a poor keyboard to use watching tv or dvd's on my computer, but the size and attached wrist pad actually makes it really easy to type with the keyboard on my lap. The mouse laser is also adequate for use on my leg or the couch.

2 out of 5 eggsFrustrating Keyboard

Pros: Wireless, ergonomic, useful & large media buttons, esp. sound up/down.

Cons: Hard to speed type on, keys are very sticky, especially the Ctrl and Space keys. Wireless reception is unreliable. My keyboard is only 2-3 feet away from the receptor yet more than once a day it looses reception for a few seconds - in middle of the typing something. It's frustrating.

Other Thoughts: I don't recommend it for office work, and especially not for gaming.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard and Mouse, Short Distance

Pros: The keyboard is very large and lightweight, but is comfortable for large hands such as myself. The mouse has a nice weight to it, and is pretty responsive.

Cons: The keyboard and mouse has a very, very short wireless distance. The distance for me is 3 feet best, with fully charged batteries and using the wireless receiver extender. My computer desk is pratically side-by-side with my TV (dual monitor setup), and when I wanted to put the keyboard in my lap in front of the TV, it was a No-Go. So make sure you put the wireless reciever pretty high on the desk, at level with the keyboard and mouse, otherwise you will have serious connectivity issues. When the wireless reciever was plugged directly into my tower (about 3 feet from the mouse), my mouse would either not respond, or it would lag horribly.

Other Thoughts: I am coming from a wired Logitech wave keyboard and Logitech G9 mouse. This keyboard is the same as the wired version, minus the wires of course.
