Logitech G15, Love it, or Hate it
- Pros: 1. Ultrapolling - Can press an unlimited amount of keys without the keyboard missing any)
2. LCD Screen - Displays Media Information, System Usage, Date & Time, and a handful of other custom applications.
3. 2 x USB Ports - They're great for a lower quality mouse, ipod connection or something like a USB Drink Cooler.
4. 6 x Programmable Keys - You can program them to do just about anything, you also can set profiles in the software and change Macro Banks.
5. Windows Key Disabler - Disables the Windows Key while switched on.
6. Strong Back light - The back light is bright even after a year of using the keyboard.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Sometimes the keys will fade, this hasn't happened to me and I use this keyboard everyday for at least 5 - 8 Hours daily.
Difficult to clean, otherwise excellent
- Pros: Excellent for typing when clean, the LCD is a great addition (and works in linux with g15daemon and g15tools, and is easy to write scripts for in linux if you're that type of person). The macro keys are very useful. I'm a VI user (sorry emacs folks!), and it's helpful for my oft-repeated key sequences.
- Cons: I found out yesterday that it's really hard to clean this keyboard. The keys don't go back on quite right if you need to take them off. Use air only!
- Other Thoughts: I wish the LCD detached so I could put it somewhere a little higher up. Or at least ratcheted up and down or something... stuck in place is kind of boring. The USB ports on the back of the keyboard are in a tricky spot to use (get an extension wire).

- Pros: I guess it sometimes works when it wants to.
- Cons: Buttons are not very sensitive if your stretching for a key and push it all way down and your finger not in the very middle sometimes it wont register the key stroke. LCD Screen stopped working after one month. DO not buy
Good Stuff
- Pros: nice features, red backlighting
- Cons: lcd is stationary instead of swiveling like last model
- Other Thoughts: ive bought 3 of these and they are all still working, i still have one of originals with blue back light and swiveling lcd from about 4+ years ago that works, g15's are the best.
It's pretty slick
- Pros: Lovin this Keyboard The LCD displays News feed, Time, CLU/Ram Usage, and Countdown counter!!! The Macro keys are pretty easy to use, but can be kinda of a pain to setup.
The two Usb ports on the back of the keyboard are actually kinda handy. I am using one for the little button thingy for my logitec mouse.
- Cons: Keys feel a little small for my huge fingers. Can't change the color of the LEDs. The orange is kinda ugly, but makes for good times when it's dark in the room.
- Other Thoughts: Wish they could find a way to make the LCD run without having a separate program running in the background.
