5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Quality and Durability

Pros: Thin

Cons: Price - This was 80 dollars 4 years ago and still is

Other Thoughts: Any other keyboard is garbage once you have used this

3 out of 5 eggsBeautiful keyboard but poorly designed

Pros: Beautiful to look at and nice to touch.
Nicely backlit.
There is a button for dimness that has 3 light settings.
Textured palm rest.

Cons: Ignores some simple keystrokes.
Even my $15 keyboards can do SHIFT-W-SPACE.
I bought this despite seeing the accusation this keyboard cannot do simple computer games because I have not seen a keyboard crippled that way.
It is true.
If you play any kind of game that uses WASD keys to move, you will not be happy.
Looks like they tried to save money in the wrong place.

Other Thoughts: As a professional programmer, my keyboard is really important to me.
I am conflicted as to whether I should send it back or not.
I would play one of my old games maybe 12 times a year but could not with this keyboard.
You could not do simple things like W (walk forward) + LEFT SHIFT (run) + SPACE (jump).

4 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: -Visually handsome piece of hardware. Aesthetically, very nice all around
-nice even lighting that isn't obnoxiously bright or hard on the eyes
-Keys have a very pleasant feel. "Clicky" and responsive. Fun to type on.

Cons: - The stand legs are way too short. They do very little to angle the keyboard properly
- The palm rest is really wide. Found myself naturally missing keys because my hand gets situated a row down. Have to reach up a bit to type which gets annoying even when the keyboard is at the edge of the desk.

Other Thoughts: The cons, I suppose, are things that people could get used to. Personally find the K800 to be much more comfortably designed.

3 out of 5 eggsNOT FOR GAMING

Pros: Extremely comfortable and dead silent, with easy to control backlighting and media keys.

Cons: Designed with phantom key blocking to disable any combination of SHIFT + W + SPACE, which specifically renders the board useless to gamers.

Other Thoughts: It is a shame that Logitech deliberately crippled what could have been the ultimate silent gaming keyboard by way of phantom key blocking. This is a fantastic keyboard for work and home office, but not something you want to use for any serious sort of gaming application.

4 out of 5 eggsNice; price shop first.

Pros: Quiet keys. Standard spacing and layout. Slim profile yet heavy balance which is nice. Rubber feet are well placed. USB cable is very far right which I like. Caps/Scroll/Num LED indicators are non-traditionally toward bottom - under number pad which is nice for under counter trays. Elevated space-bar row. Illuminated keys are nice and have dedicated brightness toggle key. All in all a great affordable keyboard for non wireless / crazy ergo option.

Cons: Reduced function key size and dominated by custom driver icons instead. (home, mail app, window toggle, media playback control options etc.)
Got this at your typical chain office store for cheaper.

5 out of 5 eggs1 year and happy

Pros: Nice tactile feel on keys, more of a laptop style key

Cons: rear stands tend to fold up easily

Other Thoughts: Other reviews pretty much cover the pros/cons of this board and the only thing I can add is that I am purchasing my 4th one..

This has become my "go too" keyboard for end users that spend a lot of time mashing away on the keys... they love this board..

I am also using one at home.. I had to tape the rear tilt stands because they want to fold up all the time..(need locks)

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: In the late hours of the night when you just need the dark room with no other lights on, this keyboard shines in many ways.

Cons: Surprisingly heavy for a keyboard but well worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsbest upgrade besides an ssd

Pros: great upgrade from a non-lit keyboard. i wanted something I could use to search internet at night, write papers, and game at night without my light on. this keyboard is solid and comfortable, I was worried it wasn't angled enough, but it feels great. the lighting is great and 3 levels (not including off) to suit your taste. i wasn't sure about the raised buttons on the bottom row, but using it it just makes sense to use and feels good for the thumbs. i don't feel that it is that loud besides the space bar. the media keys are great. the delete key is extra long and i like that, because i can reach it with my pinky no problem now. it looks great and the wrist pad is just enough to feel good.

Cons: only 2 things that really i feel i can complain about: the space bar is a little loud (not so much louder than the other keys, but it sounds different that it stands out) and wish the function key was on the left side (my laptop had it there, so still not use to it as of yet).

Other Thoughts: been looking for a wired, white backlit, media key, sleek, full keyboard and thank logitech for making one that isn't over a hundred bucks. fyi, the f1-12 keys do not light up, but their symbols for FN key do.

3 out of 5 eggsNo refreshments within 10 feet!

Pros: - Beautiful typing "feel"--similar to laptop keyboard
- Very comfortable spacing between keys: difficult to double-strike
- 4 different levels of backlighting illumination
- Has a caps-lock light!! No more messed-up passwords.
- Very comfortable "soft-touch" integrated palmrest

Cons: - Totally NOT SPILL-PROOF: see Other Thoughts
- Retractable feet to tilt keyboard are a joke: laughable in a keyboard of this price

Other Thoughts: Well, I must be a glutton for punishment because I really love this keyboard. However, this is my second one in 2 months and third in 12 months: they will not tolerate even the slightest splash of a beverage--coffee in my case. Instant death. So be forewarned.
I have not yet found a suitable replacement otherwise I would never purchase this again. I look at it as the cost of doing business...for now.

2 out of 5 eggsseriously disappointing

Pros: feels great to type on, if i was not a gamer i would likely have less issue.

Cons: i am seriously annoyed to the point of returning after this review that it cant handle common key combinations, like w + shift + ctrl, my bad for not doing more research, but i didn't even realize these issues still existed.

Other Thoughts: i hope to find another functional keyboard as comfortable to type on, cant believe logitec let me down, always been more then happy with any product they've made
