5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Keyboard

Pros: The keys are silent and well illuminated. With my eyesight and keyboarding skills being what they are, I needed to see the keys in a darker room.

Cons: None really, the delete key is double sized and not where I expect it to be, but nothing to give a bad review.

Other Thoughts: I love it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice slim but full-sized keyboard that lights.

Pros: Programmer was looking for a short stroke keyboard, and this fit the bill. The illumination was a nice bonus

Cons: Really none to speak of.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a keyboard with keys more like a notebook but not so small, this is a great option.

4 out of 5 eggsElegant Keyboard

Pros: It’s hard to find a good keyboard that is comfortable, has great styling, and a good tactile feel all in one package. This keyboard certainly has it. The extra-large Delete key is a plus; no more fat-fingering the Insert key :) Works well and looks extremely professional in combination with a Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse. Backlighting is extremely helpful for late nights – at home or in the office.

Cons: Confirmed that SHIFT+W+SPACE doesn’t work. The general conjecture is that it is disabled intentionally to up-sell gaming keyboards. Sad, sad, sad. I buy gaming keyboards for extra keys and features, not to enable something that any $9 keyboard can already do. I believe some personnel change might be in order to correct that decision.

5 out of 5 eggsStable Great Keyboard

Pros: Bought this keyboard in 2011, when I built my XP system. Moved it to my Windows 7 system and it is a very good keyboard. In 2011 it was $63.99, high priced then, but worth it. Going to ask Santa for another one this year, so I will have a spare. Had one key come loose (beat the arrow key to hard), but it went right back without a hitch.

Cons: After 3+ years the backlight seems dimmer, but still does what it needs to do - help an old man see the keys.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard - only lasted 2 years

Pros: Great lighting - can use it in a dark room. Bought it so that I could use the computer at night without turning on lights so I didn't disturb others. The keystrokes quiet and are short like a laptop - got used to this very quickly and liked the keyboard. Something was dropped on keyboard and a key popped off - it snapped right back on.

Cons: My wife types a lot - after two years the <CR> ("Enter" key) is already getting sticky and doesn't always register a press - I guess it is already worn out. I like the keyboard but I may look for a more durable replacement.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware, doesn't register all keyboard shortcuts

Pros: Doesn't matter, see Cons.

Cons: This keyboard is complete utter garbage.

It appears that Logitech intentionally crippeled the keyboard by blocking certain key combinations that gamers typically use from being sent to the computer in order to force gamers to buy a more expensive gaming keyboard.

As it turns out, professional software developers need some of these exact key combinations to get their work done and with this keyboard you simply cannot issue these shortcuts _at all_. I searched around and there are no workarounds. Who in their right mind at Logitech made this decision to intetionally cripple this keyboard? It is unusable for programming.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed after two years

Pros: Great feel, illumination is cool, thin

Cons: Keyboard failed after about 2.5 years - would no longer charge the battery. Note Logitech considers the battery not replaceable by the consumer.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesomeness is back loving it..

Pros: Number of back light settings

Cons: None that I can think off. with the exeption of the back light of the funtion keys, is a little dim, that is for the F1,2,3 and so on text that being brighter would be better.

Other Thoughts: I have used this model for several years before and loved it. Still do, I had a little "hick up" when I received my first box from newegg, this was a re-sealed and used keyboard with two defective keys. First Newegg would not accept this as the serial number of the keyboard and box did not match. Having worked in the computer retail for many years I know how things run. I called Newegg letting them know I would not accept the refusal as I returned the box under an RMA exactly as I had received the box. I did not even stop to think about all this as I was already upset having received a used item. I must say that Newegg did handle it very well as I am now typing it on this NEW keyboard. I am happy as I did get what I asked for, eventually, and the support CSR did his job very good. So thank you Newegg for taking care of me the way you did thus my five stars.

5 out of 5 eggsbest keyboard I've ever had

Pros: I have had this keyboard for a few months now, and so far, all my games work perfect on this, every key is responsive.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: only thing right now is some keys wont work, but I think I just need to clean it out.
