- Pros: Great for those that favor more shallow keystroke travel. Best way to describe it my opinion is the feel of laptop keys but with bit (2-3mm) more key travel. Anyone that is used to typing on a laptop will feel right at home with this keyboard.
Illumination is fantastic. Does not look gimmicky or stand out like those ones lit by green, blue or red LEDs, may be a con for some.
I believe the keyboard is marketed more towards the non gamer crowd looking for subtle back lighting that will not garner too much attention on first look. However the keyboard is simply 'elegant' IMO. I do use for gaming and have no regrets, I consider this an upgrade over the Razer Lycosa keyboard I had before.
Super thin. I was amazed by how slim this keyboard was when I took it out of the box. Its barely taller than my mouse pad! If you stack up 6 pennies it will line up with the top of the keyboard.!!
- Cons: If you pry a key off by accident or on purpose (like I did) it is a pain to get it back on. There is a 'X" plastic mechanism underneath each key that is hard to get in place once undone. Would make cleaning out the keyboard in the future difficult in addition to the fact that there is very minimal clearance between each keys.
F1-12 FN Shortcuts Icons illuminated instead of the the F1-12 marks.
"Soft" wristpad in the advertisement is misleading. It is a solid strip of plastic coated in rubber. It is more of a nonslip wristpad than a soft one.
Finally, not really a con but the Tab, Cap lock and Left Shift keys are a bit narrower than most keyboards. I keep hitting cap lock a lot by accident.
No USB port since they are often found on keyboards in this price range but if you don't need an extra USB port on your keyboard this isn't a con for you. I will admit though It would of been difficult if not impossible to try and fit one into keyboard this slim.
- Other Thoughts: Overall a great keyboard. I took off 1 egg mainly because of the F1-12 lighting.
Best keyboard I've ever used
- Pros: * Excellent key action - as good as any buckling spring keyboard that I've used, including the IBM Model M. Far better even than the Thinkpad laptop keyboard.
* Big, easy to reach, clearly marked volume control and mute keys. * No pointless or wasted keys * Big Delete key, small Insert key, home/end and pageup/pagedown in the proper locations * Driver puts giant volume indicator on screen when you hit the volume controls - very nice, should be a Windows feature. * The bottom row of keys stands out (literally) from the keyboard, making the keys much easier to hit and very comfortable to use. * Amazingly, in games, it can handle more keys simultaneously than my Razer Lycosa keyboard could. This keyboard can handle more simultaneous keypresses than I have fingers. * The key illumination is nice, but they really should have called this keyboard something else - the illumination is not it's biggest advantage, IMO * It wears very well - the keycaps stay legible and don't scratch eas
- Cons: * F1-F12 don't illuminate (only the worthless symbols on top do)
* Mouse right-click key relegated to Fn-PrtScrn * Half-size F1-F12: not a big deal, but I would have preferred full height. In fact, I never notice it any more, and it makes Escape even easier to hit by touch, so it's probably a draw overall. * Pointless clear bezel around the outside (makes the keyboard bigger than it needs to be), and a non-removeable keyboard rest (although I don't hate the keyboard rest as much as I thought I would) * The light on-of key: I hate this key. I just want the lights on and bright, but every time I hit this by accident I have to hit it again and again to figure out what the brightest level is. Really, a hard on-off switch on the bottom would be much better. * The stands on the back are small and flimsy. * The indicator lights (caps, numlock, scroll lock) are way too small and not bright enough.
- Other Thoughts: This is definitely the best keyboard I've ever used. The only improvements that I can think of are minor. It is a joy to type on. I'm thinking about buying extras in case they stop making it.

Nice works flawless
- Pros: Great programmable keys, nice for night work and works perfect as all Logitech products.
- Cons: Tactile feel could be better and the space bar is not lighted
perfect
- Pros: Absolutely love it !!
This is the best keyboard I have ever used.
- Cons: N/A
Don't Use The Drivers CD, Vista
- Pros: Snappy key press and good feel! Illumination is great for late night 9r0n ventures wile the wife is asleep! It can also be turned off so as to not disturb me after I go to bed.
- Cons: The drivers for this keyboard broke Vista, BSOD. Had to take a picture very fast like to catch the message. Boot into safe mode and remove drivers. After that all functions worked fine with Plug-and-play drivers. Some keys are small i.e. Backspace and ESC. If your used to thumb tapping the number pad you will find that the Zero, Decimal and enter key at the bottom are flush with the palm rest making it hard to rest your hand and have enough travel to press the keys.
- Other Thoughts: Nice board anyway!
