1 out of 5 eggsAwful keyboard with absurd ghosting

Pros: looks nice

Cons: w, shift, and space ghost. It's unforgivable, and drops its value to less than the most basic keyboards.

4 out of 5 eggsLogitech Illuminated Keyboard

Pros: VERY easy to press keys
It's illuminated
Adjustable level of illumination
Keys are in an awesome font
Very sleek
Very thin (but not too thin)

Cons: Price (I purchased the 1 year 'insurance' plan, came out to a little over $99.00)
Orange; The F* buttons include 'cutesy' little orange icons above the keyname. For example, 'F1' includes a little orange house above its name.
*Not all of the keys are 'flat-top'. (See below)

Other Thoughts: *For example, the 'ALT', 'FN', 'CNTRL' and the Windows key is about twice the thickness of the other keys, in addition to being rounded. Not a big deal really, but for those that delight in consistency it's slightly irritating.

This would be the absolute perfect keyboard if:
All of the keys were a consistent size and thickness.
The little orange icons weren't included above the F* buttons.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.. but the above reasons are why I gave it 4 eggs instead of 5.

4 out of 5 eggsVery cool

Pros: Looks awesome. Adjustable illumination is great. Very thin.

Cons: Could do without the clear plastic frame. Key travel (z-distance) is quite short (like a laptop). Other colors for the illumation would be nice.

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad. Wire is very sensitive where it connects to keyboard.

Pros: Sleek, very easy to use keys. I got this because I wanted a keyboard with keys like a laptop keyboard, I find it much easier to type on those kinds of keys. Its a very attractive keyboard. The back light is great.

Cons: Biggest issue you can find throughout most reviews, is you can't press too many keys at once, there's a limit on this keyboard, and its pretty painful for some games. Definitely not for playing old 1st 2nd gen console games.

Another big issue I had was the part where the cable connects to the keyboard, there is something very wrong with that part of the keyboard. I've had two keyboards die on me now, and it gets a little short in it at that part of the keyboard. I'm not sure if its bad wiring, or if the cables get messed up from being pulled very lightly. You know you have this problem if your computer starts having a hard time recognizing the keyboard, and the keyboard keeps going dead. My best suggestion on this is insure you have PLENTY of slack on the cable so it never gets tugged at that point on the keyboard. Because that part is extremely sensitive clearly. In other words be religious and/or methodical in how much you take care of this keyboard, or it will break fast.

Other Thoughts: Only get this keyboard if your not a clutz, and you don't ever ever have a issue where you accidentally pull your keyboard and run out of slack, and it jerks on the cable. I don't consider myself that bad with keyboards. I am a gamer, so there is the occasion it will fall, or it might get pulled on by mistake. I won't put the full blame on the design honostly, but I've had computer keyboards I've had 20 years, that went through all of the torture of gaming, and works fine.(even spilled soda in it once or twice) Some old $15 keyboard I bought at wal-mart. But get this keyboard if you have never broken any of the keyboards you have ever owned in your entire life. Its THAT sensitive.

3 out of 5 eggsGood but not great

Pros: - Looks great (low profile and great backlight)
- Well built
- Works great (plug n play)
- Keys are mechanical and feel mechanical (if you like that)

Cons: - Doesn't work with gaming
- Keys still have mechanical travel even though they are low profile
- Keystrokes feel a little "clunky" like a normal desktop keyboard

Other Thoughts: I bought this because I had a great experience several years ago with a low profile Logitech keyboard. I replaced my Saitek Eclipse II (finally started to die after 3 years) with this board. This keyboard is sold as slim but it's just low profile with mechanical keys. I was looking for a "laptop" type feel. This is more like a normal keyboard and still clicky and a bit loud.

I thought about sticking it out and using this board but I just didn't feel good about spending 80$ and settling for something that wasn't quite what I was hoping. I returned it.

3 out of 5 eggsOn the fence.

Pros: Very good feel, sleek looking.

Cons: Shift-w-spacebar combination a known not-working combination with no planned fix.

Other Thoughts: Just received the keyboard, and just tried it out. It was awesome until I tried a quick game and learned about the shift-w-spacebar issue.

Undecided as of yet whether or not I will return it. But beware of this issue when you buy.

Pros: Purchased this for my Dad for christmas. He had a stroke a year ago and the smooth, lighted keyboard has really helped

Cons: None so far. My Dad loves it

5 out of 5 eggsIt's like having a laptop keyboard for your desktop

Pros: Super-low action on the keys which was a must for me. Many mechanical keyboards I have used have keys that are too high. Less finger movement per keystroke = better! Backlight has 3 settings. Even the lowest setting is bright enough to see in a completely dark room. Sleek design and comfortable to boot.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: If the LEDs were color-changeable that would have been awesome.

Pros: Keyboard is low profile and smooth as silk.I paticulary like the illuminated keys and the FN function.

Cons: Haven't discovered any cons.

Other Thoughts: It is taking a little time to become accostomed to the thin profile, but it is top quality.
