Good keyboard on sale
- Pros: -Light, stylish, and thin.
-Reception works fine.
- Cons: -Not quite as comfortable to type on as my Thinkpad keyboard; keys are a little too clicky and don't have enough lateral rigidity.
-Palm rest collects grime easily (due to the texture of the aluminum)
-Caps lock light doesn't always come on; seems to be a bug / odd interaction in the keyboard firmware when going between power save states.
-Sometimes lags a bit when woken up from sleep (see above)
- Other Thoughts: It's not worth it full price, but it works well.
- Pros: Full key set (#s)
Scalloped keys are comfy, springy, responsive
No problems with speed or lag
Works with XP, Linux, and OSX
- Cons: Don't see the need for the full 1.5" metal band at the bottom. It gives some wrist support I suppose.
- Other Thoughts: Prior to getting this keyboard, my iMac keyboard was my favorite. This is definitely more comfortable. The lack of scalloping on other keyboards let me know when I had been coding for 8 hours, but I don't notice my fingers at all anymore. I like the responsiveness of the keys: they feel like a notebook keyboard, not the deep plunges of a desktop keyboard. I liked this enough to get a second and to write this review.
Nice keyboard
- Pros: Nice keyboard, has a laptop-like feel to it. Battery seems to be holding up well. Range is pretty good (only used it up to 15 feet, but not a problem with it). Logitech did away with the stupid Scroll Lock button (who uses it, anyway?) and instead put the Insert button there (making the Delete button nice and double-sized). Interestingly, the function keys work even without installing the included software. PC cleanliness for the win!
- Cons: Wish it had a USB port to plug in a mouse so I don't have to use up 2 ports on my computer, but that's probably wishful thinking. Otherwise.....eh, I'm kinda struggling to find any faults here.
- Other Thoughts: I think a backlight would have been a nice feature, but I know it gets kinda hairy when it comes to the battery. Definitely worth the money.
