5 out of 5 eggsExcellent keyboard

Pros: I absolutely had ergonomic keyboards--the classical ones, anyway.

This one? This one is perfect. In fact, I have never had a keyboard so comfortable to use (I'm typing on it right now, in fact). I love the fact that it isn't split in the center and it's about as close to a classical keyboard as you can get, except with a design that follows the natural curve of your fingers. I never thought I'd buy an ergonomic keyboard, but this one has really changed my mind.

I really love the positioning of the capslock/numlock/scroll lock indicators. You can actually see them very easily with just a briefly glance.

The wrist rest is actually padded. It's not padded to the point of feeling cushiony, but it's padded enough to notice. It's comfortable on the wrists if you're lazy like me and refuse to adhere to "correct" typing habit of holding your hands up for fear that your wrist rest is going to give you coodies. Or carpal tunnel. I always forget that term.

Cons: The letters rub off very quickly after about 2-3 months of heavy use (I'm a programmer), but it doesn't matter. If you're looking at this, you're probably a touch typist and you aren't going to be looking at your fingers anyway. The letter decal longevity seems to be about par for the course for Logitech keyboards, but that doesn't bother me.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the function keys have a significantly different feel and are harder to depress. This probably isn't an issue unless you play games and use those keys regularly.

Other Thoughts: I think I may have written a review some months back about this keyboard where I mentioned some minor complaint about the spacebar. I'd like to say that after nearly a year of using this keyboard, the spacebar has (oddly) tightened up a bit and now feels "normal" rather than loose. I'm not sure why, and I can only attribute it to very regular use.

It's a Logitech which means that in spite of the cheap-ish membrane switch design, it'll probably last so long that by the time you throw it away, the notches on the F and J keys will be completely worn.

No, really. My last Logitech keyboard that the Wave replaced had keys where some of the EDGES (yes, edges) were worn down, to say nothing about the F and J notches. It still works perfectly fine, but I wanted something more comfortable to use.

5 out of 5 eggscomfortable

Pros: They keys are quiet, I love the calculator button by the keypad. It feels very comfortable and is a great buy. The wrist-rest is also a nice feature with the perfect level of cushion.

Cons: Sometimes when resting my thumbs on the spacebar I feel the WAVE lettering. It isn't really a con, but just makes me look down to see if there is dirt or crumbs on my keyboard (there isn't ever anything it just feels weird lol).

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Keyboard

Pros: The palm rest on this keyboard is amazing: it's comfortable plus it has the ability to angle the keyboard so that your hands are angling down instead of up. The amount of typing I can do on this as a result has gone drastically up - and consequently will probably prevent the inevitable carpel tunnel for a little longer.

Cons: The palm rest kickstands are a little flimsy and will pop out with any amount of force. Just don't put your hands on the keyboard when you stand up out of your chair.

Other Thoughts: Probably the best keyboard I've ever used. It is very nicely balanced between doing work and gaming.

4 out of 5 eggsComfy

Pros: Comfortable, quiet and solid. I wanted a nice wired keyboard and got it. Comes with wrist rest and the key presses feel right.

Cons: About the only problem I have with it is no sleep button. Not a huge deal but I'm surprised this wasn't included. I use those a lot. Or until now have always used them.

Other Thoughts: Lots would probably enjoy the wireless wave combo, but I don't want to deal with batteries. This keeps me from it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice keyboard for the price

Pros: Looks great and works great. I LOVE the adjustable legs under the wrist pad that raise the front of the keyboard. I've never seen that feature before and it seemed a little odd at first. But once I tried typing with the front propped up, I immediately felt the relief on my wrists. Great idea!

Cons: The lettering on the keys looks like cheap decals. The keys are a little clunky and noisy. I expected better in this price range.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg's packaging was not very good. This product was shipped together with another item and while the keyboard was OK, the heatsink/fan was damaged.

4 out of 5 eggsGood overall Keyboard

Pros: Very comfortable to type on using the hand rest. Good key layout.

Cons: The calculator key seems to have been an after thought. Its feel and shape are nothing like the other keys. Media keys are a bit funky, could use improvement.

Other Thoughts: Took a little time to get used to, but after a while becomes second nature.
