1 out of 5 eggsDeffective and I have to pay to send back?

Pros: Mouse seems fine, didnt bother to use speakers no need.

Cons: "L" key stuck down on keyboard and it produces lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.............or until I unstick it. This isnt a problem except for the fact I have to pay to ship it back to get another one! Should NOT have to pay to ship back a defective product.

1 out of 5 eggsWow....

Pros: It worked, after some modifications.
Pet Teeth marks gives it some odd character flair.

Cons: The speakers literally had teeth marks from a pet on the hard plastic. The Keyboard was missing the risers. The receiver was pried open and the button had fallen out in the box. The receiver's USB bit was %100 bent beyond repair. Packaging was a mess.

Other Thoughts: I bought this product knowing it was re certified. I didn't expect to find the mess that I did. There was no quality assurance for this product. It was simply returned, and sold off without thought. The boxing was still torn to pieces, and still in the packaging. The software CD was in a broken jewel case. Hell, even the ripped bubble rap was held together with cheap scotch tape.

I'm not sure if newegg or Logitech is responsible, but it was a poor excuse for an honest sale either way. I would expect better from a garage sale in the seediest trailer park I could find.

2 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard, okay mouse, horrible speakers

Pros: Keyboard is fine for light to moderate general purpose work [word processing, email, server terminal, etc.]. I wouldn't rely too much on it for heavy duty work [it doesn't seem like it was designed for heavy work anyway]. I haven't really tested the range--it works fine within a few feet of the XP Pro-based workstation that I use for testing and development. I'm satisfied with the keyboard.

Cons: *Mouse is only so-so for slightly intensive work [buttons and wheel feel cheap and mouse overall is too light for my preferences--I stashed it away as a backup].
*Speakers are *HORRIBLE*--right out of the box, the right-speaker kept cutting off and eventually died within a few hours. I gutted them for a few parts for other electronics projects.

Other Thoughts: *I got this at a substantial discount during a Newegg promo. If I had paid the regular price for this recertified package, I would have sent it back.
*You may want to consider getting something else--very disappointed in this product regardless of price. For my purposes, the wireless keyboard is the only component that made it worth the promotional pricing.

3 out of 5 eggsThink twice

Pros: Logitech quality is always high. Software included is convenient. Batteries included. Low price. Sleek design.

Cons: The keyboard quick keys are in a place that is not natural. The biggest con is that the speakers are USB, meaning they wont connect to your sound card, and it also means that the lowest sound is LOUD!

Other Thoughts: If u just want the keyboard and mouse it is a good price and may be worth it, but dont buy if you want the speakers! It is also sold @ big box stores for around $45 obviously newegg always wins!

2 out of 5 eggsOk just ok.

Pros: Gets a strong signal when close to the reciver. Keyboard and mouse have a nice feel to them, and are lighter than others I've used. Don't need to install the driver or software on Vista or XP ;)

Cons: Range is HORRID. Starting right next to the reciver; OK; about 2-5ft away you need to hold the mouse buttons in order to ensure they are picked up; 6-8ft away you need to have the reciver as high as you can mount it for the same results as 2-5ft but if anyone walks between you & the reciver it will drop signal, and sometimes drops it randomly; 8+ft forget about it, no signal at all.

And the speakers are USB so no quick vol changes on a slower PC, and to top it off I never turned them up past 25% and the right speaker blew within 3 days!

Other Thoughts: If you are going to use this for a wireless desktop it'll be fine, but you'll still have a wire cause you'll need to keep the reciver close to the keyboard/mouse. I bought it so I could hook a PC up to my living room TV, ended up using an extention cord for my wired set cause the range SUCKS. I tried attaching it to the wall mount for my TV (Approx 6 ft up) but the TV blocked the signal.
