5 out of 5 eggs3 Year Keyboard :)

Pros: Lots of macro keys
Easy macro programming and use.
Any color you can think of back lighting.
Windows key lock :)
Overall pretty rugged keyboard if used like a keyboard.

Cons: Back light isn't very bright and doesn't light up the entire key most the time.
Not Mechanical
Keyboard started locking up after about three years of use. Would have to unplug and re plug to reset it several times an hour.

Other Thoughts: I think I got my moneys worth out of this keyboard. 3 years is pretty good for how much gaming I have done on it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard

Pros: Macro keys work decent, but are weird to use until you become accustomed to them. You can map key presses, pauses, combinations, etc all to one macro key. This can be very useful in not only gaming, but also spreadsheets, etc.
Backlighting is nice, even, and reliable.
Keystrokes are pretty quiet.

Cons: Only utilizes blue and red LEDs, so any color combos with those are a go. Anything else, you're out of luck.

Other Thoughts: It's a nice keyboard, however, the backlighting color options are becoming a bit old.

2 out of 5 eggsAt this price, get a mechanical keyboard

Pros: LOTS of features:
Built-in soundcard
12 macro keys
Media keys (and scroll wheel for volume control!)
Solid Logitech software
Backlighting (more on that in Cons)

Cons: The backlighting on this board is terrible. I primarily use blue, and you can hardly tell that they're backlit unless the room you're in is pitch black. Red is a little better, but still not very bright. Some keys like Tab and Caps Lock are only partially backlit, too.
The keys feel smaller than on other keyboards I've used as well. Really weird thing to have to adjust to.
Plastic palm rest is mediocre at best.

Other Thoughts: This is a great keyboard and all, I just don't think it was worth $80. I have a mechanical keyboard coming next week to replace this after only a year. While this is one of the better-equipped membrane keyboards, people should strongly consider mechanical options at this price range.

3 out of 5 eggsThere are better

Pros: Feels good to type on, durable for the price, Looks good

Cons: The software, kills my computer no mater what game I play it in. I have tried 3 different computers all get the same crash in game where it freezes and you have to restart. You don't get this if you don't use the software. Also when I called Logitech to ask them about this they hung up on me 6 times in a row, after I explained what my keyboard would do. I emailed them it took 1 week for a response.

Other Thoughts: If you want a good entry level keyboard, and you are not going to use the software. Its a good buy, but if you want to change the colors and macros with the software be warned. Also Logitech used to be one of my favorite company for customer service but this and 2 other devices I have had to call on has made me steer away from them now.
2 stares off, 1 for Software, 1 for customer service.

3 out of 5 eggs"Custom colors" is misleading

Pros: Good, responsive, reasonably comfortable keyboard. LEDs are visible in darkness without being distracting in light. LEDs turn on even for BIOS setup.

Cons: Claim of "custom colors" is misleading: implies that I could e.g. gave WASD red and rest of keys blue. Only the entire keyboard's lighting colour can be changed.

One of the support legs broke off after less than a year of use; spares should have been included.

Other Thoughts: Pressing any of the G keys while in BIOS setup hangs my machine (I have a Gigabyte mobo), although I'm not sure this is Logitech's fault.

4 out of 5 eggsA great keyboard for a decent price

Pros: Purchased this when my old KB died and I love it. Programmable keys and LED backlighting that's not to bright.

Never had any problems with it.

Cons: Kind of wish it was a mechanical keyboard, but I won't complain.

Other Thoughts: I recommend Logitech products all the time. Great company.

1 out of 5 eggsBad keys, but looks really cool

Pros: The keyboard looks really nice. I like the back-lit keys. The wrist rest works well. It has a lot of nice extras.

Cons: The space bar squeaks. The tab key must be pressed directly in the center or it becomes very difficult to press. At computer start up, the keyboard must be unplugged and plugged back in or else it will send F6 and F7 key presses to the computer. I don't like the way the other key presses feel either, I liked my old laptop keyboard a lot more. I feel a lot slower on this keyboard.

Other Thoughts: The F6 and F7 problems probably don't affect everyone, but I expect the other problems I had do.
