With reliable 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, Logitech Unifying receiver and three-year battery life, the MK710 puts convenience, comfort and productivity right at your fingertips.

  • newegg Three-year battery life The batteries in both the keyboard and mouse last up to three full years, so you can forget the hassle, expense and waste of frequent battery changes. (Keyboard battery life calculation based on an estimated two million keystrokes/year in an office environment. User experience may vary. Mouse battery life may vary based on user and computing conditions.)

  • newegg LCD dashboard The LCD dashboard gives you at-a-glance icon status of your battery, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock and Num Lock, so you won’t skip a beat while typing.
  • newegg Logitech Unifying receiver The tiny receiver stays in your laptop. Plus, you can easily add another compatible wireless mouse or keyboard - without the hassle of multiple USB receivers.
  • newegg Logitech Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity You can confidently work and play where you please. Encrypted, secure cordless 2.4 GHz wireless technology ensures you a reliable connection with virtually no lags or dropouts.

2 out of 5 eggsErgonomics :/

Pros: The keyboard worked and had pretty awesome range. I was able to lie back on my couch and type comfortable from a far

Cons: Keyboard analysis:
The keys are really fat. Since the keys are fat you pretty much have to press dead center when your typing. When I was playing some of my games the keyboard wouldn't function and lead me to my death.
Mouse:
The mouse is pretty small compared to a logitech 310. Because of the weird curve I couldn't palm or claw grip the mouse. When palming the tips of my fingers would hit the mouse pad and drag when playing. When clawing I wasn't able to hit the left and right click since the spring is more towards the bottom

Other Thoughts: If your really need a keyboard buy a mechanical keyboard and but a logitech 310 for better ergonomics

1 out of 5 eggsHorrible keyboard

Pros: The mouse is great. It's wireless.

Cons: I can't believe this keyboard got past the R&D stage. It is hands-down the WORST keyboard I have ever used. The tactile feel that other keyboards provide is absolutely non-existent with this keyboard. The required keystroke pressure will cause carpal tunnel in a matter of minutes (I'm not exaggerating). Typos are a constant annoyance due to the inconsistent button feel. I literally unboxed this keyboard less than an hour ago and I'll be returning it tomorrow to get something else. ANYTHING else.

Other Thoughts: Hey, Logitech... did you even bother TRYING to use this keyboard before sending it into production?

4 out of 5 eggsLove this product

Pros: Quiet, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to move from computer to computer.

I have used several keyboards and mice (all in this price range) and this is my favorite for the reasons above.

Cons: Scroll sensitivity button doesn't work. I have the same keyboard and mouse on my work computer and it only works intermittently so the problem is persistant on multiple mice.

Other Thoughts: I love this product, but this button issue is a hassle. Purchase only if you can live without it while it is replaced or have the funds to purchase another to "cross ship"

This keyboard is not backlit. I knew this purchasing so therefore, it isn't a con but this may be an important feature for those who plan to use this far from their computer monitors (since it has great range) and in low light settings.

4 out of 5 eggsWould Reccommend

Pros: Comfortable, adjustable height, works at a good distance, the keys are nice and smooth, haven't had to replace the batteries yet (I've had this for over a year).

Cons: It's been about a year and some of the keys don't always respond when I click them (this is a pain since I use this keyboard for gaming), and recently the mouse has also been acting unresponsive intermittently and spontaneously. I would still recommend, perhaps this could have been a problem with bluetooth interference.

4 out of 5 eggsFinally No BSOD! But read on.

Pros: Ergonomics and Bluetooth Functions; BUT - BEWARE!

Cons: Using Windows 7 64 bit. I, USED TO BE, a HUGE fan of Logitech products especially their Keyboard and Mice combos. I personally have the MK710 combo. Then in the last week I finally got fed up with the BSOD's so so so very often (actually for over a year now). I was just getting ready to order a new NON Nvidia video card. I was going to do that because I thought that the Nvidia products software was the culprit. Then all of a sudden I thought about the bluetooth gongle from Logitech. So I researched the internet. I was able to, MANY TIMES, directly link the BSOD's with the Logitech bluetooth software. Thus, I uninstalled the software using Control Panels Add/Remove programs. HOWEVER, I did keep the bluetooth gongle installed. This allows me to still use the keyboard/mouse combo.

Other Thoughts: BE AWARE HOWEVER ... without the software installed sometimes the keyboard will stop functioning. The mouse never has stopped. To remedy this just remove the Logitech USB gongle for about 30 seconds and then reinsert it. (No need to power down the computer.) Wait for the OS to rediscover the gongle and you are back up and running. Without the Logitech software you simply are employing the Microsoft OS drivers to make the keyboard and mouse work. Good money saving workaround!

I am going to try and locate another quality keyboard/mouse combo and try them out. If I remember to do so I will write an update on my findings.

Pros: - Has a wave design that may take some getting used to, but I believe it helps with typing and in the end, possibly speed up typing.
- Keys feel nice, little squashy. Definitely not mechanical.
- Long battery life on both mouse and keyboard.
- The mouse is small and feels nice in MY hand.
- Wireless. There is no lag that I notice in comparison of a wireless or wired mouse.
- 7 Function keys for media; however, I never use them and are pretty useless.
- Mouse wheel can be changed on the mouse itself by clicking the button below it. One mode is the ratchet, click wheel and the other is free spinning wheel.
- Mouse has two side buttons; easily in reach. The Unifying Logitech software allows you to assign macros or actions to the two thumb buttons.
- Easy to hold for long while. The thumb rubber grip feels nice and it can be pressed to show a window mode on your operating system (Kind of like Alt + Tab but 3d).
- Small dongle for both the keyboard and mouse.
- Inside the mouse's battery compartment there is a place for the dongle to be stored.
- Comfy but not perfect wrist pad on keyboard.
- The Logitech Unifying software is great. One thing that really makes a difference with mouses/keyboards is the software and Logitech has that down.
- The RF signal is actually pretty far reaching.

Cons: - Mouse is small and might be too small for big hands.
- Very miniscule, but slightly noticeable lag on the keyboard.
- Non-ambidextrous.
- Mouse laser isn't the best and some traction/stuttering does occur on specific surfaces or mouse pads.

Other Thoughts: Not recommended for gaming.

3 out of 5 eggsIt is ok

Pros: Shape of the keys and mouse is nice.
Works reliably.
Good battery life.
Wireless USB adapter plug is small, won't easily catch on something and break off.
It looks good.

Cons: The keyboard keys feel a bit soft and a little mushy when pressed. This makes typing fast a pain since you often hit a key twice by mistake.
The scroll wheel on the mouse isn't great. It switches between hyper fast mode where the wheel has absolutely no resistance and will fly through several hundred pages at the flick of a finger. This is great when you want to scroll several hundred pages to the top of a document, otherwise it is a pain. The wheel is super easy to spin and the slightest movement will scroll the page up or down. Even just removing your finger from the scroll wheel is enough to cause it to scroll. The other scroll mode will scroll through the page in clicks. The scroll speed is good in this mode but having to navigate the page when each click jumps the page a few lines is a bit of a pain when trying to read.
The button to switch the mouse between the hyperspeed and scrolling the page by little jumps doesn't always work. It usually takes some fiddling to switch between the two modes.

Other Thoughts: If you consider the effectiveness of office equipment as a weapon in case of a zombie apocalypse this isn't the keyboard/mouse combo for you. The keyboard is too light and thin to be used as an effective weapon against zombies. I would suggest keeping a secondary heavy duty keyboard close by in case of zombies.

5 out of 5 eggsFastest installation ever.

Pros: This beautiful keyboard and mouse combo was active the moment I plugged in the USB receiver into a new build. No OS required. You gotta love that! The mouse is comfortable and I love the soft but active response from the keys on the board. The HUD is useful and non-intrusive on the keyboard.

Cons: So far. None.
