5 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard and mouse

Pros: - Light to carry
- Comfortable to use
- Power last longer in both mouse and keyboard
- Works on both windows and linux

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: This keyboard is slightly different than what I have been using so if anyone been using a different style keyboard, it may take some time to get used to using, but overall its good to use.

4 out of 5 eggsLogitech MK710 2.4GHz Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo - Black

Pros: It took a little bit of usage to get use to the shape of the mouse but it is well shaped. Mouse laser tracks well, with on/off switch under mouse.(which could be a con if you forget to turn it off, as I do sometimes) Keyboard is comfortable. comes with Duracell batteries for the mouse and keyboard.

Cons: none really

Other Thoughts: I would have given it 5 eggs if the mouse wheel had any drag to it. It just free spins so trying to do any fine tuning using it is almost impossible, at least it is for myself. Every mouse I owned prior to this one, has some sort of drag to it so you can feel how much spin you put on it.

1 out of 5 eggsThe build and engineering is low quality, and their warranty service is non-existent. Look to Razer or Microsoft

Pros: Average keyboard
Average box

Cons: Poor wireless USB connection

Other Thoughts: This is an extremely poor quality keyboard and mouse combo.

Long story short: The current Logitech products are not even close to the same quality as they were 10 years ago. The build and engineering is low quality, and their warranty service is non-existent. Look to other brands such as Razer or Microsoft for your keyboard/mouse combos.

I am a computer programmer and like my keyboards to have a fresh feel. I tend to get a new keyboard/mouse combo every year when I get new hardware, and this is the 3rd time I have purchased a Logitech combo. The first time was 2004, and again in 2005. Those first 2 combos were corded, and I considered them decent, passable peripherals.

I have been using Microsoft or Razer keyboards and mice since 2006, but decided to try Logitech again for a different feel.

The keyboard was OK, it suits someone that likes a soft flat key feel, and the layout is average for a planar keyboard. It does not have good tactile feedback, so it is not the best for typists or gaming. The keyboard is of good size, and for me, the keys are not too small, but if you have larger fingers, you might find it tight. I would say if you think airplane seats are too small, this keyboard will be a PITA.

The mouse was quite nice.....when it worked. I have no idea why, but every 15-20 minutes the connection would drop for 5-10 seconds. All of the steps from everywhere (Logitech, support forums, Tom's HW, etc.) were tried to remedy the issue, but it persisted.

I contacted Logitech for a replacement by email, no response. I contacted them by phone on hold for hours. Finally got through by phone one day, 4-5 months after purchase, and they denied a replacement.

Who in this day and age of a mouse that must cost less than $2 to manufacture, would not just ship a replacement within the warranty period? Crazy.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very pleased with the battery performance of this keyboard and mouse so far. Been a month and still full bars. I like how the keyboard responds and I already have a similar wired mouse to what comes in this combo pack.

Cons: One egg taken off as my mouse started to squeak when I was clicking after only about two weeks of moderate gaming use. It is only slightly annoying. I am also not a big fan of the low-friction gravity scroll feature, which is toggled by a physical button on the mouse below the scroll wheel.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've been using this mouse/keyboard at work for six months now and liked it so much I decided to purchase one for my own use at home! After using this for so long, the old 2003 Dell keyboard I had at home just felt so uncomfortable.

Both the mouse and keyboard are extremely ergonomic. The two of them together only take up one usb port, and it's really convenient. Would recommend.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsTypes Like a Limousine

Pros: Wireless.
Ergonomics: Smooth, easy typing on keys with a solid feel. Keyboard has a nice heel-rest and three hight settings. The M705 mouse is my 2nd favorite only to the M510 which I also own. Both are natural extensions of my fingers.
Features: Media buttons, separate numeric keyboard, calculator button, LED for caps, num lock, and battery. The mouse also has ergonomic forward and back buttons and a hyper-scrolling wheel which I use extensively.
Batteries: Real batteries that last forever as opposed to short-lived rechargeables that require frequent tethering.

Cons: LED is a bit dim and hard to read in low-light kind of defeats the purpose of an LED for status indication in the first place. (On the other hand, it is highly unobtrusive if you are not fond of LEDs in the first place).
No "menu" key. I used to use this key heavily in place of the "right select" on the mouse. I will miss it.
Reliability: despite my great love for the comfort and features of Logitech mice, they have a reputation for developing little quirks in under a year. I've replace more than a few of them.

Other Thoughts: Absolutely love using this keyboard. I prefer it even to the 700 series for smoothness and substantial weight of the keys. And the Logitech mice simply cannot be beat for comfort and intuitive features.

1 out of 5 eggsLogitech MK710 Black 7 Function Keys RF Wireless Ergonomic Desktop

Pros: Nice keyboard and mouse. Have always bought Logitech products due to the features they have. Love the wireless and side buttons on the mouse.

Cons: Called Logitech support, while still under warranty, asked to buy a replacement part. They said no. When I told the tech it was still under warranty. He said, "hmmmm how did it break?" He denied the warranty even though it broke while operating their product correctly, due to a defect in workmanship.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product...used several of these

Pros: Great feel and the single connection point is a real plus
I have purchased these for myself and several folks in my development departments. They like the large layout and the wrist rest is nice also.

Cons: a little pricey for a keyboard/mouse combo, but still right in line with other brands.

Other Thoughts: Good product, works right out of the box, Logitech does a great job with these.

3 out of 5 eggslooks ok, but keys are soften

Pros: I only buy Logitech keyboards and mice for personal and business use.
I like their key switches in both mice and keyboards which are much better than Microsoft's
However, this set, the keys/switches are different than other Logitech. Similar typing feeling as Microsoft, soften.
Not sure why, but you won't like it if you are a fan of the original Logitech

Cons: Soften keys
