Both mouse and keyboard are relatively tough and reliable. Cons: Mushy keyboard is less satisfying to use than a clacky mechanical board. Other Thoughts: The cheapest keyboards and mice from Microsoft have had a high failure rate in our office, but I haven't had any problems with this model from Logitech. Got what was advertised nothing funny. Standard run of the mill USB keyboard and mouse and typing with this feels silky smooth plus its spill resistant but at least I don't have to bother with changing batteries.
