2 out of 5 eggsDiNovo Cordless Desktop

Pros: What everyone else says.

Cons: It stopped working 7 months after I bought it. Logitech customer support is nonexistent, Once you are put on hold you are in a black hole. Never to speak to a support person again

Other Thoughts: Logitech Customer support - long wait, little help.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The best keyboard money can buy, key response is fantastic, unlike the wobbly feedback you get from a $xx.- keyboard. Runs on Vista right out of the box

Cons: The keypad display only shows time/temp/date or calculator functions. the mouse lacks advanced features

4 out of 5 eggsSleek and Quiet

Pros: This keyboard looks very nice on a modern looking desk.

Cons: The keyboard itself raises in the back, but the numeric keypad does not. Mouse is small and does not fit well in a larger hand.

5 out of 5 eggsKiller keyboard, ignore the mouse

Pros: In 20 years of computing, this is the best non-laptop PC keyboard I have used. The keyboard is low-profile and feels very much like a laptop keyboard. It is very precise, provides no typing lag or key-overlap, and the battery life is ridiculously good. I've gone over a year with the same batteries in the main keyboard. Works seamlessly in Windows, Linux and FreeBSD as a standard HID device.

Cons: Battery life in the numeric pad isn't as good - I'm on my third set in about a year. The included mouse is basically just an "extra". It's perfectly fine for traveling purposes, but it's not up to par for everyday use.

Other Thoughts: The keyboard tends to slide around a little more than I'd like. The rubber feet on the bottom should probably be bigger. I'd recommend laying this keyboard on a thin rubber sheet to keep it in place.

4 out of 5 eggsnot he best for the money

Comments: the keyboard set is overall very nice, its design and function is slick.

my complaints are that the mouse is absolutly useless. i would just stick to my normal mouse. (mx1000 laser) for some reason, i sometimes feel lag when i type...as if the keystrokes r delayed. or i have to hit the same key several times. but than thats prob because i place my keyboard pretty close to my sub, which is under my desk. the magnetic heat sink is disrupting the wireless frequency. other than that this set is really nice. and the media pad is sweet too. i use it as a remote to play my music.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: I've built two micro systems using this item and everyone who sees it just has to try it out. The USB wireless receiver is no bigger than a typical thumb drive so it makes for an extremely clean arrangement. It has a professional no-nonsense appearance, more features than you'll ever need and handles great with fine keyboard response. I've been using the identical mouse on another machine for over a year so I already knew that it would be a winner. If you can deal with the price this is one cool setup.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well and excellent battery life

Comments: I'm a keyboard snob, I still buy the old IBM/Lexmark 101 key keyboards because they type better than anything on the planet. This Logitech unit is very acceptable though, it's better than any recent keyboard I've tried. The battery life is excellent. If you keep a cluttered desk though, beware the numeric keypad and any books or CD cases coming to rest on the 'NumLock' key... it'll drive you mad trying to figure out what's wrong with your new laptop...

4 out of 5 eggs

Comments: It looks great and the feel of the keystrokes is perfect for me. On the downside: I find the numeric keypad to be useless, you'll probably want to replace mouse that comes with it, and the black strip on the bottom of the keyboard absorbs the oils off your skin and has to be cleaned after every use or it will have greasy smudges all over it..

4 out of 5 eggsWorks For Me

Comments: This is essentially a laptop keyboard. Exactly the same size. The quality of the action on the keys is a little stiff, sort of like a thinkpad, but not quite as good. If you like laptop keyboards, than this is the perfect keyboard for you. I bought it for this reason and the fact that the numberpad is detachable. It allows me to keep the mouse closer to the keyboard and improves the ergonomics of my mouse usage.

The mouse is your standard laptop mouse, a little smaller than a desktop mouse but certainly better than a trackpad. Not really sure why they paired it with a keyboard that is clearly not travel sized...

5 out of 5 eggsMore good stuff from Logitech

Comments: Had this about a week and a half now. I only remembered to turn the mouse off once. I've been using it at least 4-6 hours per day, frequently unplugging it and plugging it back in. It's still running on the cheap alkalines it came with and it has not missed a beat. No fiddling about, just plug the dongle in and go. The dongle is kind of large and it sticks straight out about 2". Might be better to get a very short cable with a gender changer (if they make such a thing in USB)

I'm very picky about keyboard. I still buy the old 101 key clackity clack ones from pckeyboard. This is the best non-buckling spring keyboards I've used in a long time. Wish it was 101 key though.

Absolutely worth the money.
