5 out of 5 eggs6-Year

Pros: I have owned (and used) this mouse-keyboard combo for nearly 6 years and it STILL works beautifully.

Mouse is an effective all-around use, as well as for gaming.

Keyboard has a good range and the batteries last through about 6-8 months of regular usage.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Don't have wireless cellphones between receiver and keyboard/mouse. The signals get interrupted.

5 out of 5 eggsAll's Well

Pros: I do like the wireless feeling. It's great not having those cords getting in the way all the time. But eventhough the keyboard and mouse are wireless, there is a receiver stand/mouse charger that sits on your desk and it's wired to the computer and to a power supply. So you still have two wires to deal with.

Cons: No real cons, just a few differences that require some getting used to. For example, an optical mouse responds differently than a track-ball mouse. I'm accustomed to having only to slightly lift the track-ball mouse to reposition things, but that doesn't work the same way with an optical mouse. You have to lift it higher otherwise it keeps sensing movement. Also, the mouse has a charger stand and you have to remember (every now and then) to put the mouse back in its stand. Early on I had to "reconnect" the keyboard and mouse frequencies a few times, but now it seems to be stable. This new optical mouse is heavier than my old track-ball mouse, but for me that's not been a problem.

Other Thoughts: I haven't played with all of the features yet, but this system seems to be a good investment. I hope this helps.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome setup

Pros: Great setup with many useful options and quick keys. 'Just Works' type of thing.

Cons: Due to all of the ways you can use the mouse, middle-clicking can be an aquired skill.

Other Thoughts: It's not my keyboard, but my sister loves it! If you're keen on having a lot of features, it's great. If you'd rather have a sleeker, more traditional keyboard/mouse, this isn't your setup.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat combo from Logitech

Pros: Very easy to setup, plug it in, hit the connect buttons on the mouse, keyboard and charging/receiver station, then install Logitechs Set Point software/drivers (dont use the outdated software on the CD though, go to logitechs website and download the latest update). I play in counter-strike leagues and theres no lag at all. An overall great buy for those that spend alot of time on their desktop. So many customizable keys (that can open ANYTHING from files, folders, programs, and URLs) that I ran out of things to shortcut to.

Cons: Would be nice to have a rechargeable lithium-ion battery in the keyboard like the mouse does. The keyboard is pretty flat, almost comparable to a laptop keyboard, might be an issue for some.

Other Thoughts: Some people have mouse key button problems in Firefox (back/forward/scroll wheel click) and I found that if you set the keys to "GENERIC BUTTON" everything works fine and dandy.

5 out of 5 eggsProbably The Best

Pros: You can't best this keyboard/mouse combo. Though tricky to setup initially with my windows x64, once windows installed and I loaded the x64 drivers from Logitech, it was smooth go from then on. The receiver/transmitter is on my side, away from from my desk, yet no lags, hesitation. This is as good as it gets. For over a month now I have not recharged the battery, still going like the energizer bunny.

Cons: Nada

Other Thoughts: Get one.

5 out of 5 eggsBest For Comfort & Gaming

Pros: Very ergonomically shaped keyboard and mouse. Includes mouse charger which will save you on batteries. Mouse stays charged forever with the auto power saving feature. Securely connect as many combos as you want in a building with no problem. Great tracking and great function keys. Logitech has always been the best on keyboards and mice.

Cons: Sometimes logitech software goes off so that you can't use function keys.

Other Thoughts: Logitech is the best only next to NewEgg.

5 out of 5 eggsMX3100

Pros: Great Combo! This is my first Laser Mouse. Can't figure out why I waited so long to buy one.
My last combo was the MX700, which doesn't even compare to the MX3100. I've used Logitech cordless mice since the beginning of cordless mice. I'll never go back to corded but I should never hesitate to move forward.
The Keyboard is quiet and has a very soft touch compared to all of the other
Logitech Cordless keyboards I’ve used. I love the Calculator Key, Word Key, Excel Key, PowerPoint Key and the programmable keys. Many of the other
Keys I’ll need to get use to, but so far so good!

Cons: None the I have come across yet!

Other Thoughts: I will continue to use Logitech Products because I have been happy with them in the past.
