1 out of 5 eggsPURE GARBAGE

Pros: None

Cons: This thing has a huge delay on the keyboard. The mouse seems to function properly. I bought this for a computer I don't use often because of its cheap price. I got what I paid for. Be smarter than me and do not buy this poorly made trash.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: It's a keyboard

Cons: I bought this wireless combo for a business customer of mine for a new computer that I had sold them. From the get-go the computer seemed very slow. Then there was an intermittent problem where minimized windows would not open. I spent 9+ hours investigating the issue. Fully reinstalled windows. I was angry. Customer was angry. Lose-lose.

Come to find out all issues with the computer immediately stopped when keyboard was turned off. Further investigation found that the volume up button was faulty. It was acting as though it were constantly pressed. Now if the button is wiggled properly it will stop momentarily.

Item out of return period (because I had to spend so many hours and trips to this business over the course of several weeks).

Other Thoughts: I have been reselling Logitech products for a long time, and the quality seems to have consistently getting worse. This is not the first time I have had problems with a brand new keyboard and mouse from them in recent months.

2 out of 5 eggsNOT for a serious computer user

Pros: Easy setup (Plug and play!), works most of the time, fair battery life (there is some kind of default sleep saving mode of some kind)

Cons: Intermittent lag/connection issues
Keyboard didn't work when held a certain way (Would stop transmitting until I pointed tilted the keyboard away from me -- did not work well in lap when I was leaning back)
Weird placement of the insert/home button cluster but it was something I was able to adjust to eventually

Other Thoughts: RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX it never worked consistently. But all problems were intermittent. Very intermittent. As an example, I don't think my girlfriend ever noticed a problem but I don't think it was the kind of thing she'd pay attention to. But when I push a button on a keyboard, I need it to be registered. I'm not going to just 'chalk it up' as a mistake that maybe I didn't push the button or something. I was able to get by with the keyboard not working too well and I was able to play games but there were definitely times it was a HUGE problem for me. Anyway when the mouse started to act like the keyboard did (Pervasive lag and not transmitting clicks etc) I had enough, smashed the mouse with a hammer and snapped the keyboard in half over my knee. I owned this thing for 2 years and, some days it worked perfectly, and other days it was complete garbage. There were literally times I just couldn't play a game (or even do tabbed browsing...) because this keyboard/mouse combo was having 'one of those days'

The level of inconsistent functioning was unacceptable. I wouldn't accept that uncertainty with anything else in my life, so I wasn't going to take it from this keyboard.

I do not blame Logitech per-se. I've used their products a lot. I'm not sure what was wrong with this one, it may have just been defective.

2 out of 5 eggsMouse buttons bad

Pros: Decent, solid while it lasted.

Cons: Main mouse button decided to quit after a year. It decided to double click, or just NOT click intermittently. Not bought from newegg, but that doesnt matter. Its poor quality.

Other Thoughts: This AFTER I bought an EXPENSIVE Logitech gaming mouse. Logitech has degraded to the ranks of the cheap odd-name junk you buy from discount markets.

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy it

Pros: Mouse works well and that is it for pros.

Cons: Logitech should be ashamed to put in the market a keyboard like this. I have owned Logitech keyboards before and they were awesome but this one is the worst garbage I have ever found in my life. My pc is right next to it and yet it fails constantly. It just stops working sometimes for 5 to 10 seconds. Sometimes it skips letters too or repeats letters on its own. I am buying a replacement, certainly not Logitech ever again and this one is going where it belongs. In the dumpster outside.

Other Thoughts: Simply put, do not waste your money on this unit. It is not worth even $5.00.

5 out of 5 eggsworks good

Pros: Reasonably priced. Works good. Plays nice with linux.

I just plugged in the receiver and went right to work. I'm using it with a desktop in a cabinet plugged into a TV. I sit about 8 - 10 feet away when using it. No issues with range or latency.

Cons: none I can think of
