3 out of 5 eggsShort Short Range or Interfearance

Pros: Great Keyboard Layout. Solid Construction. Nice Tactile Response. Nice extra Function Keys.

Cons: Range on the Mouse Seems Fine but the Keyboard Has issues unless I'm really close. I put the unified receiver In the Rear Port and It would not work until I put the Computer back end facing me. I have a Logitech K360 that works @ 20+ feet away Flawlessly(K360 was $35 just for the keyboard when I bought it.)

Other Thoughts: Will Take it apart and see if I can add a piece of wire to extend the range. I might just have a defective unit If so, am going to buy another K360 and Forget about it. K360 has a Caps Light even though some have said I dose not.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent keyboard / mouse

Pros: The keys are actually pretty nice - not super cheap. The media buttons on the top of the keyboard are useful. If you need a quick, cheap wireless keyboard / mouse, this is your puppy.

Cons: No caps / scroll / num lock lights.

The connection is pretty weak.

This is probably my fault, but the keyboard uses AAA batteries. The specifications state that, but the quick overview at the top of the page states AA batteries, which are for the mouse.

The mouse is a little small.

4 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: Cheap
Working
Good feel
Solid Build

Cons: Keyboard seems to want to wake up from a nap sometimes. I will press keys and nothing will happen for 5 to 10 seconds and then no problem. I am ruffly 10 ft from the PC so distance should not be an issue but I am taking an egg off for that.

Other Thoughts: Great for mu HTCP. It's nice to have no wires and now it can sit by the TV instead couch with a long HDMI cable to the TV. This is how a HTPC should be hooked up.

1 out of 5 eggsDissapointing

Pros: wireless

Cons: There is often a lag from the time that you type to the time you see your work on your monitor. Switching from a back to front USB port has improved that somewhat. Today the "H" key has begun working intermittently. It is really starting to drive me nuts. I may have to return this keyboard, as it seems to be unusable.

2 out of 5 eggsno light for caps lock

Pros: sleek and it came quick. looks great and the wireless works as described.

Cons: you don't know how important that small light indicating caps is on is until you don't have it. Matter fact, there are no lights indicating anything is on or off at all.

Other Thoughts: I can live without this little light, but if I had known before that it didn't come with it, I would not have bought it. This is pretty important when you are typing in passwords.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away from

Pros: It's wireless.
It's cheap.
It's comfortable.

Cons: It doesn't work correctly out of the box. It's plug and play without any software required. The mouse works fine, but the keyboard has all sorts of connection issues. I'm surprised I'm typing this right now. I own the older model, the MK300 keyboard, and that one worked like a charm. This is a subpar product, and all the negative reviews are accurate. They are not one in a thousand duds, this happens often.

2 out of 5 eggsDifficult to keep connection

Pros: Convenient size for a keyboard/mouse combo

Cons: Connectivity

Other Thoughts: I like having this keyboard/mouse combo for my HTPC setup, but the connection is horrendous. I have the USB dongle on the frontmost port on my PC, but even as I type this, it's very difficult to keep a good rhythm going. I'm literally 5 inches from the dongle and my keyboard is still choking. I suppose for the price you pay, it's not the worst thing in the world, but you really do get what you pay for here. I'll be looking for another wireless keyboard and a separate wireless mouse.

In my opinion, be careful with wireless keyboard/mouse combos as they usually (if not always) share a USB dongle. I don't know if that's necessarily my issue, but it would probably help to have a dongle for each of the keyboard and mouse, even if I need to get a USB hub to accommodate the rest of the USB things I use.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat keyboard- mediocre transmitter

Pros: Great keyboard, decent mouse, has survived years of wear and tear.

Cons: Yes, there can be input lag from the keyboard- becuase I think the transmitter is relatively weak. But when I used a USB extender cable to move the dongle away from the box everything was fixed permanently. If you havea cable extender or a USB hub to move the dongle away from your box, this is a great setup. But if you're mounting the dongle directly to your metal-frame tower, you will have problems.

4 out of 5 eggs6 years on ...

Pros: It's lasted me a long time
Price
It works

Cons: Keyboard and mouse lag sometimes
Keys seem to have gotten stickier over time

Other Thoughts: I've had this combo for 6 years now. It's worked well as a basic keyboard mouse combo if you want wireless. Definitely not a gaming mouse because of the periodic lag. I tried it with Tomb Raider and it was pretty hard to get a quick headshot. I recently replaced the keyboard, not because this one died, but because I wanted a mechanical. This has served it's purpose
