5 out of 5 eggsNice Keyboard/Mouse

Pros: Uses Logitech cordless USB dongle which works well and takes no space. Keyboard has good feel and all the right keys and function keys, including the every useful speaker volume/must buttons.
From past experience, I expect good battery life and good keyboard life.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This keyboard has a PC Power button. If you plug the dongle into a unswitched USB plug, you can control the system power from the keyboard. The default is to place the system in sleep mode, but that is configurable.
I looked at the Logitech keyboard with back lit keys, but every store's demos had key missing. That agrees with reviews.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Mouse is non-slip. Keyboard has a decent recoil in the keys. I like the size, shape, and angle of the keys. Has media keys. Looks good. Has decent range. You can actually turn off the mouse and keyboard when not in use (might not need to if it lives up to its 18 month battery life claim)

Cons: Missing the num lock and caps lock indicators. Most wireless keyboards do not have indicator lights as that costs battery life if left on. I had to use the Logitech software to pair the mouse and keyboard to the PC/receiver.

Other Thoughts: If I had not stumbled upon the Logitech software, I would probably have returned this as defective. Thinking about it for a minute, I can see why Logitech made it necessary to have the software installed; security. Not a pro or a con for me, but the mouse is VERY sensitive and the keyboard the keyboard might ever so slightly lag behind for the fastest of typers. Overall, for the money, this is a great wireless combo set.

3 out of 5 eggsGREAT!

Pros: Keyboard looks great and is very responsive to the touch. Well constructed and sturdy.

As for the price, at first it was high, but I went and bought it anyway and then later discovered the "iron egg" guarantee. So... I decided to re-write my rating with 5 eggs thanks to Newegg coming through once again! I'm so EGGcited! :)

Cons: It didn't come with the USB extension cord as advertised. I had to use an old (1.0) one I had laying around. I would have put 5 stars had all the parts (I paid for) been in the package.

Can someone send me a cord? ? ?

Other Thoughts: For those getting the "keyboard not found" error when restarting... place the USB unifier on a USB extension cord. It will work fine then. If you don't have one, try swapping USB ports.

1 out of 5 eggsvery disappointing

Pros: Got it for a very good price (not from NE). Plug 'n' Play. Decent keyboard & mouse feel.

Cons: Keyboard skips and lags frequently, and no, it is not because I just "woke it up." Does it in the middle of a conversation. Mouse intermittent too. Keyboard and mouse are within 3 ft of the dongle on the back of my computer. Changing batteries didn't help. No utilities or software of any kind. Computer has wifi, (which is turned off), bluetooth dongle and there is a cordless phone nearby. My previous Logitech wireless mouse had no problems operating in this environment.

Other Thoughts: Have used Logitech for years and never had a problem. Because of this experience, I am no longer a loyal Logitech customer. The kybd & mouse are being returned, so I will not have owned them long enough to comment on battery life.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks great but NOT for business use!

Pros: Nice keyboard, ergonomic and well liked by employees. The price is very fair, and overall our impression of the device was good. But we tend to test input devices for 6-8 months before buying more of a device. It's a good thing.

Cons: You cannot use two logitech KB/Mouse combinations in the same space. Unfortunately the set began failing and we found a user in the office next door had begun using a logitech wireless keyboard. This caused havoc this set (KB and mouse but mostly KB) making it unusable. We picked up another at BB with the same result. Went to extremes using logitech tools to fix it. No joy. The result, it's a great keyboard for a home where it is the ONLY logitech KB/M set. Logitech, please do a better job pairing these uniquely at the factory.

Other Thoughts: for the price I suppose we can't complain (thus 3 stars instead of less). It seems a quality piece of hardware. I just wish they'd either take basic steps to ID/Pair them, or state on the advertisement they are not unique. The poor guy next door had three mice and three keyboards at once through two walls! :)

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless

Pros: I like the rounded edges on the keys, and it demands just the right amount of pressure to press each key. I rarely fatfinger anymore. It is everything I was looking for in a keyboard.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I'm pretty picky about tactile response, and this keyboard is quite gratifying. It's not an old IBM keyboard, but there is a satisfyingly clear click with each letter that I type. I also type with one hand, and the keys aren't too far apart for that. Some keyboards are too large for my little, female hands. :P
