Logitech's Keyboards and mice have been leading the competition in every way. The Logitech MK200 Desktop just continues the trend and with a great price to boot. The low-profile keys barely make a sound for a peaceful workspace, and programmable function keys at the top will make sure you have easy access to favorite programs and functions like volume controls.

The keyboard is designed to last, and its spill-resistant design is going to keep accidents to minor annoyances. The included optical mouse will give you much less grief because of weird surfaces. This is the keyboard combo to get for a price that is out of its world.

  • newegg Comfortable, Quiet Typing You’ll enjoy a comfortable and quiet typing experience thanks to the low-profile keys that barely make a sound and standard layout with number pad.
  • newegg High-Definition Optical Mouse You’ll enjoy smooth, responsive cursor control with high-definition optical tracking (1000 dpi). The sculpted, ambidextrous shape feels good in either hand.
  • newegg Convenient Function Keys An array of hot keys located on top of the keyboard delivers easy access to media control, Internet, e-mail and application.
  • newegg Spill-Resistant Design Liquid drains out of the keyboard, so you don’t have to worry about ruining your investment with accidental spills.

5 out of 5 eggsBest I've used in this price class

Pros: Key mechanisms appear to be well-made. White characters on keys are holding up well.

Cons: Weak, flimsy pop-up "legs." Deck is flimsy - especially noticeable at and near spacebar. Not bad enough to lose an "egg."

Other Thoughts: I have 3 of these now. The first was about a year ago, and performed well enough that I just got 2 more for other computers.

If you have a light typing touch, you may not notice how flimsy the bottom/deck plastic is; if you pound the keyboard, you will.

I have had keyboards costing up to 4 times as much as this, and I'd say that this performs just as well. In fact, if you spend $80 on a keyboard, about the only true upgrade from this will be thicker plastic deck and legs.

2 out of 5 eggsMaybe a more expensive option would be better.

Pros: Logitech is a good name and the product is cheap

Cons: I purchased three of these and one had a broken mouse. One of the keyboards had a key that didn't work (Didn't find out for two days.)
and I haven't opened the third yet.

Other Thoughts: I have yet to find out how returns work. I'll be shocked if I get replacement parts... I think I'll just buy a little more expensive keyboard and mouse combo. Although it could have been an issue with packaging or shipping. Very hard to tell.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: It works on my Mac. some of the buttons on top are inoperable, but I don't really mind. Its a low budget item and delivers well. I don't have the mouse on a mousepad right now, and it has done very well so far. Impressed.

Cons: a bit cheap feeling, but you should expect that with the price tag.

1 out of 5 eggsQuality has degraded

Pros: Nice feel when it works

Cons: I used to love Logitech keyboards. I've got 25+ in my office. But the last 2 I got were both defective (months apart so not the same lot). One was DOA. The other had inactive keys. If you buy one, keep in mind there is no Newegg customer service. YOU must mail the product back at your own expense, which in this case is 1/2 the cost of the keyboard. To RMA will cost you another 45 minutes of your time. In the last 2 years I've spent over $12,000 at Newegg and this left such a bad taste that I'll look elsewhere first now. THEIR bad product but you pay. If you get a bad one, it's a throw-away. Bad Logitech quality control and non-existent newegg support.

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech Delivers Again

Pros: Focusing on the keyboard: It really does deliver. Works very nicely, plug and play super smooth, and I can testify to the spill-resistance of it. I spilled about half a coke across this keyboard, and the liquid really did just sit between the keys, and barely leaked any (from what I could tell), and was extremely simple to wipe up the mess.

Amazing bundle for the price, you won't be disappointed.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I replaced the mouse for something with easily adjustable DPI (for gaming purposes), but from my limited experience with it, I was completely satisfied.

5 out of 5 eggsleft right hook uppercut

Pros: good tactile feel for keyboard
mouse is nice as well
has media keys that work

Cons: mouse has ever so slightly too short of button travel where it confuses my muscle memory when left clicking in say, league of legends. This is a minor complaint, just be aware if gaming.

Other Thoughts: buy it now

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a keyboard

Pros: This keyboard has good tactile feel, while typing.

Cons: The mouse is nice to retain as a backup, but it's a bit too small for my hand, so I use a different and larger brand.

Other Thoughts: It's a wired keyboard with a usb connection to the computer. Things don't get much simpler than this. Why would anyone need or want, to pay over $30.00 for a freaking keyboard?
