5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: Never thought I would love a keyboard with a short key stroke but I do. The back-lighting is wonderful. The battery life is phenomenal. This keyboard is used about 6 hours a day and only requires charging every three weeks. Uses a standard micro usb cable for charging.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsTough keyboard

Pros: This keyboard was good for me because I don't like bulky, heavy, gets-in-the-way keyboards. This one is pretty lightweight, has illuminated keys, typing isn't that loud, tells you when caps is on, has function keys to control media, and even after a year of heavy use, they keys do not stick(with a few single-instance exceptions)

Also, for all those that might complain about battery life, you can turn the lighting level down on the fly. It extends the recharge period. It is a very nice feature.

It also has the auto sense feature, also very nice. It automatically disables the back light if it is running low on battery. It has a status display that tells you when the battery level is low. It even lightly flashes red when you are getting reallllly low on battery power.

The wireless distance is pretty good relative to other wireless devices. The tiny USB transceiver is amazing. I love being able to have all my devices tied to one transceiver.

So much greatness in one product.

Cons: None. Price maybe, but it is worth it.

Other Thoughts: The main reason I decided to write this comment was to explain why I consider it a 'tough keyboard'

I accidently spilt a lot of water on it. I felt like an idiot--but anyways, I turned it off immediately and tried to dry it out. I was convinced that after rubbing it down, and patting it against a towel, I had got all the water out. I was wrong and the keys started to have issues. I turned it off, flipped it upside down and stuck it in front of a vent. The two most noticeable keys having issues were the 'u' and the '2'. I would press one, and both of them would fire at the same time. As bad as this was, the fact that they were crossliked together made me think that it was just a matter of letting it dry off some more. After a few hours of failed attempts to get it to work again, I thought I was out of luck and started looking to get a replacement. I'm not so cheap to even try returning it after I made such a major mistake and it was completely my fault. I pulled out another logitech keyboard and went back to work a little upset at myself for letting the keyboard get ruined. I tried pulling off the 'u' key and drying it off under but all I ended up doing was breaking the plastic pivot clip(just the little knob/rod that holds the two pieces together). I gave up. The next day I decided to give it one more try before considering more permanent options. To my surprise, not only did it work but after I put the 'u' key back on, it still types like normal. In fact, I am writing this entire review on the keyboard. I haven't had a single letter mix up so far.

I realize this is atypical but you have to admit, it is pretty impressive that a keyboard could recover from one of electronics #1 enemy(water). I'm really happy to have it back in working order.

If there was a special 'sixth' egg, I would give it.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great keyboard, if not super durable. I just bought my second one in 3 years since I loved the first one so much. Sadly, hair and other junk can get under the keys and mess them up. I mostly got this cause I love the scissor switch keys, the auto illumination and Logitech software

Cons: Junk can get under the keys and mess them up. Scissor switch keys mean it is very hard to take apart to clean without breaking. Whatever, I still love it

1 out of 5 eggsDoesnt Work

Pros: NONE

Cons: $90 for a keyboard that just has a blinking light.

Other Thoughts: $90 for a keyboard I should be able to plug it in and it work. Not sit here and google howto's and fixes....

5 out of 5 eggsIt's growing on me.

Pros: The keys are quiet, the battery charges quickly and easily, the backlight is very bright, and the keys are adequately sized.

Cons: None. The descriptions and reviews (the ones I read at least) accurately described the product. What I read was what I got.

Other Thoughts: The keyboards layout is the traditional horizontal layout. My previous keyboard had the sort of u-shaped layout that I have grown accustomed to. However, after a few days, my muscle memory returned and now I've warmed up to this keyboard. I credit this to the large shaped keys. Perhaps I can gift this to my father.

5 out of 5 eggsSo comfortable!

Pros: So light and the battery lasts a great length of time, even with long-term typing sessions (9+ hours a day). My fingers no longer feel fatigued partway through my morning.

Cons: None that I really know of.

2 out of 5 eggsCould be the Best Keyboard

Pros: Best finish, Best slim design(keys are right next to each other). Very low profile makes this keyboard somewhat easy to type, keeps your finger close to the ground and makes long time FPS/MMO gaming much easier and the back-lit is at right bright. its just bright enough for you to see what you typing if you aren't yet remembers all keys! BUT BUT BUT BUT BUT...

Cons: Biggest job about this keyboard is, whatever I am typing right now is NOT USING my k800 because it is BROKEN.
Only had it for 3 months and the key itself is acting weird.

Its common that when you type something the keyboard actually sent the data to your PC something ELSE. Let me reconnect my K800 and type it

Thi5s'l i5s'l wha^t ha^ppen to my K800 ri5ght now, If not beca^us'le of thi5s'l, K800 could be the bes'lt keyboa^rd i5n the ma^rket for i5ts'l pri5ce......

See how broken it is?? I have no idea whats going on but it happened to my K800 and my friend's K800 is doing the same thing when he first got it, but he returned it and got a K750 instead.

Other Thoughts: I researched on the internet, looks like lots of people are having same problem. Man, I wish Logitech read and award this issue, This Keyboard is honestly better than lots of $100+ keyboards .. ONLY IF IT WORKS !!

5 out of 5 eggsBUY IT NOW!

Pros: okay so i bought this back in 2010, just getting around to doing a review, and i have dropped this board, i have stepped on it, it has fallen and smacked into everything you could imagine, had my guitar fall on it, and yet here i am still typing away on this thing, its still working and the battery life is phenominal, i charge it for about 10 minutes and its ready to go another week, and i have used it alot every day for hours on end for gaming and what not, and the led lighting works and its flawless, functions just as it was new, and i am extremely happy with this product, best thing i have ever bought for my gaming set up, and i will be buying another one soon for a second setup. i reccomend this item to anyone wanting a wireless keyboard, for anything , even gaming there is no lag and its very quick and easy to type a message with hardly any effort, i love the key spacing and layout.

Cons: no cons, but a slight warning for as much use and age as mine has, and constant gaming, youll notice after about a year or so,that the space bar and keys you type on and use the most while typing begin to lose the "finish"i have a nice little bald spot on my space bar from jumping in games alot, but the keys mind you will always have the letters on them,no matter how much wearing is on it, and im proud of that because i was worried that would rub off too lol. so not a con but just a slight "this will happen over time" deal.

Other Thoughts: definitely satisfied by logitec k800 key board, i recommend it for anyone, and i love it, its the best 80 bucks i had spent (got it on a daily special!) and the range on it is amazing as well, and all the shiney buttons!!! make media and gaming so easy , and the layout is to fall in love with,i hate using ANY OTHER KEY BOARD...its so natural feeling using the k800, anything else is like touching the sand on mars...just weird feeling. k800 buy it, anything else, thats debatable!
