5 out of 5 eggsReplacement Combo

Pros: The keyboard and mouse came in like new condition.

Cons: Everything was included except the software. The software was easily located on Logitech's website.

Other Thoughts: The is the replacement combo that was received after RMAing the first one. I tested every key on the keyboard and mouse and everything works as expected. Newegg Support gets an A+ on this RMA. They are always so easy to deal with.

3 out of 5 eggsSome Buttons DOA

Pros: I really like the design of this unit and the advanced features that are packed into this beauty. I like this keyboard much more than the Microsoft one that I replaced.

Cons: A few keys were DOA.

Main Enter Key
Main Delete Key
Home Key
Page Down Key

Other Thoughts: Disappointed that QA could pass this keyboard with so many keys not working.

On the plus side, Newegg support is awesome. RMA when smoothly and I should have a replacement tomorrow.

5 out of 5 eggsNice setup

Pros: Nice ergonomic design. Easy setup. Price was good.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Got this setup after my brother came into town and showed me his. I knew right off that I had to have one and checked newegg and ran across a refurbished setup for around $30. For that price it was a no brainer. Read some negative reviews about buying this refurbished, but I am more than happy with the one I received.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent bargain

Pros: Great feeling, sculpted right to your hands. Excellent range and plug and play ability. Excellent precision with no lagging.

Cons: Not the best out there, but does everything that it says.

Other Thoughts: Great bargain, bought for the new $2000 gaming computer I am in the process of building.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent buy

Pros: Newegg shipping! I must be close to the warehouse because I received mine less than 24 hours. The item was referbed, but looks and feels brand new and works just fine.

Cons: Didn't ship with drivers or any manuals. (that's what the internet is for!)

Other Thoughts: Outstanding deal on a great keyboard / mouse combo. I bought this one just to have a backup.

5 out of 5 eggsegg-xcelent refurbished unit.

Pros: Worked better than expected right out of the box. Purchased refurbished and had my doubts. All I cared about was the ergonomic keyboard and mouse (the ability to type numbers and letters), Instead I have a full functioning keyboard that controls volume, media play/pause, webcam pictures, mute, screen zoom, ect.

Cons: It didn't come with batteries, I had to go to the store and buy new batteries.... not really a con, but in today's give me a freebie 0bama-care mentality, I've come to expect handouts. (joking about my expecting handouts). I earn my own keep. If there was a Con, Newegg would take care of it so fast, I wouldn't have time to notice.

Other Thoughts: Thank you Newegg. Its been cold recently and I love my Newegg beanie.

1 out of 5 eggsMalware With a Defective Product

Pros: Cheap price.

Cons: Cheap quality. Keyboard often fails to detect keypresses. To double-click with the mouse, often requires 3 or more clicks. But, worst of all is the malware that comes with it. SetPoint was triggering a Norton Product Tamper Protection Alert every few seconds, until I uninstalled it.

Here is one of the thousands of such messages:

Category: Norton Product Tamper Protection
Date & Time: 1/20/2014 5:40:20 PM
Risk: Medium
Activity: Unauthorized access blocked (Access Process Data)
Status: Blocked
Recommended Action: No Action Required

Actor: C:\PROGRAM FILES\LOGITECH\SETPOINTP\SETPOINT.EXE
Target: C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Security Suite\Engine\21.1.0.18\N360.exe

I tried contacting Logitech, but they refuse to answer any questions and only recommend that I disable my Anti-Virus software, and my firewall, and that I should hide and disable all Microsoft services, and only then install their software and let it have it's way with my computer, ignoring the Norton Product Tamper Alert.

If you value your computer, do not buy from Logitech!!!

Other Thoughts: I can hardly believe how Logitech is setting themselves up for one heck of a class-action lawsuit.

3 out of 5 eggsGood combo, but a little dirty.

Pros: The products work perfectly and the keyboard almost looks brand new after a thorough cleaning(I purchased the refurbished combo).

Cons: Both the keyboard and mouse were extremely dirty and looked like no attempt was even made to make them look "like new" as a refurb. I had to clean for hours both keyboard and mouse to remove all of the old hair, grime, gunk, and dirt. I would have expected an attempt to make the products look as "like new" as possible since these were a refurb. The mouse is in worse shape than the keyboard, it seems as though it has a couple years of use on it (The rubber on the sides and mouse feet are quite visibly worn down).

Other Thoughts: The only real problem I have with this refurb combo was the fact of how dirty the items were. This was the first refurbished product I have ever purchased and I imagined buying a refurb product as being rebuilt to manufacturer quality products and then being re-sold at a significant discount. These things looked like they had been used for years with all the dirt buildup and then just resold and reshipped as a refurb.

Don't get me wrong, after a deep cleaning session they appear of much better quality, especially the keyboard. But I still had higher expectations from such a great company.

If you don't mind cleaning your items after getting them, then this is/was an amazing deal! Overall, I'm content with my purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsTweaks may be required!

Pros: The comfort of the keyboard works perfect for me. The lightweight is great for just picking it up and setting it on my lap. The rounded edges make those accidental slides off my lap so much safer for my feet. The long battery life is great! The media functions buttons are actually great! I've always found the calculator button to be useful, but lately I'm finding the Media Center button easier to just tap when the keyboard is under my fingers and the mute button is much easier than using the mouse and hunting it down.

This mouse works better for me than the m705, so that was a great bonus! I still seem to get the best results using it on top of my sleeping bag, but unlike the 705 that wouldn't even work on my bedspread, this one will.

Cons: Having to figure out the best setup to get it working. My first K350 was great, so I thought maybe the rechargeable batteries may be to blame for the delays this new refurbished was giving me or the fact it was refurbished.

Before I did anything, I simply took the receiver that I have plugged into an extension and did something. See, it was dangling and I put it up on the ledge when I got this new keyboard. It isn't very far from me at all. 3-5 feet.

Goofy as this may sound, I simple knocked it back off the ledge and it's pointing to the floor now. The last two weeks, I have not had a single issue with this keyboard.

K350 needs a better wireless connection so users won't have to play with it to get it to work. I love the design, the light weight, and layout of this keyboard and really wouldn't want that to change. It's perfect for the most part, just really goofy how if I have the receiver nice and neat on the ledge, it's going to have my keyboard acting like a wild cat on crack, but if I let it dangle it's fine?

Other Thoughts: This is my 3rd review - 1st on using a "refurbished" K350.
When I bought my first K350, I also bought a m705 mouse. My goal was more about using less batteries than anything else. Getting this refurbished package at such a great price, I grabbed it.

A USB extender may be necessary for users having problems with their keyboard "Stalling, Stuttering, Freezing and Unfreezing and such"
While some may try different USB ports to plug it into, and placement, my issue was fixed simply by letting it dangle over the edge of my stand pointing toward the floor?
I wouldn't have wrote this 3rd review had this problem not appeared in this refurbished set I bought two months prior to writing this, just thought it may benefit someone that may be having issues as well, and maybe pointing their receiver directly at the floor could solve their problem too.
(Please cue the twilight zone theme)

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Product

Pros: Ergonomic Shape
Padded wrist rest
Tones of media buttons including my most favorite the calculator key.
Two Levels of height adjustment

Cons: Doesn't come included with batteries!

Other Thoughts: Make sure to have 4 AA batteries ready (2 for keyboard and 2 for Mouse).
The receiver is in the mouse!
The receiver is also compatible with other mice that have the red * symbol on them.
