3 out of 5 eggsHumm

Pros: great keyboard as long as one drop of water does not touch it.

Cons: Made poorly in case of minor accidents, Apparently you take your chances with refurbished. This is my 4th replacement in 2 years due to the smallest of water spills onto it. You would think for $100 new, they would make them better. Even my $9 keyboard handles spills better.

Other Thoughts: The refurbished keyboard just came in. I plugged the charger into it and all it would do is light red. So I took the batteries out of a dead keyboard just like it and now it works fine. I thought that refurbished would me checked out for resell and not sold to me already broken. I would be sending it back if I did not already have the proper spare batteries. Also, the batteries inside the keyboard was miss matched and nobody caught it.

5 out of 5 eggsTerrific Keyboard

Pros: I bought this keyboard refurbished from NewEgg at nearly half price, and after I figured out the problem with it it was the best bargain of the year, The keyboard arrived with the batteries completely drained. I plugged in to charge as instructed and after 6 hours of charging it was still "dead". I was ready to five up and send it back as DOA when I read in another review that the user had the same problem and took the batteries out and recharged them in his charger. So I took my batteries out of the dead keyboard, put them in my charger. After about 10 -12 hours of charging the battery charger indicated the batteries had charged. Took them out and replaced them in the keyboard and the keyboard has performed flawlessly for over a year now. When the batteries charge gets down to one bar I plug in the supplied charging cable and let them charge back up to full power. The batteries last a VERY long time between charges as the keyboard has power saving features and can be switched off completely when not being used.

This keyboard is just excellent for using in any room where there is no, or low, lighting. Works perfect.

Cons: If it comes with a dead battery, be aware that it takes at least 10-12 hours before the batteries will be restored. Normally it should arrive with the batteries already charged, but mine didn't.

1 out of 5 eggsBuy a new one instead

Pros: Backlit keyboard and soft touch keys are very nice.

Cons: Battery died 1 month after purchase. I bought the 2 year warranty for $9.99 when I purchased the keyboard. When I asked to replace the keyboard on the website, I was told that that option wasn't available. So I'm in the hole for the cost of the keyboard and the cost of the warranty which isn't being honored. Don't waste your money.... go buy a new one.

3 out of 5 eggsLogitech K800 Good and Bad

Pros: Excellent, it works with my KVM Switch thru the Logitech Unity wireless adapter and all.

Cons: the dash it places at every movement and input field is infuriating. Logitech should fix or replace already. This is a known problem. The keyboard is obviously defective. Just Terrible!

Other Thoughts: Logitech really needs to address this, fix this problem already!!!

4 out of 5 eggsLove this keyboard functionality, not happy with how this one arrived

Pros: nice feel, back lighting is AWESOME, the Unifying Software has some issues, but when I got it to work it works well with this keyboard.
The rechargeable batteries are nice, and the ability to turn off the caps lock key through software is wonderful. Overall I like this keyboard a lot.

Cons: The unifying software from Logitech is a pain in the rear. I already had several unifying devices attached to my computer, adding this keyboard was very difficult. I would get to where I tried to find the keyboard and the software would hang. There are boatloads of complaints about this on the logitech site and all over the web, after digging for hours I found a solution, but it was not easy to implement or find.

The keyboard arrived loosely packaged in a generic brown cardboard box. I immediately plugged in the keyboard to charge the batteries, and the LED was flashing red. Which means there was a problem with the batteries. When I opened the battery compartment there were two different manufacturer's batteries installed. I also opened my old K800 and found two batteries that matched one of the batteries that came with the new keyboard. After installing the two old batteries in the new keyboard it worked fine.

I purchased two new rechargeable batteries and it's working fine.

Other Thoughts: I was a little dismayed by the poor packaging and the battery issues. But all in all, the keyboard now works just fine, and the cost of 2 rechargeable batteries isn't huge, just annoying

5 out of 5 eggs  doing pretty good

Pros: Wireless, hotkey customizability, lighting customizability. It's a good keyboard. I was expecting a worn out piece of junk honestly after reading all the reviews. I was pretty surprised.

Cons: The two stands at the back that increase the angle of the keyboard don't stay up if you decide to push your keyboard back to make room on your desk. They just fold over. Kind of annoying. I prefer the black light to stay on rather than turn on only when in use. So this drains the battery faster. After unifying my keyboard and mouse to one Logitech sensor, my mouse became a bit unresponsive. Couldn't really track down the cause except for the fact it only started after unifying with the keyboard.

Other Thoughts: A good deal. It suits my needs perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech K800 Illuminated Keyboard

Pros: Has nice wide and comfortable keys so i haven't miss typed with this board yet. The adjustable illumination is great and very bright even in the light but also not gleaming in your face when in the dark. For a refurbished keyboard everything works as it should and not a single scratch on the front of the keyboard.

Cons: The only con i can come up with so far is that the proximity sensor is on the right of the keyboard and your right hand has to be near the right of the keyboard as i always put my left hand on the keyboard first. Other than that is has 3 scratches on the back of the keyboard, but obviously not a big deal because you'll never see them and it is a refurbished product so i was expecting more than that.

Other Thoughts: All in all its a very good keyboard and its the only keyboard iv'e ever owned that i haven't miss typed a single key yet.

1 out of 5 eggsNot so good

Pros: Can't give it any pros except to say that it looked nice because it never worked

Cons: I bought the keyboard refurbished because the price was 50% off. I expected minor problems but did not expect a non-functional keyboard. The battery was completely dead, with a flashing red LED light, and the unit would not charge even though I tried various computers, ports, and cables. Finally I called Newegg, got a RMA number, and returned the unit. I am currently waiting for the broken one to be received back at Newegg and a replacement unit to arrive. Not real happy with the speed of regular service UPS either. It takes a full 7 days to go from Virginia to California.
