5 out of 5 eggsvery light touch

Pros: Super easy to type on. Very nice key layout. Charges easily under my desk lamp. Possibly the best keyboard I've ever owned. Love the feel of it. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Cons: For some reason, only during initial logon to Windows I get a notice that I gave the wrong password about 20-20% of the time. Even if I carefully type each character to make sure I get it right. If it happened more often I'd have sent it back for a replacement, but only once has it done this 2 times in a row. Hardly worth the trouble of shipping.

Other Thoughts: I'm surprised it didn't get more 5 star reviews. I've owned dozens of keyboards and this is easily in the top 3 if not the very best. I've had mouses I liked better but for the price it's very good to excellent. Make sure receiver is close to K.B. and mouse and the extension is plugged into the back so it's going straight into the mother board.

4 out of 5 eggsawesome, but one improvement...

Pros: A solid plug-and-play keyboard for my latest hackintosh. An overhead light or desk lamp can keep it going if the battery starts running low.

One HUGE improvement that could be made is getting some illumination on the keys. Battery killer as it may be, I would accept the trade-off.

Cons: no illumination on the keys.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent keyboard, but not great at all

Pros: Keys are fairly good quality and overall construction is decent. However, drivers for unifying receiver are extremely buggy. Crashes almost every week.

Also keyboard fails to charge constantly. It will usually only charge while the keyboard is in use. If you leave the keyboard under a light source and leave it to charge while afk....No dice, will not charge. This would be a very poor choice for a gaming keyboard. The charge barely lasts for my light use of it. Logitech tech support has tried to fix this constantly, but fail.

Logitech:: Why would you make a solar keyboard that only charges while in USE? WHY? It's like making a phone that only charges while your talking on it?

I would not buy one of these again.

4 out of 5 eggsThis is for MAC. Dig into the Details

Pros: Is a keyboard, and keyboards are necessary for operating a computer. Would be great if you have a Mac.

Cons: The product is most likely delightful, but Newegg needs to make the fact that this is a mac product much more prominent. Like for example, oh I don't know... IN THE TITLE?

Other Thoughts: I have the PC version of this keyboard, and I love it so much that I wanted another one for when I travel. I used Newegg's android app while I was waiting to get on a plane, and selected the first listing for this product, which said nowhere without some digging that this is a Mac product. Read those descriptions deeply folks, because Newegg apparently doesn't think that the fact that this is a Mac product is important enough to put in the title.

5 out of 5 eggsNever Needs batteries

Pros: Recharges under any light
Super light and thin
Keys are comparable to Mac laptop keys - Low key and spaced nicely
Full 10 key

Cons: The paneling under the Logitech symbol came up a little bit because the glue gave way but it doesnt bother me
The finish is a mirror finish and scratches very easily, but again that doesnt bother me
The slip pads on the bottom of the keyboard fell off because of gluing issues as well. I dont care about that either

Other Thoughts: Im not tethered to my computer. I can go a ways away and still type. I never need batteries again. The power charge has never dropped below 100%. I bought this keyboard off of the Logitech site though and not Newegg

4 out of 5 eggsGood keyboard for average use

Pros: It is very light and slim, like a laptop.
Spacing between keys so my fingers only hit one key at a time and not 2.
It turns off automatically after not being used for a while.\

Cons: As mentioned in another review the battery life is a bit iffy but that's assuming its NOT just from the poorly lit room I have it in.
After about a year the \ key has somehow become overly sensitive. Placing a quarter on the key causes it to spam (its annoying to hit backspace and type \\\ but not enough to merit any action to be taken)

Other Thoughts: Its great if you are a casual user and only use it lightly. But A far cry from a gaming keyboard which is what this one ended up becoming.

Overall this is a good keyboard

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing after the honeymoon

Pros: Works great till the included battery stops charging/discharging properly. Keys feel nice and are spaced well.

Cons: Included battery stopped holding a charge properly after less than a year. Started off with draining while at a 'good' level of lighting. I put it directly under a light at the office (500+ lux) for 3 days with no use. The battery life jumped from 30 to 50%... and went back to 30% in two days of (4-5 hours) use.

Other Thoughts: Logitech makes a point to talk about how eco-friendly both their packaging as well as everything else about the product they possibly can; They talk about never replacing batteries

Then they go ahead and use a battery that seems to have a low usage life (Search for logitech and ML2032 and you will see a number of other people with similar battery problems.)

Then instead of replacing it under warranty (Less than a year old, mind you,) They tell you to buy a new one from their parts store.

I could grit my teeth and deal with that if they actually even listed the part in question...

As it stands as my first support experience with logitech they fell flat on their face. I normally hear great things about their support but this keyboard seems a thorny issue to them.
