3 out of 5 eggsStiff Keys

Pros: The key layout is excellent and consistent with several Logitech keyboards.

Cons: After about a month the key movement gets stiff. It has a really cheap feel. I have several of these keyboard so it's not that it's just one that's bad, they are all stiff.

If Logitech updated the Kxxxx series keyboards with better keys and backlighting, I would replace them all.

5 out of 5 eggsLove It

Pros: This keyboard has a full-size layout in a compact package. It really comes in handy when I'm sitting at the kitchen table which has limited room. The finish is similar to a matte black and it's almost camouflaged on the black marble table! The key "feel" is soft and precise. The price is fair.

Cons: Wished I would have ordered it from Newegg, but I didn't realize I'd be getting back into building computers again. Oh well Newegg, I'll make up for it! :)

Other Thoughts: Be nice if it had red back-lit keys...

2 out of 5 eggsbasic wireless keyboard

Pros: -uses two (2) AA batteries. plentiful and easy to find
-wireless
-description says mini, but there is a full keypad, function keys and media keys. Nice to have media keys!
-Logitech unify capable
-very light weight.

Cons: -connectivity is choppy. I paired it with the unify unit. You will be typing and then the cursor stops. A few seconds later the rest of my sentence is magically appearing out of the keyboard buffer. Happens very frequently. Can't hardly type a basic email without it happening.

2 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard, Bad Company

Pros: It's a nice little keyboard, buttons are quiet.

Cons: Power switch went out in 5 days. Sent it back through Logitech themselves, waited a couples weeks to get one back in french, now they're sending me one that isn't even the one I had. (victorian instead of glossy black, also marked as a "dented box")

Other Thoughts: I don't blame NewEgg for this in any way, but I am no longer a customer of Logitech. Completely let down.

4 out of 5 eggsGood overall keyboard

Pros: The keyboard is great so far. It is very compact but doesn't feel cramped at all (though I have small hands). The keys don't feel that great though it isn't a problem. They feel a little mushy and not as responsive as other chiclet style keyboards I've used.

It also has a full number pad and convenient media buttons (play/pause, previous and next track, volume) and shortcut keys. Also, it does have the unifying receiver so if you have a unifying mouse, you can connect both with just one receiver (which is tiny).

Cons: Wish it had indicator lights for num lock, caps lock, etc. Minor issue.

The arrows are in an awkward spot, but it's for the sake of compactness.

Not a fan of the glossy finish.

5 out of 5 eggsI like it alot!

Pros: It has a small sleek footprint, accurate to type on, inexpensive and wireless! I just ordered a second one so that I can use this same keyboard with another computer with the unifying dongle. Nice hot-keys as well. I like having separate play button! Not having to hit function to hit play is nice.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Not illuminated, not a con but wish the illuminated style keyboards by logitech weren't so much more expensive. More than double the price :(.

5 out of 5 eggsClicky Clacky

Pros: Much smaller than a full blown keyboard. Comfortable to use for me at the very least. Functions keyboard are easily programmable in Fedora 17 without sticky software.

Cons: Seems to make clicky clacky noises as i type much louder than other keyboards I've owned in the past.

Other Thoughts: I was going to use this keyboard with a mouse that I already used on my system to only notice that I need the Logitech software to pair the two devices. Unlucky me it's made for Windows and Mac OS X. Lucky me I have a mac book pro.

5 out of 5 eggsNice couch surfing keyboard

Pros: Good key placement
On/off switch
Caps lock light (despite what other review says)
Size and weight great for using on lap
Full keypad
Ctrl is easy to palm (previous keyboard had FN and keys weren't high enough)
Has a compartment for the USB adapter (battery compartment) so you don't lose it travelling
Says 3 year battery life (not sure, but on/off switch will save a LOT of power)

Cons: Arrow keys take a little getting use to, since they are oddly placed to condense space.
Most keys are well placed, but a few are different (ins/del and page), but not too inconvenient (I kind of like having del on top of backspace)

Other Thoughts: Neither pro nor con: Media buttons (if you need them). Keys feel different than other keyboards. The keys feel mushy like domes, but the key shapes make keypresses feel pretty distinct due to chicklet keys.

I replaced a SIIG (after it broke) with this as a couch surfing keyboard for Linux. It works beautifully and typing on it is pretty accurate. I use a Das for my desktop and usually hate dome mesh keyboards, but the only key that doesn't feel too distinct is the space. For the price and function, this keyboard is probably the best choice for a small wireless.
