1 out of 5 eggsVery Dissapointed

Pros: Nice keyboard with nice layout replaced a Logitech G15 that I had for over 5 years with the G710.

Cons: The Keycaps on this keyboard are made out of cheap plastic and break easily. Both of my CTRL keys have broke off in less than 1 year using this product. The first one I purchased was shipped to me with duplicate period keys instead of a period and a comma key and my first CTRL key broke off within a week of use.

Other Thoughts: After dealing with the problems that this keyboard has with the key-caps and also dealing with Logitech Support over this issue I would not recommend this keyboard to anyone. I really feel that the quality of Logitech Products and Support have really slipped over the past few years

2 out of 5 eggs1+ year owner disappointed

Pros: Heavy and solid build. MX Cherry Browns. Media control. USB connectors for mouse. Heavy duty stand up clips. The clicks are not loud.

Cons: Backlighting is all broken.; most of the top row does not light up at all and never has. The keys themselves are starting to break; the underside of the plastic cap where the '+' is. So now I have no key on one of my G macro buttons and also I am using the page down where my 'd' key belongs. I am not a heavy typer nor have I ever used the G1 key... no reason for the plastic to break underneath it. I don't physically abuse my keyboard either. Logitech drivers are a pain to find online because their website is faulty and half the time is down. about 3 months in the 'w' and 'e' key were very sticky for no reason. they loosened up again after about 4 days of very annoying use.

This was my first mechanical keyboard it it was recommended to me by a friend. He has had very good luck with his, but mine has been one of the worst keyboards I have ever used. It has only been a year or so and I can't wait to get another keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Keyboard, good deal

Pros: The Cherry switches feel great. The LED key light level control is broken into WASD/Arrow and everything else. I enjoy mine set to the lowest light level on the WASD/Arrows and everything else set to full off.

The price of the keyboard is really quite reasonable. The Cherry switches are somewhat expensive and you'd have a hard time making this keyboard yourself for $150.

The volume and mute controls are actually pretty handy.

The "Windows" button disable mode is awesome. In the past the very first thing I did to any new keyboard was pop those keys off and throw them away.

Cons: The keys are only whisper quiet if you don't bottom out your key strokes. Other wise there is some noise, but its not bad.

If you are not a touch typist, and used to aligning your fingers by looking at the letters, you kinda have to leave the WASD/Arrow keys LED lights on because you can't see the letters very well otherwise. Those keys are silver and the letters on them are white. I'm sure one could retrain to use the silver itself, but why?

The play/stop fwd/back buttons seems to need the media program to have the mouse focus in order to work. This kind of defeats the point of having the keys. This doesn't apply to the volume and mute controls, fortunately

Other Thoughts: The palm rest is just a plastic piece as others have mentioned, but I don't mind it at all. The mild flex from the weight of my palm is perhaps even a good thing. Its not permanently attached.

The cable coming from the keyboard splits up into two USBs about 12" from the end. One for the keyboard, the other for a pass-thru port on the back of the key board.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Excellent tactile response

Fantastic placement of programmable macro buttons

Mechanical switches, and quiet, a wonder of modern engineering.

The heavy construction gives me faith in the longevity, and also stability during stressful gaming situations. The options for the back lighting are beyond my ability to explain, multiple levels, and separate controls for WASD, Just excellent and well planned out.

Cons: Not really anything bad about the keyboard per se, but the logi software is having issues working within my game itself, so I can not really count this as an issue for the keyboard, yet it exists and is worthy of note.

Other Thoughts: At the price I received this for, it is worth every penny,. This is my first mechanical keyboard, and so far the exerience has been very good, I took an egg for the instability of the software, but the keyboard itself is magnificent

1 out of 5 eggsWORST KEYBOARD EVER!!

Pros: Mechanic, Logitech

Cons: The G1,g2,g3,g4,g5,g6 keywords are in the WORST possible positions every time you hit the ctr or esc you hit the g keys instead and a 20x windows pop up. Makes me want to trash this stupid keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsG710 plus keyboard

Pros: Adjustable backlighting, the palm support is removable. Seems pretty heavy duty.

Cons: Requires two USB ports for power. But that's not too big a deal.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Product, Terrible Support

Pros: The keyboard is great and feels wonderful type on and for gaming. I have yet to use the G keys but everything else is fine with one minor exception.

Cons: My only issue is a minor one but it is compounded by the terrible support I am getting from Logitech, which is none at all. I noticed an issue with the keyboard. When Num Lock is turned on all the numpad keys work properly (hitting the key makes the corresponding number appear, except for the 9/Page Up key. When the number 9 numpad key is hit nothing happens. Now this is really weird considering that the switch seems to work fine, when NumLock is off hitting that key performs a page up wich is normal behavior. But with NumLock on, the key does nothing.

I have sent in two tickets to Logitech, one a week old now and the other a couple days old. In addition I have posted to the logitech support forum and have been ignored completely in both tickets and the post.

Other Thoughts: I like the keyboard, but I am hating Logitech support for essentially not existing, this is not what I expect from a name brand like Logitech and it is rapidly making me consider other vendors for my accessories.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Keyboard

Pros: Excellent Mechanical, Good adjustable light system for the arrow and WASD and another for everything else, good volume wheel and little bit weird to control but still very solid.

Switches are excellent no noise when and soft. but still good quality. 0 noise when typing (important thing for me to listen my thoughts instead of my keys). Very responsive on time for those microsecond between killing someone in a game or be kill.

I would recommend the next but: if you

In my mind a excellent mechanical keyboard, take care of it and it last forever. I guarantee you: you probably will change for something new before it break down on you.

Cons: It is not soft in the key but that's what make it last and mechanical, for school/work purposes i would not recommend to write an 3000 pages essay/report on it.

Other Thoughts: Awful orange color on the G-Keys, doesn't match with anything. but it should not be something to stop you from buy it. I did get it and and kind of live with it.

5 out of 5 eggsI'm inpressed

Pros: Great feedback and classic feel. The lighting is amazing. When I play games I can feel the difference.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: People made me wary of buying this product but when I got it, it seemed more intact and sturdy than what people were saying but maybe I'm just crazy.

2 out of 5 eggsProbably Best to Avoid

Pros: Feels responsive and is relatively quiet for a mechanical keyboard.

The extra USB plugs were nice, but I hardly used them.

Cons: Keycaps break. They will break with no exception. Logitech will not just send you replacement keycaps.

Other Thoughts: Either or, but the backlights are really bright at the highest settings. So you need to turn them back a little or you may blind yourself during the night.
