5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: This is the first mechanical keyboard I have owned and I was extremely impressed with the build quality compared to my old non mechanical G110. Very responsive key storks.

Cons: There isn't really any cons except for a few things I think they could add like multi color backlight same as the G110 has, or different color WSAD keys like red would be nice.

Other Thoughts: I purchased mine on newegg when it was on sale and total cost was $111 which you can't beat that price for a quality mechanical keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid keyboard

Pros: +Keyboard feels solid
+white backlighting
+media keys work without software on the apps i use
+Typing on this keyboard is no louder than a rubber dome keyboard

Cons: -Thick USB cable, I feel could be a bit longer
-Backlit keys, some are a bit brighter than others, not an issue to me
- the key arrangment isnt "standard Cherry MX layout" so getting fancy keycaps for it might not be an option

Other Thoughts: I mentioned in the pros that the keyboard is quiet, I replaced a keyboard that had Cherry MX Blues and people in the house complained to me how loud it was, this Logitech board solved that problem, im able to type late into the night when people are sleeping now

2 out of 5 eggsGood fr gaming, terriblefortyping

Pros: Good build quality
bright backlighting
USB pass-through
Volume control
Keystrokes are audible and tactile

Cons: Keys must be COMPLETELY depressed (something you won't do naturally if you type on a laptop and/or Mac) and they key travel is so long that it's tough not to hit something nearby. I spend more time backspacing now for corrections that I do typing the message.

Other Thoughts: If for gaming and gaming only, roll the dice. If for any manner of productive use, forget it!

2 out of 5 eggsFancy Keyboard

Pros: Solid, stable body that looks high tech with all the back-lit keys.

Cons: After 5 months, the ESC key is loose and the left CTRL key has a split plastic mounting column. This is apparently a well known problem.

Other Thoughts: I got this keyboard because I had only had cheap ones like what came free with a desktop PC. It was high tech, had advantages for gamers, and got a decent percentage of good reviews. However, the left side function keys turned out to be annoying because, for many years, the bottom left was always the CTRL key, just like the top left was the ESC key. Now it's the G1 & G6 function keys. The Left CTRL key is used heavily, such as for CTRL-X,C,V (cut/copy/paste), or in games. Five months after purchase, the inner plastic + column that mounts on the switch cracked and split, leaving half of the column and the o-ring. Searches and reviews revealed this is an ongoing problem--and it just happened to me! That key is about 1.5x the width of the regular keys and pressure on the left or right sides puts angled force on the plastic + column on the switch, so it's not surprising it cracked and broke. I moved up the o-ring to hold the broken half of the column in place so that I still have a working left CTRL key. This is not good for such a pricey keyboard. Also, the ESC key, which is all by itself, is loose but not broken. None of this is good for a keyboard that is supposed to be top-of-the-line. If the cheapest keyboards can last for years without any issues, expensive ones should be better.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid at all costs..

Pros: Excellent keyboard, subtle back light, good key response, like the g buttons. Nice to have an upgraded usb hub on the keyboard.

Cons: First g key fell off approximately two weeks after purchasing, since then keys continue to break at about one per month. This is a well documented issue, that I failed to research. Buyer beware, replacement is a nightmare, and does not involve newegg.

Logitech dropped the ball on this one and should rescind the product until they fix the obvious manufacturing flaws.

Other Thoughts: I've owned all the logitech Gaming line of keyboards and mice going back to the original banned g11 keyboard. I still to this day recommend logitech for industry standard peripheral accessories. However this keyboard was an absolute disaster. Replacement would take 2-3 weeks, and from what others have experienced they still haven't fixed the problem in the first place.

4 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Geming Mechanical from Logitech. Should I honestly say more.

Very Sturdy. Very Heavy. Mechanical Switches.

Cons: Fragile key caps. Fragile LED's

Other Thoughts: My control keycap has split up the side of the post that connects it to the switch. Not from over use. In fact I have not been using that computer in general.

My space bar LED just flickers. Im thinking a short. But im torn on soldering it myself or sending it back.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard

Pros: Heavy, Backlit keys, Great quality, Easily attachable wrist rest

Cons: No braided cable, A bit expensive

Other Thoughts: It's a great keyboard for gaming & typing. I have had no problems with it at all and I highly recommend it. The backlighting looks great, it's very sturdy and responsive.
My only cons are that it's a bit expensive and I would have preferred if it came with a braided cable.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat until key broke

Pros: Great feeling keys

Cons: Key lights burned out right after plugging in, but I didn't want to send it back. I guess I should have, because after 8 months of gaming, one key broke off (plastic broke, cannot be fixed). Don't waste your money on this one!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Keyboard, but

Pros: After a couple of days getting used to to high quality, everything about it is worth the price. It is quite and has great programmable keys and software. I do not know how it could get any better except one small issue.

Cons: The small issue is the keys you use when holding the shift key, !,@,#,$,%,<,> and so on do not light up, even when holding the shift key.

Other Thoughts: Even with certain keys not having light behind them, this is a great keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Looking - Even Better to Type On

Pros: These Cherry MX Brown keys are incredible for everyday use, being as balanced as they are in comparison to the red and blue types of mechanical switches. The keys are relatively soft and very easy to depress, providing feedback that feels good while not being excessively noisy about it. Quicker, harder typing makes a pleasant clacking sound, and tapping a few keys softly won't make much of any sound at all. It's made typing a joy, and games comfortable and responsive.

Logitech's gaming software ended up being a simple installation, giving easy access to the commands and macros you can assign to the 'G' keys and 'M' banks. I setup mine to open common programs and display particular directories as default when not playing a game and it's very snappy about responding to those commands.

Physically on the desk, it looks great. I've read issues about the backlight, mostly on early versions, but this one doesn't seem to have any trouble at all. The brightest setting is quite bright! It's durable and heavy to boot.

Cons: Considering how heavy and beastly the rest of the board felt, I was surprised to find the attachable wrist rest was only made out of a thin-ish textured plastic. I wasn't sure of that taking it out of the box, but it ended up feeling nice and doing it's job just fine.

Other Thoughts: Getting a Logitech mouse to go with it.
