4 out of 5 eggsGreat combo!

Pros: It works by magic! Well, if you consider wireless, magic, then yes! No more wires and the battery life is amazing. Haven't changed it now in 4 months, and the software tool says its greater than 50% in battery life.

The key board is very comfortable and installing the software will allow you to use the extra buttons. It also has the very important calculator button!

The mouse size is perfect for my hands, although if you have large hands, this is not for you. There's also a switch for both the mouse and keyboard to turn it off, I hardly use it though but the battery still is strong!

Cons: Only downfall I see is the mouse is quite noise when clicking. Really loud. -1 egg.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a good investment over wired keyboard, but don't throw your wired one away, just in case!

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great feel to both products

Cons: Massive input lag

Other Thoughts: For a logitech device I expected much better. If the receiver isn't within 6 inches of my keyboard/mouse I experience a TON of input delay from both devices. I moved the receiver to the front of my PC and while the mouse works decently, the keyboard still has a ton of issues. Contacted Logitech and all I was told was it was probably interference from other devices. I've used other wireless kb/m combos without a problem, so clearly it's a problem with their design. You can see how many other people have the same issue and are being ignored on Logitech's forums. Avoid this combo. Not worth the price at all. Wish I could return this.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Keyboard

Pros: A large step up from my old corded Microsoft ergonomic keyboard. Finger positions are more natural and for the first time I have a keyboard with a padded wrist area that I actually use in a natural way.

It will be a long time before I've explored all the various key functions and made many changes.

The larger (vertical) delete key is very handy.

Cons: I've not found any yet.

Other Thoughts: As someone else noted, there isn't a light on the keyboard telling me if I have caps lock on or not, however I do get a splash screen telling me the state of caps lock and changing it when I press press 'caps lock' so that at least for me is a none issue.

5 out of 5 eggsOK

Pros: I really like the keyboard - 5 Eggs
I really am middle of the road on the mouse - 4 Eggs

Both work well, unifying software and nano receivers from Logitech are the best ever. I ended up using the keyboard on my Desktop PC with a M510 mouse and unifying receiver. The mouse is now stand-alone on my laptop and used as a travel mouse.

Cons: My only cause for concern is the scroll wheel on the mouse. There is a toggle on the top of the mouse for allowing the scroll wheel to "free-spin" for fast scrolling or be locked down to feel like a fishing reel with the clicker on. I am very used to Logitech mice having the smooth scrolling wheel which doesn't spin free and also doesn't have the clicking feel to it and is perfect in between the two settings.

I used this mouse for my laptop as I don't need to scroll much without gaming and just general office work, so doesn't bother me as much. If this was my primary mouse for gaming, I would sell it and get something else as it really isn't condusive to accurate scrolling on the toggle setup.

Other Thoughts: I understood the toggle button before the purchase, but thought that the smooth scroll was the slower toggle, not the clicking as you scroll type wheel motion. Not impressed, but usable for general function.

Overall, good price for new combo and worth the money I paid at $40. Would make a descent office desktop combo, but not for gaming.

2 out of 5 eggsgreate keyboard, horrible mouse

Pros: I love the keyboard, lots of features, feels good.

Cons: There is no point in pairing up the mouse with this keyboard. The scroll wheel is overly sensitive and will not properly vertically position a screen. Even worse, there is residual vertical scrolling after the mouse wheel is done moving which is extremely frustrating if you are a web developer. There area plenty of reviews on other websites about the mouse scroll problem, but I didn't do my homework before hand :(

Other Thoughts: Luckily I got the combo on a special, but I still feel unsatisfied. Logitech's gear isn't what it used to be; this is my first Logitech wireless mouse and it will be my last. I ended up pairing the keyboard with my MX510 wired mouse. Still very frustrated that I paid for a peripheral that is junk.

5 out of 5 eggsprice was right

Pros: Needed a wireless keyboard/mouse set in the next couple months for an upcoming build and was attracted by the price of $39. I have 3 Logitech MK550 sets and this didn't look to differ too much, the price egged me on:

1. Shipped quickly
2. Sturdy, neat build
3. Works fine and has a good range
4. Owning the MK550s prepared me for what to expect and I wasn't disappointed.
5. I've had good luck with a number of Logitech products, so I had confidence buying this.

Cons: My only con is that the settings of some on/off keys like Caps Lock aren't indicated with lights. But, I knew that wasn't the case before I bought the MK560.

Other Thoughts: One of the MK550 sets I bought (not here) a couple years back was not clearly labeled that it was a refurbished product. When I found that out, I had opened the box, so I decided to try it and it functioned beautifully and still does - I kept it even though I'm not a fan of refurbished items.

5 out of 5 eggsLoving it

Pros: Have been a long time user of Logitech Mouse+Keyboard and this one once again beats every other combo out there. Being a programmer, I am using it almost all of the time. Got a great deal on newegg.
Pros:
Soft to feel and touch.
Great number of intuitive shortcuts
Mouse has an additional window-tab functionality which enhances the over all experience
Key spacing is just perfect for ease of typing and comfort

The padding is just right

Cons: None, for me personally.
But those who are used to using really large mouse(which I have never been a fan of), may find it a bit small.
